How do you develop the attitude of Christ in your marriage? It begins   by following Jesus' example of humility and service. Ask God to give you the attitude of Christ so that you can express love for your wife through acts of service.

A love language minute. Here's Doctor Gary Chapman on developing
the attitude of Christ.

I reflect back on my own marriage and we struggled
for a long, long time in our marriage. But it
was when I came to the place, when I realized
that I did not know what to do. And that's
when God brought to my mind that picture of Jesus
washing the feet of his disciples. And I heard God say,
that's your problem. You don't have the attitude of Christ
towards your wife. And I ask God, after I repented

(00:29):
of my failure, I asked God to give me the
attitude of Christ that I would see her as the
person above all others that I am to be loving
in the name of Jesus, and I'm to be serving her.
And when my heart got changed, and I saw that
as my mission was to love my wife like Christ

(00:49):
loved the church regardless of how she treated me. That's
when our marriage started turning around.
