Speaker 1 (00:01):
what if I told you that, in life, you get what you
expect?
Would you believe me?
I mean, you probably won'tbelieve me, because most people
are like, well, I sit back and Iexpect a bunch of money Come on
, dana.
Well, there's no money.
So what do you mean?
That you get what you expect?
It can't be true, of course not.

(00:23):
Well, here's the thing itactually is true more often than
not, because if you truly takea step back and you look at what
your words are saying, yourlanguage is saying, then you
would be able to hear that overand over and over again.
You are actually saying thingsthat are causing you to have

(00:45):
self-fulfilling prophecies allthe time.
You're saying things which area reflection of the things that
you're thinking, which is areflection of where you're
putting your energy, becausewherever your energy and
intention are and where they go,that is what's going to
determine what results you get.
So what you expect where yourintention and energy are, that's
what's going to determine whatresults you get.
So what you expect where yourintention and energy are, that's

(01:08):
what's going to create youroutcome.
So let's get into it a littlemore, because this is so
important that it's one of thethings that I drill into my
clients all the time.
What is your intention for thissession?
If we do not start our sessionswith an intention, we're likely
to just talk into circles.
Next thing you know, it's 90minutes later and we haven't
even done any real change work.

(01:30):
We've just talked about things, because that's what people are
used to.
They're used to just showing upand whatever happens happens.
Well, that's not how we makeradical transformation.
If you really want things totransform, you have to know
where you're going.
You have to understand what'syour intention.
What do you want to get out ofthis session?

(01:51):
What do you want to get out ofthis coaching?
What do you want to get out ofthis podcast episode?
I hope you know what yourintention is listening to this,
because if your intention is toget something out of this, if it
is to get a nugget of gold, ifit's to actually take something
and go teach it to someone else,if this is part of your
mindfulness of the day or you'relearning something new, your
intention is to learn somethingnew.

(02:11):
Coming in with those intentionsmeans you are more likely to
actually get that result, because you're more likely to
put more of your energy intolistening to this podcast.
If you don't have an intentionand you're just listening to it,
maybe you're also doingsomething else and what I'm
saying is going in one ear andout the other.
But when you have intention andenergy, both focused on the same

(02:35):
thing, going in the samedirection, you can change and
impact so much around you.
For example, I really like towatch the shows like Ninja
Warrior or the Titan Games.
I love, love, love these kindof shows and one of my favorite
things is, every single time, without fail, you can start to

(02:57):
see, through the competition, who is allowing their ego to
lead them and who is allowingthe passion and the burning
drive to do it for their familyand their friends to do it.
Those people who go in becausethey want a title or they want
some sort of status or accoladethey always, without fail, will
fall first.

(03:18):
But those who go in becausetheir children are watching,
because their wives are there, because they're fighting for
some sort of cancer society orbecause they've overcome
something massive and they'redoing it for a type or a group
of people, those are the peoplewho always, without fail,
succeed.
Those are the ones that everysingle time, you can just see it

(03:39):
, they're going to push a littleextra hard, they're going to
take that pain, they're going toturn on a totally different
mindset.
That just turns them almostlike beast mode just comes out,
because the ego slows us down, because we're always thinking
about what did they think of me?
How do I look?
And that is wasting your energy, because that energy is in on

(04:03):
you versus out on other people.
And so those people who show upand put their intention and
their energy on just winning fortheir families, bringing honor
to the name of something, tobring awareness to some sort of
illness or disease or somefoundation, those are the people
where all of their intention, all their energy, is going to be
forward, focused on just doingthe thing right in front of them

(04:24):
.
They are going to be morepresent.
Energy is going to be forward, focused on just doing the thing
right in front of them.
They are going to be morepresent.
They're going to be able tohave higher results because
they're so focused.
It also shows up in game shows, and I don't know why, but I have
this habit of while watchinggame shows, especially the ones
where you vote for people andyour personality matters and

(04:45):
it's not just some by chance.
You win or lose all the time.
I can always vote who's goingto.
I can vote.
I can determine who's going toget voted out fast on those
shows, because ego never wins.
It's those who go in with theintention of having fun, those
who go in with the intention ofdoing their best, it's those who

(05:05):
go in with their energy onwinning instead of those who go
in with the energy on not losing.
That's a huge specificationright there, because when your
energy is forward, focused onthe finish line, on winning, on
getting to the goal, and you'renot worried about what's
happening around you, thenyou're going to have so much

(05:26):
more energy.
Think about trying to run arace while looking to the side
and just watching the personnext to you.
So many people in these gameshows or any of these TV shows,
you can see that you can tellwhen they're only focused on
tearing down the people aroundthem to make them look better,
versus those who just sit thereand they're themselves and

(05:46):
they're fun and they're having agreat time and they're not
worried about it.
They're just present.
Those are the people who end updoing better and I challenge
you to go and watch the nextshow, like reality show or
whatever it is you're into, andjust see if you can pick it up.
Notice that energy, becauseit's there.
It's there.

(06:07):
It's there, whether you're on agame show or you're playing
Ninja Warrior or not.
It's going to be there and it'sgoing to impact your life.
For example, I have a client whocame to me two and a half years
ago and she said Jaina, I cryevery single day and yet I have
a happiness podcast.
Can you please just help mestop crying?

