Killer Bee Studios.
Let's go ahead and dive on in.
Hey everybody, thanks forjoining us tonight at the Killer
Bee Studios.
Wow, look at everybody.
This is awesome to see you allyou guys.
Yes, let's see some confetti.
I see a lot of people who's gotthe emojis on their name badges
now, so it looks like everybodygot their updates in.

(00:22):
I didn't put any online.
I see you got a bunch of plants, you're a yes, I do Is that
your emoji swag.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
I didn't know that's what it's called, but yeah, I
like it.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
I don't know, I just make it up when I go.
I don't have them because Iwant bees, I want bees.
There's no bees, but hey youguys think, give us bees, give
us bees.
Hey, look at the new table.
This was a gift.
Do you see this table here?
You like that it's gorgeous.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
This is a gift.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
You guys.
I don't know if he's here, butyou guys, if you guys pull these
, we had a builder give us thistable and this new sign that
looks like it's made out ofglass.
His name is Tanzer, so pleasethrow him some confetti.
We're so appreciative of thatgift.
It was awesome that he did that.
I just got on one day and allof a sudden I said, hey, you
have a gift from somebody.
I'm like, wow, this is reallycool.
So I love the community in here, and tonight we're actually

(01:09):
going to be kind of talkingabout this story that's going to
come out from yeah, how many ofyou guys know Brittany Cherry?
How many of you guys knowBrittany?
Okay, yeah, I see some confetti.
Awesome, this is going to be agreat story to hear, because I
think this story kind of helpsbridge the gap between realities
when I talk about in real liferealities and VR realities.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Exactly.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
So our guest is going to be joining us to share her
VR story and how connections inthe metaverse, her connections
in the metaverse, has made herin real life dreams a reality.
And I really wanted to sharethis because my hope is that
through this story, through thisstory, that it'll be
encouraging to others to notgive up.

(01:52):
I mean, how many of you guyshere have dreams right now Like
this story is some confetti?
If you guys have dreams thatyou're like okay, yeah, okay,
all right.
So we have three peopledreaming, all right, okay, here
we go.
Here's some more.
Okay, all right, there we go.
So everybody, we have dreamsand I think this is encouraging
because it's you never know inthe metaverse, like in here, you
never know who you're going toencounter and how it could open

(02:17):
up new opportunities in thepeople that you connect with.
So this people you connect with, even in the metaverse, could
be, could play a huge part inmaking your dreams a reality.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
And that's that's the interesting thing to think
about.
Mrs Cudby, you had a questionfor the audience.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
What I wanted to know is have any of you ever
considered the fact thatconnections that you make in the
metaverse could actually helpyou attain your dreams in the
real world?
Have you ever thought aboutthat?
Because, really honestly, untilI heard this story about
Brittany and Rick, it neveroccurred to me that that was
really a possibility.
So if any of you have anyanything to say about that, we

(03:02):
would love for you to come up.
R King, could you bring up themicrophone?
Hey?

Speaker 1 (03:07):
boss, what's your thoughts on that?
Have you ever thought aboutthat?

Speaker 4 (03:09):
I always thought about it.
I think that you know when youput your mind to something you
can accomplish it.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
I'm very, very happy for Brittany Cherry.
I think she deserves everythingshe's getting Awesome.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
I love that.
I love it, thank you.
Thank you, boss King.
Thank you, okay, you're gonnatell me how to pronounce it
again.

Speaker 6 (03:30):
Yeah, you said it first the right time, first the
right time.
You said it right the firsttime.
Hold on, hold on she on.
Okay, can I get?

Speaker 1 (03:37):
some confetti for that people.

Speaker 7 (03:40):
If you guys, if you guys have been, here long enough
.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
this table is like gonna be trouble for me, isn't
it Okay?

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Thank you, we should table it for now, I guess, but
yeah, oh, whoa, whoa, whoa.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
No, you're not gonna hit it.
That was all he's like.
No, no, look, look at theproducer.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
He's like no, no, no, no, you can't tell me.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
No, okay, he likes it he likes it.

Speaker 6 (03:59):
That's awesome.
Yeah, have you thought aboutthat.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
I'm a punny guy.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
I mean I'm really ponderful.
Of course people are gonna likethat joke.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
I mean if they don't.

Speaker 6 (04:06):
If they don't, I enjoy the punishment.
Anyway, all right.
So, yeah, I'm, I'm Sheehan, I'myour singing, dancing, acting
martial artist, gymnast, dj hostat your service.
I live to entertain.
It's what I'm all about in life.
And, yes, what you were talkingabout like have.
I thought that this could helpwith my dreams.
I stopped calling it a dream awhile ago.
I call it the plan because thefriend who says like it's not

(04:29):
the dream, it's the plan.
I was like I like that.
I like that All the thoughtprocess.
Anyway, but yeah, no, Idefinitely think you could help
me in the entertainment world.
Not necessarily about you know,I'll do something in here that
makes me famous.
I'm not doing this to becomefamous.
I entertain because it's what Ienjoy doing.
If I can make a living doing it, that'd be great.
But being on here, I have metso many wonderful and talented

(04:55):
people.
I see the endless potential ofHorizon Worlds.
Like, I don't know much aboutbuilding.
I'm learning about building butas far like what I've learned
so far is like the only limitpretty much that we have in here
is our imagination and capacity, but that's a different, uh,
anyway, so um uh, where, whereI'm out with this is, uh, in

(05:17):
here, uh, if, if nothing else,if you don't like, do what I'm
trying to do, I'm trying to makea bit of a platform on here.
I'm going to be starting to makesocial medias and stuff for my
entertaining.
I I'm involved with a wholebunch of worlds and I'm trying
to.
I actually have to scheduleeverything and because I'm
everywhere and doing everythingall at once is hard to do for
some reason.

(05:37):
Anyway, uh, so, uh, I'm tryingto make a platform on here and
everything like that, but that'snot the only thing you can do
here.
Like there are endlesspotentials for the main thing,
which is networking.
It's it's not always about whatyou know, it's who you know.
Sometimes, and it's notnecessarily about like hey, let
me be your friend so I can uh,you know, ride off your your

(05:58):
coat, tails or whatever.
No, it's like talented peoplehelping each other out, because
no one would ever get where theywant to be in life without help
.
That's awesome, Thank you, that's exactly like I'm like
from the beginning up and likeoh my goodness.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
I love it.
I love it, thank you, thank youAwesome.
So with that arcane would youcue the guest intro?
And you guys, please, let'sreign with some confetti.
Let's welcome out Ding Dong, brittany, cherry and Rick party
to the killer bee studios.
Come on out, guys.
Hey, it's like a group trainright here.

(06:33):
I'm not even used to it.
I'm like, yes, coming out atone time.
Yeah, you guys, you guys, hey, thank you guys all for joining
us.
Like see, I had to measure realquick to make sure everybody
could fit on this couch.

Speaker 8 (06:46):
I'm impressed you did well.
It's so comfortable.
Well, it's great, I'mcomfortable right now.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
But for some odd reason I thought you wanted me
to sit there and Ding Dong here.
I thought maybe it's just beena long day for me, I don't know
it's okay.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
It's just like that.

Speaker 8 (07:01):
I'm sitting in between a Ding Dong and a party.
I think he's a party.
I'm the Ding Dong today.
So bad, this is crazy.
Oh my gosh, you're going to belaughing so hard in my headset
sliding off my

Speaker 1 (07:08):
face Well you guys do you guys hear that you guys
have another whole instancepacked full.
Wait, when did you hear yourstory?
We did hear that.
That's crazy, that's amazing.
That's the only thing.
They'll be able to hear thepodcast, right, they'll be able

(07:29):
to hear the podcast replay.
I would like to give you guyseach about 60 seconds to
introduce yourself.
Tell us a little bit about whoyou are and how you first
discovered the metaverse orhorizon worlds and what drew you
to this platform.
I would love to start with.
We'll go to Ding Dong, thenBrittany and then Rick.
So Ding Dong, how about you Goahead?

(07:49):
60 seconds, yeah absolutely.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
Yeah.
So many of you who I know anddon't know in here, ding Dong,
digital creator Don't reallycreate worlds in here much.
Although I have dabbled with ita bit, it's not really my forte
.
I do a combat sports analysisplatform with my brother, leroy,
who's in the crowd there, so wedo that every Friday for all
combat sports.
In addition to that, I do acombination of different content

(08:14):
creation-esque endeavors onInstagram, tiktok, youtube, and
I started my journey in themetaverse because I got knocked
out of the headset and I wasbeating somebody in ping pong.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Ding Dong ping pong.

Speaker 8 (08:31):
I was like okay, got it.

Speaker 6 (08:33):
He intrigued me and boom, here I was.
Horizon Worlds, August of 2022.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
That's awesome so you're almost at your one year
anniversary, then?

Speaker 1 (08:43):
That's correct.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
Mrs.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Kelly.
Very good, that is awesome.
How about you, brittany?

