The guest mix in the second hour is by Mav, a DJ / Producer and live techno performer based in Dublin, Ireland. She sits on the dark/industrial side of the techno landscape and coming from rock and metal roots, she approached electronic music from a different angle. Her exploration of industrial, dark, goth, & EBM broadened her musical viewpoint and influenced her taste and creativity. She loves strong four on the floor beats with aggressive, hypnotic grooves and little or no melody. The set you’re about to hear was created live for A Darker Wave in an improvised session.