(06:29):
I said, yeah, we can.
So we worked together.
We did a breakthrough session,we did a lot of follow-up
coaching and throughout thosesix months together, she started
to make some shifts.
She started to pick up on thesenew mindsets and over time and
over the years since then, she'scontinued to have compounding
effects.
Now she went from having ahappiness podcast and crying

(06:51):
every day to now havingbroadcast and podcast of the
year for her podcast, fabulousOver 50.
Go check Jen out.
She is just on fire.
She is so passionate about whatshe's doing.
She shows up on cameras and Ihad to ask her what was the
difference?
Because you went from beingscared to be on camera and going

(07:12):
oh, thank God, it's a podcastwhere I only have to do audio to
now.
You, literally your words wereevery time that I see a camera,
I have to go and grab thatcamera because I want to grab it
, put it in my face so I canshare my message.
That is impressive To go fromsomeone who never wanted to be

(07:33):
on camera to someone who wantsto tell their message to every
single camera that they see huge.
And so I asked her.
I said what was it?
What was that one thing thatmade the change for you?
Because I know it wasn't me andmy coaching.
It had to be something alongthe way.
What was it?
She said it was one mindsetshift.
I said all right, tell me more.

(07:55):
She said I used to think badthings are going to happen to me
, so I just have to, I have toaccept that, and so that was the
life she was living.
Instead, she started to thinkbad and believe good things are
going to happen to me, so I justhave to accept that and let it

(08:19):
happen.
And I'll tell you that singlemindset shift for her was that
one thing that changed herentire world, because she went
from being someone that shedidn't feel comfortable in her
body.
She was questioning everything, super self-conscious, crying
every day, having a really hardtime struggling with all things

(08:41):
in life.
And now she says Jaina, do youknow, when you see yourself in a
mirror and most people say theydon't recognize themselves,
like, yeah, she goes.
Well, I see myself in themirror and I see myself as the
woman that I've always wanted tobe, because you helped me step

(09:02):
into the version of myself thatI've wanted to be since I was a
child.
I finally got rid of that voicewho used to say who am I to
deserve this?
To say who am I to deserve this?

(09:23):
And now she believes why not me?
That is everything.
Expect the best to happen andit will.
One of my favorite quotes that Isay all the time to my clients
myself it's posted around myhouse is this or something
better?
You have to allow yourself tobelieve that if something is not
working out right now, it's notthat it's not working out in
your favor.
It's just might be showing upin a different package.

(09:45):
So open yourself up to thosepossibilities.
Open yourself up to theuniverse of things that could
happen, because I guarantee somuch more is possible than you
believe and if you remainfocused on the outcome that you
want, the outcome you desire andif you just keep focused on

(10:07):
where you're going and enjoy theprocess, you will get to your
desired destination.
Part of that is in this, andthis is the challenge I'm going
to give you for this week.
If you're a journaling personlike I am, you're going to love
this one.
If you're not, you can find adifferent way of doing this
Maybe voice note it to yourselfor just sit and meditate on this

(10:28):
.
But what I want is you to thinkabout the question.
What if?
I want you to initially justsit with that.
What if?
How do you associate to thosewords?
What if?
Do you naturally spiral intothe negative?
Well, what if I lose my job?
What if that payment doesn'tcome through?
What if?

(10:48):
Or do you allow?
What if?
To open up the bounds of what'spossible in your world?
What if they pay me in full andextra?
What if they book all of it now?
What if I completely book outall of my services through the
entire year of 2025, by the endof January?

(11:08):
What if?
There is two completelydifferent ways to take that
question.
One is full of fear and one isfull of love.
There is two completelydifferent ways to take that
question.
One is full of fear and one isfull of love, and so I encourage
you to both step back and buildthat awareness.
Around which one do you leaninto more and more naturally

(11:29):
currently?
Just because it's how you aretoday does not mean it has to be
that way tomorrow or next month.
Just because it's how you aretoday does not mean it has to be
that way tomorrow or next month.
Just figure out what does whatif mean to you, how do you
associate to those what's yournatural tendency and then, if
you're comfortable, take it anduse it to spiral up.

(11:51):
A lot of people tend to be onthe negative side of the fence
with what if, and they couldeasily go down that spiral,
spiraling down.
What if this happens and whatif that happens?
Going all the negative rabbitholes that they could desire.
Side for a moment, I'd love youto journal 10 different

(12:14):
what-ifs that will bring you toyour dream life.
What if I made my first hundredthousand dollars in business?
What if I was paid to speak onthat stage?
What if?
Continue and 10 different times.
Write down what if and fill inthat statement with something
that's going to support yourdreams and your desires, and I

(12:38):
encourage you to just integratethis into your life.
What if?
Is not always the rightquestion to ask, but sometimes
it's a good one, and if you canstay on the positive side of the
fence, it can truly open upyour mindset to the fact that
good things are going to happen.
So you might as well acceptthat.
And what if good thingshappened?

(13:01):
What if that opportunity you'vebeen waiting for is right
around the corner?
What if?
I'm curious, what, what if?
Questions come up for you.
If you'd like to share, tag meon social media and I'd
absolutely love to see whatwhat-if questions you come up
with, because I know that thisis something that is highly

(13:25):
impactful in my life, somethingI use with all of my clients,
and I truly believe that if youare intentional and you put the
energy into this, that you willsee a result, and it could very
well steer you into the mindsetthat you need to reach all of
your dreams and goals.