Speaker 8 (08:48):
I hit my one year in July.
So what happened was my brotherhad a headset and I don't know
I was feeling like I was boredand he was like, try this
headset.
And he had never ventured intoHorizon.
So I found Horizon on hisheadset and his avatar was a guy

(09:09):
.
So the whole time everybodythought I was a guy and I
started talking and they wereconfused and his Facebook
picture was all up there.
They were like this is a man.
So for like a whole week, I hadto convince people that I was a
woman and I was like you knowwhat?
I need to get my own headsetand get off my brother's headset
.
So after that traumaticexperience I bought my own

(09:32):
headset and my name is BrittanyCherry radio personality,
content creator and just super.
I just wanted real quick.
I know it's in my 60 seconds, but I just want to say thank you
so much.
You guys really showed out tosupport.
If you've ever shared any poststhat I've put on Instagram or

(09:56):
threads, or liked or commentedor just really engaged with me
like that means so much to meand I just really want to thank
you for supporting and for beinghere.
You can be anywhere in theworld in your killer big studios
with us, so thank you.

Speaker 5 (10:12):
Well, actually they're at home right now.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
So it could have been anywhere in the world, but
you're on your couch and you'relistening to me talk.

Speaker 8 (10:19):
Yeah, and I appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
And she's bringing in the reality here, Rick,
Whatever.

Speaker 8 (10:25):
Rick, wait a minute.
What happens to the party?
It's party in his name.
He's being a party pooper.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
That's my 60 seconds.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
I love it, yeah, and she knows her 60 seconds because
we were recording 60 secondclips downstairs for social
media and she was like run, I'mlike wow, that was right at 60
seconds, so she knows her time.
So I do yeah, because you wantto know why?

Speaker 8 (10:48):
Because you want to know why.
Because Rick always is likelook, we've got my 60 seconds
for this break We've got 20seconds to get it in, and so
like.
I'm a master summarizer at thispoint.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
She sure is.
That's awesome.
Well, Rick, why don't youintroduce yourself and tell
everybody what got you intohorizons?

Speaker 5 (11:07):
Well, what got me in here was about a good friend of
mine by the name of HurricaneDave.
He had been talking about themetaverse Like what the heck is
a metaverse over and over.
I said I got to do somethingand I mean he said you can have
a house there, you can have anoffice there.
Hey, how about you do avoiceover class?
I was like, whoa, I should do avoiceover class and he said
yeah, I just said that.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
So I got that.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
I finally got the headset about a year ago, right
before my daughter's 13thbirthday, and I have not been
able to put this thing down.
And for a living I'm a radiohost.
I'm a voiceover talent and fortwo years we kind of coached
voiceover on Clubhouse, but byme helping so many people, they

(11:47):
were literally helping me and Isaid, well, how could I further
this?
So I opened a world in MetaHorizon called Voiceover
Universe and I got more peopleto help me and that's how I got
here.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
That is awesome.
Are you still doing yourvoiceover classes too?
Are you still doing them inHorizon?

Speaker 5 (12:04):
Yeah, it still exists .
I'm just taking a little break.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
I know you're still on Clubhouse because I see your
stuff on Clubhouse, so I seethat too.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
Every now and then yeah, okay cool.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
All right, that's awesome.
And the last time you were here, I don't Go ahead, Ms Killer B.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
I just want to say I'm just glad to meet you, rick,
like I loved your lastinterview and I wasn't the
co-host at that point, but I'mso glad to be here this time.

Speaker 5 (12:27):
Glad to have you here , yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
I can say you haven't got to meet my wife because she
wasn't here during she wasn'tco-hosting.
Now she's been co-hosting andArkane's the producer.
Arkane over there, you want tosay hi on the mic, on the
producer mic over there, if Ican say it?
Hello.

Speaker 5 (12:43):
Oh, so he's like the Russell Simmons of the show.
Yes, that's right, you got it,you got it, you got it.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Sometimes metal lilies over there too, we kind
of cycle through.

Speaker 7 (12:51):
But no, that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
And we're always looking for volunteers that want
to be a part of the producerbooth too.
So this is all new.
The new studio has got a lot ofnew things happening, but
that's great, okay.
So, ding Dong, I want to goback to you here because this
story is very exciting for me tohave Brittany, rick and Ding
Dong all here to share thisstory, because I met you not

(13:13):
probably what a couple monthsago after a show.
Yeah, and you're like hey, Igot to tell you this story about
when Rick was here.
So I would love for you toshare, tell us how this all
started.
And then, how did you know?
Start us off by sharing thestory of how this metaverse
connection began.
And did you know Rick orBrittany in real life?
And I don't know that for sure, but you can answer that.

(13:35):
And then, rick and Brittany, you guys feel free to join in
where you guys would like theirstory.
This is your guys' story, thisis Brittany's story, so I would
love to hear it from your guys'perspective.
So, thank you.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
Yeah, absolutely so.
I don't know either of them inreal life per se, but I
anticipate that that will changein the future.
But essentially I joined the OGI'm going to call it the OG
Killabee Studios Before thismagnificent building was put in
place and Rick Party was theguest.

(14:06):
I didn't know he was.
I really hadn't been to aKillabee Studios show previously
and I sat there and I wascompelled by the story,
particularly because Rick talkeda little bit about having a
stutter.
Having grown up with a stutterand it was I just couldn't move
past.
It was so fascinating to methat not only did he overcome
his stutter but he alsomonetized the very thing that

(14:27):
previously was a hindrance tohim as it being a stutter and
now he makes a living from hisvoice in a lot of different ways
.
So that was just insane to me.
Probably a few weeks slashmonths before that, I met
Brittany by chance at the TurnUp podcast by GoldenRace.
Thanks for watching.

(14:49):
There was a debate happening.
For anybody who's ever beenthere it's very audience
engaging and a lot ofopportunity for people to speak
and I kind of stepped up.
Somebody maybe made anoff-color comment that offended
someone else and there was anargument happening back and
forth and I stood up tosomebody's defense that was
Brittany's friend and that'sessentially how we met.

(15:09):
So after all of that kind ofcalmed down, she reached out and
said hey, thanks for doing that.
You didn't have to speak up forsomebody you didn't know.
Yeah, I admire that.
And so from there therelationship just started where
we would just kind of look toone another, hang out in
horizons and do what most of usin here do, where we interact
and figure out kind of what'sgoing on day to day.
So at that point in time Ilearned a little bit about her

(15:33):
endeavor, which was she was thefirst digital radio station in
the horizon worlds, called BayShop Radio, which many of you
know and have been a part of itat any given time.
And I was again fascinated bythat because I was like what is
it?
What's a digital radio?
Like the breakfast club in themetaverse, like what is this?
And they had studio shows thatthey did on Wednesdays at 830,

(15:56):
and I was just blown away bythat idea.
So, of course, me just kind ofbeing a supporter and trying to
figure out my own way in horizonwe work together a lot behind
the scenes to kind of help pushthe thing forward and figure out
what was going to be next, bounce ideas off each other and
things like that.

Speaker 8 (16:11):
And I want to interject real quick because I
want to set the record straightI did not start off doing Bay
Shop Radio alone.
It was not a me thing.
Was I heavily involved?
Did I create it?
Did I curate it?
Did I have a lot to do with theplanning and the execution?

(16:33):
Absolutely.
But we're going to speak aboutthe power of collaboration.
I had two other folks with mewhen I started Bay Shop Radio
who were just as important tothe foundational curation of a
digital radio station.
So I do want to set the recordstraight that there's nothing in
this world that you can do byyourself.

(16:56):
There is nobody on the face ofthe earth who's ever created
something completely alone.
But what I will say is that youhave to do your part and,
whatever it is, that youcollaborate with people to make
it a success.
You have to give your 100%,because when you collaborate

(17:17):
together and you pull thingstogether, that's when you get
the buzz, that's when peoplenotice you, that's when you
become not only part of thecommunity but you help engage
the community and build thecommunity.
And I don't want to get startedon a soapbox, but I just want
to set the record straightbecause Actually you're on a
couch.
I don't want to get caughtbetween the cushions.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Can I curse on here, because I don't want to slip up,
I don't want to curse, I don'twant to curse.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
Okay, all right.

Speaker 8 (17:47):
Curse scene is all right.
Look, I know it's the angle ofcurse, but I almost did Look God
working on me still.
But I want to set the recordstraight because everything is
collaborative.
Okay, go ahead, that's good.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
So, you know, in the midst of kind of realizing what
Bayshire Aurelia was and seeingbehind the work that went into
it, behind the scenes, as wellas the production itself, I sort
of put two and two together andwatching Rick's show, his
interview on this show, and Iwas like I wonder if this guy's
ever seen this show, like Ithink that the production that
he's doing here is incredible.

(18:22):
He's in radio in real life.
You know, I fully believe indiversifying and if he's in here
, in theory he's into this stuff.
So I basically called them onInstagram.
I was like, hey, you know, really inspired story, loved it.
And he's like, you know, thanks, man.
And I'm like, hey, have youever, like checked out this?

Speaker 3 (18:42):
show.

Speaker 4 (18:43):
You know, but he's like, and I asked if he had met
her or ran across her at anypoint and he's like maybe, but I
don't remember if I did.

Speaker 5 (18:51):
I'm not rememberable.
I'm sitting here looking at nono no, I'm sitting here looking
at the text right now and it'sexactly like he's is.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
It is.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
I'm sitting here in a queue, okay.

Speaker 8 (19:05):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (19:06):
But I didn't know you yet, I didn't know.

Speaker 8 (19:09):
You trying to say I have a face for radio.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
No, I had never, oh my gosh Ding Dong.
You see what you got me into, man Geez.

