In Episode #2, Sylas and Julie spill the cosmic beans about their movie, "Attack of the Killer Brains from Outer Space."
They reveal their writing process, which started from a random scene Sylas had jotted down ages ago - and took off organically from there.
They talk about finding  inspiration while writing: researching classics from both the Sci-Fi and Coming of Age genres. They ended up pulling references from "The Last Starfighter" and "The Breakfast Club" and honing in on old-school sci-fi flicks like "The Blob" and "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" for their nostalgic charm and use of practical special effects.
Stay tuned in with stars-to-be Sylas and Julie (DallHousePictures.com) and don't miss an episode of “A Filmmaker's Guide to the Galaxy.”

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
