Welcome to the first episode of a new podcast about all things cruise ship and ocean liner, hosted by cruise ship journalist and historian Peter Knego and ocean liner aficionado Dan Trachtenberg. We get a chance to introduce ourselves, explain how our interest in the subject grew and lament some of the ships we have lost this year. We also mention the handful of liners that have been preserved around the world and discuss a sad and disturbing new development with several Great Lakes cruise ships and the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.