Speaker 5 (19:17):
I'm not going to get into this man, Whatever.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
No one could say so.
You don't know me, huh, no, yougot to be glad.

Speaker 8 (19:23):
I can't curse on this podcast.
Yes you're accurate Ding Dong.

Speaker 4 (19:28):
Look, so, so, so.
So, you know he says that, andthen I say well, have you ever
checked out this show based onradio?
He's like no, but you know Ilove to check it out.
Where can I, where can I see it?
And you know, I told him theworld name and he was gracious
enough to actually go and checkit out.
Yeah, and I think you know whobetter suited to pick up the
story than my friend here to theright, my dear friend who's now

(19:48):
a great friend of mine.
We talk very frequently, youknow the wonderful Brittany
Cherry.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
And as he gets right handed off to Brittany, that's.
You know, my God.
I want you guys to rememberwhat he said there too.
He didn't know either one ofthem in real life.

Speaker 3 (20:03):
I mean, he just made a connection.
Made a connection.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
Like you're putting yourself out there, and I think
that's so important, becausethere's a lot of people that we
meet in here that are likethey're trying Like who's the
right people when you talk, toJust be you and do what you love
doing.
You said it right there, Shehan, that you know you do it
because you love doing it.
That's right.
That's where you guys got tostart, Like there's a lot of
people that's doing it, tryingbecause they want to be a big
star, but you need to do itbecause you love doing it, not

(20:27):
just because you're trying tomake something.
Do it because you love doing itand the other stuff will follow
.
But it does take hard work.
So I think this is a great timeto hand it over to Brittany, so
go for it.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
Let me just say real quick too.
Just one other quick takeaway.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
I have to let Mrs Killer, be go first, because you
know yeah you don't want to bein trouble.

Speaker 8 (20:44):
You don't want to be in trouble you better chill out,
mrs Killer, or Mrs Killer.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
This is a smart man over here.

Speaker 4 (20:50):
We don't want to put you in the behind the scenes.
You can have couched, no, ok,no, I just want to say very
quickly.

Speaker 3 (20:56):
Another thing really Ding Dong too.
It took courage to reach out toRick, because you know it's
kind of hard, like reaching outto number one, someone you don't
know.
But number two, you know, someone who you look up to and
you know you were drawn by hisstory.
So that takes courage and Iapplaud that, because there have
been times in my past beforewhere I wanted to do that but I

(21:16):
felt too shy, you know.
So, like I think that'sencouraging to think of, like
hey, what's the worst that canhappen?
Just reach out, you know.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
Yeah, and I think I mean just really quickly.
I think it's a lot easier to inthis space, right, because
we're all avatars, so what's?

Speaker 2 (21:30):
Rick going to do.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
You know, toss my IP like I mean.
He's not.

Speaker 8 (21:35):
Yeah, he's going to block you.
You know he'll be a blob.
He'll be a blob.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
Give me a thumbs up or a thumbs down, because you
know.

Speaker 4 (21:42):
So I just think you know, if you're afraid, then
just put on your avatar, youknow be in control of the leaks.

Speaker 8 (21:50):
You can change your identity here without getting
surgery also like yeah, you're adummy.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
Yeah, I'm a dummy, but with that said yeah,
Brittany, we would love to hearyour perspective on this, OK so
Ding Dong, thank you.

Speaker 8 (22:04):
But but what I really want you guys to take from what
he said was get you somefriends who do things like that
behind your back.
I had no idea he had reachedout to Rick Party asking him to
check me out.
Yeah, and friendships are tough, you know, friendships are hard

(22:28):
, and especially friendships ina space like this where you
don't really know people.
You're like still trying tofigure out what this thing is
about and you're still trying tolike gauge the environment and
who you can trust and all ofthis stuff and not giving too
much information away aboutyourself.
I was very guarded, but I wasalways professional.
I always carried myself in aprofessional way, and the reason

(22:52):
why I did that is because thisplace, this environment, is like
any other environment.
You don't know who you're goingto run into, who's an avatar,
but who they really are in reallife.
So I wanted to represent myselfhow I represent myself in real
life, right, yeah, on the offchance that what I'm doing might
put me in a position to meetsomeone.

(23:13):
And again, I had no idea thathe did that Like, when he did
that, it really it really caughtme off guard because he was
like hitting me up.
He's like look, it's a guy onthe radio and his name is Rick
Party.
He didn't say it like that, buthe was like this is man on the
radio.
His name is Rick Party and mebeing the researcher that I am,

(23:37):
I Googled this man.
I was like uh-uh.

Speaker 5 (23:40):
You Googled everything.

Speaker 8 (23:42):
Who does Ding Dong have me meet?

Speaker 5 (23:45):
in who is?

Speaker 1 (23:45):
this guy, and then, as I'm, reading.

Speaker 8 (23:48):
it was like Voice of ESPN Sports Center radio Chicago
legend Rick Party and I waslike what?
And if I could curse, bleep.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
What the bleep who?

Speaker 8 (24:05):
is this guy?
And I was like, oh, that'sprobably not even him.
Like Ding Dong probably met animpersonator.
Like what the fuck this?
Is an avatar and then he cameto a show and when he came to
the show, it happened to be oneof the best shows.

(24:25):
We had other celebrity guestsIf you guys are familiar with
Mims Sean Mims in this space, hecame to the show.
This is why I'm hot.
This is why I'm hot.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
He came.

Speaker 8 (24:38):
Yeah, he's a good friend of mine.
He came to the show.
Dj Epps was there.
We had so many people there andRick happened to be at the show
.
And after the show Rick waslike oh you know, I caught the
tell.
End of the show was a greatshow.
He was like send me an aircheck.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
Yo, I didn't know what an air check was.

Speaker 5 (25:01):
I didn't know, explain him what an air check is
.

Speaker 8 (25:04):
Explain what an air check is.

Speaker 5 (25:07):
So an air check is really just a snippet of like,
say, if you have a four hourshow, it's the entire show
without the music.
Just, we want to hear what yousound like, your personality,
how you evoke emotions, how youintroduce records, that kind of
stuff.

Speaker 8 (25:20):
Oh right, right, right, like Netflix commercial
free, right.
So my father a littlebackground about me.
My father was actually a radiohost.
He was a radio host for anumber of years.
I'm from North Carolina, hegraduated from the University

(25:41):
well, shaw University in NorthCarolina and that university is
an HBCU and it was one of thefirst HBCUs in that area to have
an independent radio station.
And so my father, in my eyes, was a radio legend, right, and I
never really got into radio, like it was always around me,

(26:05):
always knew my father was on theradio.
My father has a reallyelectrifying personality.
People listen to him when hespeak and I never thought that I
had that commanding power likemy father.
Like it's really hard to live inthe shadows of a parent.
If they are successful, right, they're out there, they're doing

(26:25):
big things, and it's reallyhard to live up to that.
And so I just never eventouched it.
I never thought I had what ittook.
And Rick Party was like send mean air check.
So y'all already know.
I didn't know what an air checkwas and so I said, ok, let me

(26:45):
go ahead and Google this thing, right, google is your friend.
So I downloaded a softwareAdobe Audition.
I downloaded.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Adobe Audition.

Speaker 8 (26:56):
I looked at Google, I looked at YouTube, I studied
the air checks that I saw Like Iliterally emailed him and I was
like I'm sorry, I'm working outsome sound stuff.
That wasn't true, sorry.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
I was like I didn't lie, I was really.

Speaker 8 (27:13):
I was really re-recording my voice over and
over again, trying to make itperfect and I wouldn't
necessarily say that.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
She went on to teach me what a sound check was.
After that, I mean an air check, excuse me, right after that.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
So I just want to say that she took care of it.
She didn't tell me she didn'tknow what it was.

Speaker 3 (27:31):
I was like.

Speaker 8 (27:33):
But let me tell you about it.
Let me tell you what it is.
And so I was re-recording myvoice over and over and over
again.
And I don't consider myself aperfectionist, but what I know
is I know what my best is.
And if I'm never giving, if Idon't give my best, I know when
I do something I could do better.
Oh, I could do better than that.

(27:53):
Oh, I can do better than that.
And it's not that I'm reachingfor perfection.
I'm reaching for something Icould be proud of, and I wanted
to give Rick something that Icould be proud of.
So, to my creators out there, create to your taste, create to
what makes you feel good aboutyourself.
Nobody else, because at the endof the day, you will never

(28:16):
reach perfection.
Nothing will ever be perfect, but the best art ever is
something that is imperfect.
If you're familiar with MCVUnplugs, which was one of the
best series ever, if you're amusic lover, it was so imperfect
.
It was not a studio session, itwas people's voices cracking,
it was emotion, and Lauren HillsUnplugged, mtv Unplugged.

(28:41):
If you've never heard thatbefore, go listen to that,
because I listen to that everytime I'm in a mood.
I'm in a mood, feels and stufflike that.
But I say this to say I handedhim the most imperfect air check
Right and he called me and waslike I want to work with you.
He heard something and the mostimperfect thing and that and

(29:07):
what that means is that don'tdon't try to be perfect.
Give it all that you've got andyou never know if somebody
might see something in you orhear something in you and
they're like you, the one.
You're the one that I want towork with.
You're the one.
You got it.
You got what it takes and itmay take you doing that aircheck
or or drawing that picture orDoing that voiceover or whatever

(29:30):
it is that you, if you're inentertainment, recording that
song, you might have to do thata hundred Times and it won't be
perfect, but on that one hundredand one time, when you like
this is it, and somebody hearsyou or sees you and they like I
Want to work with you, you'll belike it was all worth it and
that that was my experience.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
Yeah that's awesome.
I love that Love about what youjust point out.
There's so much there but needyyou point out.
But what I do, I think, isreally important to that when
people to get to is this isn'tsomething just happened
overnight for You've beenpulling in.

(30:12):
This is something you've beenaiming towards, you've been
working towards and you're evendoing it in Horizons, because it
was something you wanted to do.
You just never knew when thatconnection was going to happen.
But it happened here and we'rejust blessed to be a part of
that story, knowing all of youguys.
So I thank you so much.
I want to encourage you guysdon't give up.
And you know, I know we runinto issues here in horizons.

(30:32):
We're always working withhorizon bugs and stuff like that
.
But this is part of this newtechnology.
But this new technologies openup some amazing opportunities.
I mean we've connected with someamazing people that we've never
.
We're actually our businessworks of people here that we've
Met and brought into horizonsand that never would have
happened without this platformhere.
I mean my wife is actuallyworking on Writing a help and

(30:54):
put together a whole publishing,a whole book on Amazon
publication and all this stuffwith amazing author because of
it all came from here, from atour.
The people wasn't even guess.
I just gave them a tour andthat connection and turn it all.
So I mean, don't give up onwhat your dreams are, just keep
putting in that hard work and doit because you love doing it,
and just wait for that rightopportunity.
Now, rick, I would love to askyou, like I want to.

(31:16):
I want you to share your sideof the story and how this all
came.

Speaker 8 (31:18):
Okay, brittany's got her finger up, so yeah, I'm
gonna let Bernie I do want tosay.
I do want to say one otherthing.
I see some people in theaudience that I want to give a
shout out to Presby and HarlsMac Harls is an incredible
artist, musical artists here inHorizon worlds, and they've been
part of my meta family and whatI love so much about Harls and

(31:41):
Presby is that you know they'vealways been some super hard
workers and they're part of thesampler team.
So, like the sampler over Overat VR chat, we do the sampler
and it's we're on the sixthseason now.
I host with boo bangers, but Ijust really wanted to give a
shout out to Harls Mac y'all.

(32:02):
Make sure you stream his musicon all music platforms Spotify,
apple music like he, he's reallyhe.
If anybody in his room reallydeserves a shout out, it's.
It's gonna be that guy up there, so I just want to give.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
Rick, let me know, I get first off from you, from
being in the entertainmentindustry and ding dong comes you
if this, with this you knowthis person you don't know of in
the metaverse.
I Would like you to share fromyour point of view, your heart,
to actually even step in hereand come, come and see what,
what he's talking about, becausethere's not everybody does that

(32:40):
.
So for those that's maybe in inentertainment already, that are
hearing about horizons, are inhere, what would you want to say
to them about giving somebody ashot like this to kind of reach
out, like what, what pulledyour heart to do that?

Speaker 5 (32:54):
Yeah, um, from from the inception with me, a guy
helped me.
When I was a kid I was callinginto the radio station every day
making a dedication, and hetook the time to talk to me and
I didn't know I guess in theback of my mind I wanted to
become a radio personality andthis guy took the time out to
say to me, like, why are youhome every day?
I told him I was sick andthat's why I'm not in school.

(33:15):
He's that, get back in school.
And that from that moment hebecame my, my mentor and I met
so many people like this.
I didn't have a father figurein in in my life at the time.
So every young man and youngperson I met, I gave them the
same time that this man gave me.
Oh, boston, that was always mygoal, always my goal to go along

(33:35):
and help people.
So when I got the phone callfrom I mean the text from from
Ding Dong about Brittany I, Ijust like helping people because
, like I said earlier, they'reactually helping me as well.
So when I, when I Went to hershow, I was just moved by Her

(33:56):
virtual presence, just the wayshe she carried herself, her,
her sound, her ability to toresearch and just pull off a
great show, and that's somethingthat that I've always Loved
about talent, the hard work thatthey put in for me.
You know you, I guess you canfind a talent there diamond

(34:17):
doesn't but someone who actuallyloves her work and Puts it in,
that's very rare, and I saw thatin her and, just like she said,
when she created the demo, itwas imperfect, but I I heard
that one thing that mattered tome.
But I also heard and and andsaw, if you will, a person that
reminded me of myself and andthat was one of the things that

(34:42):
just really attracted me to herand I said from there we could,
you know, whatever, whatever itdoesn't exist in her mind,
because I already know whatshe's gonna be able to do.
We're gonna build this together.
We're gonna build and, you know, grows, grow together.
And after Ding Dong evenintroduced Brittany to me it was
then El Michelle over here shesaid hey, I want you to meet

(35:03):
Brittany.
I said, well, guess what thisguy, ding Dong, told me about
her?
And she says she's awesome.

Speaker 1 (35:07):
You need to come in.

Speaker 5 (35:08):
You need to come in, you need to come in, she's at an
event.
So Everybody just kept sayingBrittany cherry and all the
roads pointed to Brittany cherryand that was it so working,
working with Brittany, it's,it's been a, it's been amazing
because I get to see, you knowmyself and her, like she, she's
kind of at the beginning Of hercareer and I'm kind of, you know

(35:33):
, phase and out a little bit.
I've got, I've got so much morein me and it's it's simply
because I've been working withher, like you, you have
literally you've, you'vebreathed life into me.

(35:54):
So you.
Yeah, you make it exciting andand my goal is to it's to really
just pour everything I havedone to you and just Allow you
to just conquer the world andjust sit back and go, yeah.

Speaker 3 (36:13):
I've been crying the whole time.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
I just got this emoji today, so this is for you guys.
Listen the podcast.
It was a heart emoji, so youdon't get.
But no, you know, I love thatRick because and you are, I mean
you you love to give back.
I mean, when we had Rick onhere gosh was over a year ago we
had you, had you on here toshare your story, and I remember

(36:41):
afterwards you said In reallife, my name is Brian, real
life, and he's like Brian If youhave anything, anything I can
do to help you guys, let me know.
And it wasn't for like a while.
I reached out to him I said, rick, Would you be all willing
to help us out, do an intro andoutro for the show, cuz I'm
always trying to do all that andyou're like I would absolutely
love to.
So when you guys hear the intro, the Shows and the outros of

(37:02):
the music, that's Rick party.
You know, you didn't have to dothat.

Speaker 5 (37:09):
Yeah, I think what really shocked you too was the
big invoice that I sent you toin the end.
That was huge, that was a bigshot you guys you guys talk
about an air check.

Speaker 1 (37:20):
He told me it was the cash app.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
It's.

Speaker 5 (37:32):
It's my voice, it's my voice and and Brian, you, you
gave me a Platform to share mystory and that really meant a
lot for me.
And when I say that to people,I'm here and I've probably said
it to you know each of you thatthat have spoken to me there's
no such thing as too much.
You can't call me too much.
You can ask a stupid question.

Speaker 8 (37:55):
Call me.
I definitely call him in themiddle.
What you don't, what you'redoing.

Speaker 5 (38:01):
So that's it.
I mean listen people like me,we need stuff to do right?
I work from home now I don'twork in a physical studio at a
radio station anymore.
I have a studio built in myhome and I'm just, I'm blessed
man, I'm.
It's something I've alwayswanted.
Thank you, lord, for the the.
What do you call the thing that?

Speaker 8 (38:23):
for two years oh.

Speaker 5 (38:26):
Oh, oh, pandemic.
Yeah, I try to forget about it.
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (38:36):
What I love about you , rick, too, is, like you know,
I've heard stories talk about, like you know, when you're, when
people are down the valley andyou've been there before, like
we, like you said, like you, youwere there before you, we were
at the starting point, we allstarted the same place yeah, is
that through time, you, you get,you got higher up on.
You know, sometimes let's justput it this way you might be in
a valley and someone else hasbeen in a valley, is now up on

(38:57):
top of the mountain.
But the problem is we can getinto is, if we're on top of the
mountain, we can be shouting outto the person of values that
you need to do this, this, this, and you can get up here.
Like you need some water, youneed to get some water.
But instead what you do is youkind of come down and you give
them some water and help, showthem like, hey, like you try to
help them get up that mountain, and that's a huge piece to what
we can do together in Real lifeand through horizon worlds.

(39:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (39:24):
Go ahead because you know I'm older and I may forget.
No, no, that that's so true.
Listen, my mother said to meyou know when, when you marry
and when you, when you have apartner that's gonna be with you
forever, be with someone thatcan take care of you when you
can't take care of yourself.

(39:45):
And when she passed away has itbeen four years now On on on
the obituary it said if you loveme, feed my sheep.
So if you know that, that'sthat's how I, that's how she
lived, that's how I live.

(40:05):
I take care of people that notonly will take care of me, but
will take care of other people.

Speaker 1 (40:12):
So that's a man.

Speaker 8 (40:14):
Amen, yes, and Rick.
Rick is absolutely exactly whohe says he is.

Speaker 5 (40:23):
I think I'll say something else.

Speaker 8 (40:24):
No, no, and it's rare that you meet people who are
exactly who they say they are.
They show up authentically.
I have a joke that I don't.
I always tell the truth, and itmay sound funny, but it's I
really.
If you ask me a question, I'mgoing to tell you the truth.

Speaker 2 (40:45):
Oh yeah, I can attest to it.
I'm like hey, what do you thinkIs she like?

Speaker 4 (40:48):
no, I will tell the truth.

Speaker 8 (40:51):
And and Rick posted a really good quote that you guys
should check out on his page isthat it was a quote about
friends and it says you know thefriend who pushes you, the
friend who tells you aboutyourself, the friend that you
don't like because they hold youaccountable, the friend that is
going to tell you the truth.
You may not like them in theshort term, but you'll grow to

(41:11):
love them in the long term.
Get you some people around youthat's not going to coddle you,
that's going to tell you thetruth.
And you know it's beenunfortunate that I've lost
friendships for telling thetruth, but I won't apologize for
it.
I'm always going to push peopleI care about to be great

(41:32):
because I see the potential inthem.
And you know Rick is feeding thesheep.
You know he's feeding.
He's feeding.
He's feeding into people, he'spouring into people and I see
that in him and I want to do thesame to other people.
I want to help people, Like, ifI have the resources to do it,
if I have, you know, the breathin my body to keep going, and to

(41:54):
help people.
That's what I want to do Now.
My help may show up likeaccountability.
It may show up like puttingyour feet to your fire, but
sometimes you got to do that toreally help people, because the
help that they need is not.
You're doing great Sleedy Likethe internet is going to tell
you the help they need might be.
You need to get your butt upand work and you know, like and

(42:20):
I'm not going to sit here andsugarcoat you know the
entertainment industry oranything like that, anything in
life Everything is hard y'all.
Yeah, yeah, look at gas pricesand rent and everything.
Like I'm your homegirl and I'msaying like I'm not a celebrity.
Everything is hard.
Ok, don't make it harder foryourself by lying to yourself.

(42:40):
You know what I'm saying, like,if you know there's work that
you need to do, get up and dothat work.
Get up and put the work in.
I've lost nights of sleep behindthis.
It didn't happen where it waslike an introduction and then
boom, like I had to convincethis man that I really wanted to
do what I said I was doing.
That was really about it inorder to get the result that

(43:02):
I've gotten.
And I want you to take that.
Don't make the connection andthen get slack when somebody
introduced you to somebody whocan change your life.
Take that introduction and getto work.
It's not.
It's not it's not a it's not atime to slack off.
It's a time to really crank itup.
You work as hard as you everdid in your life when you meet

(43:24):
someone who can change your life.

Speaker 5 (43:27):
So now Brian before you go next.
You have to tell them, like seea couple of things now for
people who don't know and Idon't know if you're going to
get to this or not, but Brittanyfor meeting me on social I mean
not social media but in VRshe's now heard with me on on
Odyssey Media's biggest radiostation in Chicago, which is one

(43:47):
of four through jams to throwback hip hop station at Lover
Does the night show, we do themidday show and she does the
social media rewind and we justhave a great time.
But one of the biggesthighlights happened about two
months ago.
You got to tell them about that.

Speaker 8 (44:02):
Yes, tell us so.
Rick and I were guests, hostson the Big Tigger Morning Show
down in Atlanta V one oh three.
If you guys are familiar withBig Tigger, you know you might
remember him from BC.

Speaker 5 (44:19):
He he's like I kind of a vendor or something or the
rap rap city rap city thebasement.

Speaker 8 (44:24):
He's really, you know , a big, huge part of the
culture down there in Atlanta, and Atlanta is the number one
urban station.
So we were, we were down there.
I mean the fact that I gotexposure to, I mean millions of
listeners since I've started todo radio is is insane.

(44:46):
But I think it also is justlike super cool, because I
remember a comment that Rick hadmade.
I got to Atlanta, I got lost,y'all trying to get to the
station, but that's another, that's another show and it's
tricky.

Speaker 1 (45:00):
I got lost, y'all it's another show.

Speaker 8 (45:02):
But when I got there, Rick was like you, so calm,
you're so cool.
Let me tell you something whenyou've been preparing for
something your whole life andyou know what you want to do and
you in that position, there isnothing that is going to faze
you.
You're like I am exactly whereI should be.
It feels right.
So if you're ever questioningin life where you should be,

(45:24):
when calm comes over you, that'swhere you belong.
When you're calm.
That is where it is.

Speaker 6 (45:32):
It's good and you did it, peace and what you're doing
.

Speaker 8 (45:36):
That is where you belong, and it was.
It was a huge, it was huge, itwas huge, it's huge, I think he
was expecting me to like docartwheels at a radio station.
But I did that inside my insidemyself, but you didn't see it
out, yeah.

Speaker 5 (45:49):
That's all, and after , after the show, the program
director, who's one of thebiggest program directors in the
country.
Can you hear me?

Speaker 8 (45:56):
You know I can't get that again, oh yeah.

Speaker 5 (45:58):
Oh yeah.
So after the show, one of thebiggest program directors in the
country, who programs at radiostation, you know he met with us
.
We did two, two days right.
We did two days right.

Speaker 8 (46:09):
Did y'all hear him.

Speaker 2 (46:10):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think it might be me.

Speaker 8 (46:12):
It might be me.
Oh, is your battery home?
Ok, oh yeah, go ahead.
I don't know, I'm not here, sowe did.
Can you hear me?

Speaker 5 (46:20):
We did two shows and she met the program director and
he's, he asked her he goes.
I think he asked her has sheever worked in radio before?
And as she said, well, I justdo the segment with Rick, but
I've never worked at aterrestrial radio station he's
like, wow, that's pretty good.

Speaker 1 (46:39):
So he was pretty amazed yeah.

Speaker 2 (46:42):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (46:43):
I love that I love that.

Speaker 3 (46:45):
That's the creation right.

Speaker 5 (46:46):
He's off, yeah, so so , just in case you didn't
believe me or Ding.

Speaker 2 (46:49):
Dong or Elmichelle, you know you had a program
director.

Speaker 8 (46:53):
Well, here's what I didn't believe, anybody y'all,
and that's, and that's let metell you something.
Let me tell you something.
That's the curse of the artist, that's the curse of the person
who's a creative.
You don't believe that you'regood to anybody.
So you, you don't believe itbecause you know in your heart
there's so much more that youhave to give, there's so much
work that you have to do, butyou don't get to experience

(47:14):
yourself from somebody else'svantage point.
And here I am experiencingmyself from somebody else's
vantage point and they'retelling me that I'm great.
You know what?
And it was Ding Dong, I have togive it to him.
And Elmichelle and RickElmichelle, I used to call her
up y'all.
I didn't even go get emotional,I ain't going to do it to you.
I used to call her up about intears y'all, because I was.

(47:37):
I was pouring out everythingthat I had into this, this VR,
the VR radio station, baystrockradio.
I was pouring everything intoone of four point three jams
with with Rick.
I was pouring everything.
Oh, mind you y'all, I stillhave a nine to five.
Ok, like, understand thatnothing about this is like coast

(48:01):
.
You know what I'm saying?
It's still nine to five.
It's still family obligations.
It's still, you know, my owndigital station.
It was still, you know, workingwith Rick and getting to know
Rick and Ding Dong.
Like things, we're human.
So there was times where I waslike, y'all, I want to give up.
I don't think I can do this, Idon't think I'm good enough.

(48:22):
Something clicked one daybetween talking to Elmichelle,
ding Dong and Rick where I wokeup and I was like hold up, I'm
not sick, I can do this, I'msupposed to do this.

Speaker 2 (48:35):
I'm exactly, it was a good thing.
It was a good thing because youalready know me.
I was like yeah.

Speaker 8 (48:45):
Yeah almost, you almost slipped up.

Speaker 4 (48:48):
It's good because I actually and I'm talking to you
about this I saw that change.
I watched that moment happen, that's all.
It was incredible.
Cool Just to see the differencebetween am I good enough to
who's going to tell me I'm not?

Speaker 2 (49:00):
Right, who's going to tell me boo?

Speaker 5 (49:05):
No one knew, brian, that when, when she came to the
radio station with me, atlanta,I said listen.
I told her a couple of days inthe advance is the biggest radio
station in Atlanta, probablyone of the biggest hip hop
stations in the country.
Can you be there.

Speaker 3 (49:19):
No, I'm pressing, you got to be there.

Speaker 5 (49:21):
She drove five hours from where she lives.
She got in a little bit aftermidnight.
She probably slept about threehours.

Speaker 1 (49:29):
She was sweet, she slept at all, she was sweet, she
was sweet.

Speaker 8 (49:33):
Michelle knows I was on the phone with her at like
two o'clock in the morning.
I was like I'm not going to beable to sleep.
I need to be at the station atfour o'clock in the morning.
If I go to sleep, I am notgoing to make it to the station.

Speaker 5 (49:44):
I did not sleep.
I was on the phone with ElmMichelle.
I was like I don't know whereyour girl is.

Speaker 2 (49:49):
I don't know what's going on here, but she got here
and she showed up and showed out.

Speaker 5 (49:56):
Listen, when someone gives you an opportunity, there
are no excuses.
Either you want it or you don'twant it.
She wanted, she showed up, andhere she is celebrating her.
That's it, no weakness.

Speaker 3 (50:06):
I love it.
I think it's so funny.
I think it's so funny, likewhen she's like late or whatever
he's like Elm Michelle, where'syour girl?
No, our problem.

Speaker 8 (50:19):
I'm Elm Michelle's girl when I'm late, but when I'm
on time it's oh, you guys, youguys got to hear bring your
cherry on.

Speaker 3 (50:28):
That is so funny.

Speaker 7 (50:30):
Who do you guys want to collab?

Speaker 2 (50:31):
with in the future Like who do you like go to
collab in the future.

Speaker 7 (50:36):
Good question.

Speaker 8 (50:37):
Go ahead, Ding Dong Any everyone for what we do.

Speaker 2 (50:40):
Oh, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 8 (50:42):
Really.

Speaker 4 (50:45):
Oh, that's tough, I'm actually you know what, and I
don't think that I'm trying tobe funny, but, honestly, the two
of them.

Speaker 2 (50:55):
For sure, like to be honest.
It's good to know, it's awesome.

Speaker 4 (50:57):
So sweet.

Speaker 8 (51:02):
My answer is not going to be that sweet.
I'm sorry, but I love you, butI love you still.
So I grew up, you know I'm awoman of color and I didn't grow
up seeing a lot of women ofcolor in the media space when I
was a young a young child, andsomeone that I always looked up

(51:22):
to was MTV VJ Ananda Lewis, because I got a chance to see
what a black woman in media andinterviewing and in the culture
and she knew hip hop, she waseducated, she was beautiful and
I looked at her and I was likethat's going to be me when I

(51:43):
grow up.
I don't know how, so if I couldever sit down and collaborate
or talk to Ananda Lewis, itwould make my life.
So that's, that's mine.
Let's go find her.
I know.

Speaker 3 (51:56):
We're going to make that happen.

Speaker 5 (52:00):
Well, I know a demo.
Do you remember a demo?
She did the show with him onBET, the talk show.

Speaker 8 (52:09):
I think you know free because I could talk.
I mean free is free is on mylist.
Okay, yeah, all right, there wego.

Speaker 5 (52:15):
She's from.
She's from Boston too.
So yeah, my collaboration.
I've been talking aboutbuilding my, my show, my team
and I've reached out to DingDong and I've talked to To
Brittany and she whispered toDing Dong, and Ding Dong is just
such a he's such a.
Amazingly creative person.
I mean the questions that heasks on his the show that he

(52:38):
hosts the video that he putstogether, I mean, his mind is to
be picked.

Speaker 8 (52:43):
It's crazy.
Yeah, he's so crazy creativeand he doesn't even know it.
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (52:49):
No it and then El Michelle.
I mean listen, she's been apart of everything that I've
been doing, so listen, even ifit's my radio show, she's she's
been my, my, my partner invoiceover and I, just I, just,
not only she just incrediblytalented.
Yes just like us, like sheloves people.

(53:11):
Yeah, and those are the peopleI want to keep by my side.
I want to keep my pocket asclose as I can and just continue
to collaborate so we can helppeople.

Speaker 8 (53:25):
I want to work with everybody in this room.
How about that?
I?

Speaker 5 (53:29):
Want to work with the lights too, and the speaker.

Speaker 3 (53:39):
I'm glad you had your answer.
I'm glad you said what you said, because you know you put it
out there.
Let's see what happens.

Speaker 8 (53:45):
Yeah, I'm putting a Nanda Lewis free All of all of
the black media og girly y'allcome come find me.

Speaker 1 (53:58):
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Is there any person, alive ornot alive?
I guess that's the two optionsIn history that you could
interview on your show.
Who would it be?

Speaker 5 (54:08):
Oh, man, muhammad Ali .
For me, that quote that I wastrying to get out earlier, guys,
he said if your heart is impure, you can't be great, and that,
just that, stuck with me.
Muhammad Ali was a man who whofought the US government.
He didn't want to go fightbecause he didn't feel like that

(54:30):
was his fight, and he foughtfor civil rights and for so many
reasons, and While he was, youknow, braga doshas, it was all
for marketing.
Mm-hmm and as he got you, as hegot an older he, he wrote a book
and it's called the soul of abutterfly.
And that book touched me somuch because he talked about how

(54:52):
, how much he changed and howevery experience and every
person in his life meantsomething to him, and doesn't
matter how big or small they are.
And it was just.
That was the first book that II literally I just read all the
way through without stopping go,and I just always keep it by my
, my bedside, and I said, ifthat's one person I could

(55:14):
interview, yeah, I, I would wantto.
And I never did.
And when that man passed away,oh my, I never met him but it
hurt so badly.

Speaker 2 (55:23):
Yeah, that's a great, I leave yeah.

Speaker 5 (55:26):
He just loved people, he just loved people, yeah.

Speaker 8 (55:31):
So I think my answer might actually really surprise
people.
Lucille ball is the person and,and the reason why it would be
Lucille ball is because here'shere's some fun facts that you
guys may not know about Lucilleball.
She, first of all, she was thefirst female comedian to display

(55:53):
interracial marriage ontelevision.
I mean, you guys think abouthow revolutionary that was back
then.
She was the first comedian touse three-angle cameras on her
show she was.
You know, she was the firstwoman on television that was
pregnant.
She she revolutionizedtelevision and media for women.

(56:18):
She fought for Women being ableto have the rights to own a
media company she owned, sheco-owned Desi Lou productions
with her husband.
So when I, when I look at likea revolutionary and I'm we're
talking about in the 50s yeah, you know I mean like that.
That was crazy.
I was a I love Lucy fanatic.

(56:39):
I had the lunchbox, the clockand it was.
It was a very odd thing alittle black girl from North
Carolina, you know, watching Ilove Lucy and I saw, I saw
something on the screen that wasmagical.
She could make people laugh andI think Sometimes I'm
unintentionally funny, but Ilove.

(57:01):
I love to put a smile onpeople's face and make them
laugh and make them think.
And it would be, it would beLucy.

Speaker 5 (57:09):
I don't have any connections to her, so I.

Speaker 1 (57:20):
Can you want to bring up that mic up one more time.
Let's see if this works.
I'm gonna try to reset.
I don't know if I'll let me doit from here.
So Go ahead, she hand.
Let's see if you can get inthere.

Speaker 6 (57:31):
Yeah, I do.

Speaker 1 (57:34):
Okay, all right.
So ding dong, you go ahead andgive your answer, and then we'll
go ahead and go to see him.

Speaker 5 (57:38):
That's first, I think , you're gonna not ain't no you.

Speaker 4 (57:46):
I would say Dana White.
I'm just intrigued by kind ofwhat he's done with, with sports
in general, and and just theway his brain works is
intriguing.
That's especially being that youknow he talks about being a
doorman and then just being likeman, I'm done, like I'm
finished, I gotta go chase hisdream.
And then you know, all theseyears later he was.
He's like the guy thateverybody's like he's gonna fail

(58:09):
because he's doing somethingand nobody gets behind.
And Fast forward 25 years andhe's got one of the the highest
Value companies in the world.
So very intriguing and I'd loveto see what, what, like, what
made him go past that adversity, after all those years of people
saying you're not gonna be ableto do this, like nobody's ever
gonna sign off on this stuff.
So and he's doing it again.

(58:29):
Those of you who don't know.

Speaker 8 (58:33):
You can literally do anything you put your mind.
So there is, there is no, can'tnot, won't, stop there, there's
no.
The answer no doesn't exist.
It's do it differently, findanother way, ask a different
question, open another door.
Um, though, that's what youneed to say to yourself, and
Dana White is a prime example offind another way.

(58:55):
If 20 is 20 people on thestreet, tell you know, keep
going, because all you need isone yes.

Speaker 3 (59:03):
Yeah, thank you for that question.

Speaker 2 (59:05):
Good soldier good soldier, always, always.

Speaker 4 (59:07):
You know support anybody?

Speaker 3 (59:09):
Oh see who we got, we've got.
Oh, thank you, Sean.

Speaker 5 (59:31):
No, question what they can hear me.
Oh, I'm sorry.
Yes, yes.

Speaker 2 (59:41):
What's your overall goal?
With everything that you do inlife, like you are, you see
yourself at the very top, butwe're like what's the very top
for what you do it right now?

Speaker 8 (59:52):
Okay, that's a good question.
Anybody want to go first?

Speaker 5 (59:56):
Um, for me, I've done any and everything I've ever
wanted to do and For me it'sjust.
It's just pouring, pouring intopeople and make sure that they
continue the job to just pour inmore people.
That's it.
It's good, it's, it's.
It's not a lot, it's justreally that simple, yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:00:17):
I've been.
I've been called the Angela Eand the metaverse by myself.
I call myself that, um.
So I, you know, I look at hercareer.
Um, she started off, you know,or, in radio.
She started.
She was, you know, working withWu Tang clan and all that.

(01:00:38):
And One thing I will say that Iadmire about Angela E is that
she's just not a radiopersonality, she's a business
owner.
She, you know, she's apodcaster, she's doing stuff for
the community.
Um, so I, I see myself notnecessarily having her same
career, but I think that if Icontinue to not I think what I

(01:01:00):
just say about these words Iknow that when I continue to do
and do what I'm doing andcontinue to pour into myself and
Listen to those who are givingme guidance, that I could have a
career bigger than hers becausewhy not?
Right.

Speaker 3 (01:01:17):
Britney, this is kind of off the subject, but do you
know a lot about Wu Tang clan?

Speaker 8 (01:01:23):
You know what?
Let me, I'll be honest with you.
No, but what I do know about, well, I'm going to be honest.
But what I do know about themis that they're super.
I mean, we're celebrating 50years of hip hop, so they're an
iconic group.
And if you ask me right now,you put me on the stop because
you know D-Dawn like to ask alot of these random questions

(01:01:46):
like name all the members of theWu Tang clan and post that on
social media and I'm like yeah,y'all looking stupid.

Speaker 4 (01:01:52):
That's not what I asked.
I just asked what.

Speaker 8 (01:01:56):
I couldn't name all the members of Wu Tang clan, but
do you have Ms Killer Bee?

Speaker 3 (01:02:00):
You got a, you got a something about Wu Tang clan.
Yes, I don't know much aboutthem either but people always
ask us if that's where KillerBee came from, was Blue Wu Tang
clan.

Speaker 8 (01:02:12):
So we're wondering like did they have a song named
Killer Bee, like what I need toGoogle it, okay.

Speaker 2 (01:02:21):
So I'm welcome to the Wu.
Hold on, let me put the Wu Tang.

Speaker 5 (01:02:24):
Yeah, we got to get the clean version for you guys.

Speaker 3 (01:02:28):
So we don't have to have the clean version.
Rick, it's all right.

Speaker 5 (01:02:32):
Okay, all right.

Speaker 8 (01:02:34):
That was a good question.

Speaker 5 (01:02:36):
That would be super dope though how about you?

Speaker 4 (01:02:40):
D-Dawn.
What do you want to see at?

Speaker 2 (01:02:41):
your highest.

Speaker 4 (01:02:42):
I would say and I've talked to Bernie about this
privately I envy the positionthat Rick is in and I think I
think, generally speaking, it'ssort of a situation where he's
he's sort of like an overseer.
He gets to be a teacher and sitback and watch people flourish
with the things that he's giventhem, and I envy that Honestly.
I think that that's such aprecarious position of being and

(01:03:03):
something that I would aspiremy entire life to get to, to
where I've done enough, and mygoal is to just give it back now
and see the next generationflourish.

Speaker 2 (01:03:12):
That's what's up.
I wish y'all nothing but thebest.
I look up to y'all when itcomes to the media and the
entertainment industry.

Speaker 8 (01:03:20):
Y'all keep on killing shit.

Speaker 2 (01:03:22):
What is that?

Speaker 5 (01:03:24):
That's a real voice.
I love your voice.

Speaker 2 (01:03:29):
She has a big voice.

Speaker 1 (01:03:30):
We are going to do a couple more questions and if
some people want to line up,just let you guys know.
After the show we're going tobring everybody up so we can
grab a selfie together.
And, rick, I want to say, likeyou know, I actually I love that
you're giving back and you'rehelping other people.
You know, fill that spot foryou to move on to.
I showed my wife I have to kindof throw her into the bus right
here I showed her a video ofyou.

(01:03:52):
She's like I don't think I'veseen Rick Pardes.
I said, oh, here, let me go tohis Instagram.
She's like he's a lot youngerthan I thought.
Wait a minute, I see the grayhair in his beard.
I was like, okay, he's a young.

Speaker 8 (01:04:05):
He's a young old man.

Speaker 5 (01:04:07):
She calls me old man all the time.
She calls me old man all thetime.

Speaker 6 (01:04:11):
She's not old, you're just a high level wizard at
this point.

Speaker 3 (01:04:14):
Exactly, you're not going to be my friend.

Speaker 5 (01:04:18):
This is why she's my friend.
She's honest.

Speaker 8 (01:04:21):
He is old, but he is also a genie.
He's a wizard, he's a master,and y'all need to start
respecting your elders.
Okay, I've got something to sayabout that.

Speaker 2 (01:04:33):
His name.

Speaker 3 (01:04:34):
I've got something to say about that, rick.
So I just recently read a bookby Dick Van Dyke and, as you may
or may not know, he's like 94,I think yes.
And he said that you cannotcall yourself old until you've
surpassed the human limit oflife, which is basically about
100.
So you can't call yourself olduntil you're about 100.

(01:04:57):
So don't be saying people aretelling you the truth if you're
old because you're not old.

Speaker 8 (01:05:05):
Well thank you.
I was doing something right, because he was just on the mass
finger.

Speaker 5 (01:05:11):
I saw him on the mass finger.
Did he actually perform?

Speaker 8 (01:05:14):
No, he was performing .

Speaker 3 (01:05:16):
He was singing underneath the mass.
Dick Van Dyke dances every day.

Speaker 2 (01:05:20):
Is that amazing?

Speaker 1 (01:05:23):
He's crazy.
All right, shahan, go ahead.
Oh sorry, that's all right, thanks for joining us again.

Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
I did watch Dick Van.

Speaker 5 (01:05:31):
Dyke show.
He just danced in the beginningof the show every day, maybe
because we're too young to seeit.

Speaker 8 (01:05:36):
I do know, dick Van Dyke, are you guys going?

Speaker 5 (01:05:39):
to hear me Dick.

Speaker 6 (01:05:41):
Van Dyke, anyway, chimneys.

Speaker 2 (01:05:45):
Chimneys.
Thank you guys.

Speaker 6 (01:05:47):
So much for the show.
I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This is actually the first showI've been able to attend Harry
Kilderby.
I loved all everything I saw, Iheard, saw, I guess.
Yeah, it was wonderful.
I really enjoyed theinformation.
I really enjoyed the technicalquestion when it comes to trying
to get you know, make contentand get it out there, as you

(01:06:07):
know, for good voiceoverrecording, if not also as well
as singing like because, forinstance, the internal
microphone in the Oculusapparently is not too good that
I can't really figure out whereit is, so I can't like mess with
how far away I need to get whenI get louder or higher or
whatever, and sometimes it'llbreak up on me.
So I'm looking for a goodheadset that I can attach to the

(01:06:32):
Oculus that will actually usethe external microphone, because
as it is I have some headphonesand they connect and it has an
external mic, but for somereason the Oculus will not
recognize it will not use theexternal mic.
And I've heard there are some, some that I can get.
I've been told a few options.
I was wondering if you guys hadsome recommendations for that,

(01:06:53):
for looking into something likethat to to help start create
content.

Speaker 1 (01:06:57):
I don't think there's anything on the Oculus that
will work on an external mic.

Speaker 7 (01:07:01):
I'm not talking outside to it right now.

Speaker 1 (01:07:02):
I mean, if you're doing it through the Oculus
headset, that's the only mic youcan use.
I know Arkane's looking atpulling his apart and trying to
figure out a way to wire one in,but as far as the research
we've done, there's no mic thatplugs in.
You can only plug in earbuds oryou can hear, so you can use
separate speakers but not aseparate mic.
So but if you're going to bedoing things for that recording,
there's a lot of mics that youcould use from you know I could.

(01:07:23):
I could send you links.
In the description below I'mgoing to be talking about the
mic from you know I could.
I could send you links to somethat that we use in production
and you guys probably have thesame, but when it comes to the
Oculus, it's just prettybasically, you've got to do that
.

Speaker 6 (01:07:36):
From what I heard, I talked.
I've been talking to a lot ofpeople.
I've talked to community guides.
I've been researching online.
I've talked to chat GBT and fromwhat most people are saying,
like if you get some headphones,a headset that is specifically
made to like work with a console, or there are a few other ones
that have like mic amplification, this, that and the other that
are specifically tailored towork with like a, a, like a Xbox

(01:07:57):
or something like that, one ofthose will work with the with
the headset.
I've heard some people do it.
I just haven't figured outwhich one to go after.
Like I have a few options but Ihaven't gotten one yet.

Speaker 1 (01:08:08):
Well then what I would suggest doing is going
Amazon order it, because youknow you can return it with no
problem.
I would try that because we'vetried different ones and I think
, like what we've, I ran intosome people that think it does
work and then we tell them thatto to ways to test it to make
sure that it doesn't.
You know, they find out thatit's not yeah, then they find
out.

Speaker 6 (01:08:25):
It's really not working.

Speaker 1 (01:08:26):
It's just they just think it's working.
But so, but yeah, I mean that'sthe best way to test it out
from.
I would say is good on Amazon, order one, test it.
If it doesn't work, then sendit back and try it.

Speaker 6 (01:08:38):
Yeah, if that doesn't work, then I guess that my
question kind of changes to what?
Like?
What's the best way to be ableto put out content with the,
with what limited resources Ihave, like, for instance, I have
this Oculus Quest 2, I have myGalaxy S9 Plus phone several
years old, I have my MacBook Profrom several years ago and that

(01:09:01):
and that's about it.
Like, maybe some headphoneswith the next turn on mic, but
they're not, you know the best, they're okay.

Speaker 3 (01:09:09):
And Sheehan are you specifically talking about?
Like you're a singer, right?

Speaker 6 (01:09:13):
Well, not well, I'm your singing, dancing, acting
martial artist, gymnast, dj host.
That's your service.
But not all of that transfersover to VR very well.

Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Okay, Well, I can.
I can try to answer thisquestion a little bit.

Speaker 8 (01:09:28):
I say you work with what you've got.
So do you have a video editingsoftware, or do you have any
software that you can use toedit video?

Speaker 6 (01:09:40):
Yes, on my MacBook, Okay.
Okay, I'm working on trying toget used to getting content from
here onto either my phone oronto my MacBook.
I haven't fiddled with that yetbecause I have to get a bunch
of memory on my MacBook free.

Speaker 8 (01:09:52):
Do you have?
Do you have, an externalmicrophone?

Speaker 6 (01:09:56):
Just the microphone on those headphones that I have,
but it doesn't connect to theOculus, but I can probably use
it from my phone or whatever.

Speaker 8 (01:10:06):
Okay.
When I first started puttingout content metaverse content I
will say it was rough.
I'm not going to sit here andlie to you, okay, I'm not
talking about rough to do, roughlooking Okay.
So what I would suggest you dois find a good software, play
around with it.

(01:10:26):
Remember what I said earlierabout things don't have to be
perfect.
You're going to get into thegroove of what looks and sounds
good to you.
Try a few things.
Connect with people.
If you have someone in here, people are your best resources.
Right, there's always somebodywho knows how to do something
better than you, and that's nota slight to you, because no?

(01:10:48):
no, no, of course I reach out topeople all the time Like you
know how to do this, because Idon't know how to do this.
Either you can show me or I canpay you, whatever it is that
your resource allows you to do.
Find someone who knows how todo something better than you.
Okay, don't be intimidated bythat.
Use that as a guide.
I'm going to find and surroundmyself with all of these people

(01:11:10):
who know how to do somethingbetter than me and they're going
to show me, because if you'reeager to learn, they're going to
teach you.
Yeah, and then, just like Rick, you know, just like Ding Dong,
we will talk and collaboratetogether about software.
I mean, you told me about umwas video yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:11:29):
Video.

Speaker 8 (01:11:30):
So you right.
So you find out what on yourphone, you find out what people
are doing and you're like, okay, how do you use this and how can
I?
How can I use this to mybenefit?
So, use your resources.
Use your um video editingsoftware.
When I started editing video inhere, I did voice over because

(01:11:51):
the microphone in here was sotrash that I would record the
video and do a voice over on topof it.

Speaker 7 (01:11:58):
Yeah, Okay, can I make a quick recommendation?
Good, okay, so you can actuallygo into the settings of your
audio recording in here, um,specifically for audio, you can
actually go into the settings ofyour Oculus and increase the
audio quality.
It's a under bit rate and Ithink you can bring it up to

(01:12:20):
like 20 megabytes per second, which gets way better.
I think the default is five ormaybe it's 10.
Uh, and personally, like me andkiller B, when we edit videos
on our phone we use spark cameraand we use splice, that's the
one.
That's the one Capcom.
Both of those are amazing forlike video editing on the go.

Speaker 1 (01:12:40):
And I think that you know what Brittany is saying is
very important.
Like you know, focus on theconnections that you can make,
because a lot of people can helpyou.
Uh, you know there's a messageme on the LinkedIn.
I'm going to um LinkedInmessage.
Well, you can message me onLinkedIn if you're on there, but
you can message us on Instagram, um, and I can send you a bunch
of stuff that you can use foryour mobile phone.
But the thing is, don't getstuck in the in the mindset that

(01:13:02):
you have to have certain typesof equipment to move forward.
Just do what you do, becausepeople in here I mean, we have
artists that come in and performand and they're cool with doing
it.
They know the sounds not goingto be great, but what they do is
they have resources.
People can go to that.
They do on the side and peoplecan go listen to their music and
stuff from there.
So, make those connections.
The equipment will it'll catchup, but use what you got.

(01:13:23):
Use what you got, uh, but I cansend you some some great mics
that connect to your mobilephones that have really good, uh
, good quality.
That can help out as well.
So I'm going to do that.

Speaker 6 (01:13:32):
So, uh, that would be amazing.

Speaker 8 (01:13:34):
Thank you.
Here's some also.
It's a little bit ofencouragement for you.
Okay, I want you to take thishome.
People have gotten record dealsby recording songs on their
mobile phones.
Okay, All right, people haverecorded songs and closets on
Metro PCS phones and have gottenrecord deals.

Speaker 1 (01:13:54):
Okay.

Speaker 8 (01:13:55):
So do not think that the equipment makes you, you
make the equipment, yeah Allright, that's great.

Speaker 5 (01:14:03):
That's great, you can take you can take that home,
and he's already at home.

Speaker 6 (01:14:09):
So, uh, mission accomplished, well done.

Speaker 2 (01:14:11):
You uh did what you said, I did it.
Good job, you did it.

Speaker 8 (01:14:16):
When you take the headset off, I want you to
marinate on that?
Certainly Well, thank, you.

Speaker 2 (01:14:22):
Thank you guys so very much.
I definitely will.

Speaker 6 (01:14:26):
Um, uh.
Yeah, I had something else tosay, but I used to get hit in
the head for living, so I forget.

Speaker 1 (01:14:31):
Thank you.
I think you did Right therewhat did you want to say?
Go ahead.

Speaker 7 (01:14:37):
RK.
One other thing when we weretalking to the, was it the
founder of buzzsprout?
I believe yes.
Um, we found out one of the toppodcasters, like on um, like
just basically across the board, was still using that little $10
apple earbud.

Speaker 3 (01:14:55):
Um yeah, yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:14:57):
Whatever they're called um the little $10 ones
that always came with youriPhone.
They were still using that andthey'd been podcasting for like
six years and made all thismoney and like was a top
podcaster.
So it really goes to show youdon't need a fancy mic yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:15:10):
He was speaking at an event and he said he was kind
of ashamed when people asked himwhat mic he used, because
everybody there is spending likethousands of dollars.
You know mics can get expensiveand he's like, uh, he's like.

Speaker 7 (01:15:20):
I found embarrassed to tell him.

Speaker 1 (01:15:22):
I'm using the $10 at normal air.

Speaker 5 (01:15:25):
you know apple earbud , so yeah, so there's nothing
wrong with that it gets the jobdone, it gets the job done,
that's right and to the truthabout when you record with a
microphone, since I usemicrophones a lot.
You can buy the most expensivemicrophone, but if you're in a
room that's not treated anddoesn't absorb sound, the mic
will sound like crap.
So where you record, where yourecord, makes a lot of sense.

(01:15:46):
And what Arcane suggested aboutchanging the uh the bit rate,
that's going to help you.
And if you get a good softwarelike uh uh Adobe audition, which
costs, you can probably alsoget uh audacity right, and you
could.
You could kind of change the,the sound in you know, in your
heads, add a little compressionor a little EQ to you know, give

(01:16:07):
it a cleaner sound.

Speaker 8 (01:16:08):
And if you need to go in that closet, go in that
closet.
Yeah, go in that closet.

Speaker 1 (01:16:11):
I mean, we've literally made sound we've we've
literally made from my officehere at the house.
We've made sound boards out ofold frames and you fill it in
with old towels and wrap them intowels and they match the wall.
You can't even tell there, butthey they take in all the sound.
It really does a great job.
So there's a lot of things youcan do.

Speaker 8 (01:16:30):
Go old school.
If you have to, you gotta dowhat you gotta do.

Speaker 1 (01:16:33):
That's right.
That's right.
I love it, all right.
Well, guys, we're going to getready to wrap up.
Please, rainnard guest, withsome confetti.
They stayed here way longerthan than they were asked and I
really appreciate you.
Guys, we are going to bringeverybody up for a picture after
we hit the outro music, butbefore we go, I would love to
ask um, brittany, we always askour guests and since we have
three, I'm going to give you thespotlight because it's your

(01:16:55):
story.
I'm going to ask you out of ourwhole conversation today.
Uh, and with keeping it clean,no, I'm just joking.

Speaker 2 (01:17:02):
You don't have to you , don't have to keep it clean.

Speaker 8 (01:17:04):
I have a hard time with that.

Speaker 1 (01:17:06):
Our rules say no vulgar language.
Just let that be clear.
It says no vulgar, I meanpeople, we, we.
A cuss word is not going to, oh, it's not going to offend us,
but no, it's just no vulgarlanguage.
Is there a difference betweenvulgar and cussing?
Is that?
Is there a difference?
Yeah, so there is.

Speaker 2 (01:17:19):
I thought so, I thought so, I thought so.

Speaker 1 (01:17:21):
Okay so, but I would love to give you the opportunity
to what would be a takeawaythat you would hope everybody
here, or anybody's listen to thepodcast replay, would take away
from today's conversation.

Speaker 8 (01:17:34):
You are not a failure if you fail.
You're a failure if you quit.
And I know that it's hard whenyou are grinding it out.
You stand up all night.
You don't feel like people areliking your post or or reposting
your, your stuff or commentingon your stuff.

(01:17:56):
And I said in the beginning ofthe show everyone who's ever
reposted something of mine addedit to their story, commented
like thank you, shared y'all.
Y'all are amazing for that.
Because in the world right nowthat we live in, something that
is free as a like is so hard toget.
And that's because people willlook at you and watch you and

(01:18:18):
they'll make a comment tothemselves and they'll keep keep
scrolling.
But don't let that affect you, because you're not going to win
watching someone else's plate.
Eat your own food and when youeat don't leave any crumbs.
And that's all I gotta say.

Speaker 1 (01:18:36):
That's good.
That's good, I love it.
I love it.
Well, hey, thanks for tuninginto today's podcast episode, if
you liked, loved today'sepisode.
