Ever feel like the six-month mark just slapped you in the face with the reality of your unachieved goals? That gap between January's vision board and today's reality can trigger a shame spiral that disconnects you from your worth and purpose.

Let's be honest – most of us aren't off track. We're simply in between versions of ourselves, navigating that tender space where old strategies have stopped working but new ones haven't fully kicked in. That uncomfortable middle ground isn't failure; it's evolution. When we hit this gap, our instinct is to panic, overcorrect, and push harder. "I just need more discipline," we tell ourselves. But urgency is often just a dressed-up trauma response – fight or flight masquerading as motivation.

What if, instead of hustling through the gap, you learned to regulate within it? This episode walks you through a transformative mid-year reset process: naming the gap without judgment, honoring your feelings, regulating your nervous system through breathwork, reconnecting with what truly inspires you now, and only then realigning your strategy from presence rather than panic. With Mercury retrograde approaching and Leo season on the horizon, this cosmic pause offers the perfect opportunity to reflect before you roar back into action.

Whether you're a Projector needing to recalibrate your invitations, a Generator tuning into what genuinely lights you up now, or a Manifester sensing shifting urges, remember: you are not behind, broken, or late. You are simply becoming. Download the Her app today to access nervous system reset rituals that will bring you back to yourself – because your next chapter doesn't need to be forced, it just needs to be felt.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
We're halfway through the year and if you're looking
at your goals, your energy andyour life and thinking, this is
not where I thought I'd be, well, you're not alone, girlfriend.
Maybe you had a vision board inJanuary, a strategy, a dream, a
six-figure launch plan and aversion of you that felt so

(00:21):
clear.
But now it's July and, insteadof feeling inspired, you feel
off track, behind untethered.
Well, this episode, yeah, thisis your permission slip to pause
, not to hustle, not to quit andnot to spiral, but to regulate,
because when there's a gapbetween your vision and your

(00:45):
reality, your nervous systemwill try and make it mean
something about your worth, andthat's where we lose ourselves.
So, today, we're going tobreathe into the gap, we're
going to honor what is here, andI'm going to walk you through
the mid-year reset process, onethat, through the mid-year reset

(01:07):
process, one that, well, it'llbring you back to yourself
without the shame.
So let's begin, and we begin bynaming it, because there is
power in naming it.
So there's a version of you, there's the version you know the
year, there's the version ofthe year you imagined, and then
there's, well, what actuallyunfolded?
Maybe you had quarter threemapped out, maybe you thought

(01:30):
you'd be launching something new, traveling or feeling the
momentum by now, but insteadyou're tired, you're spinning,
you're disconnected or wonderingif you even want the same
things anymore.
If you even want the samethings anymore.
Well, here's the truth.
Most of us, we aren't off track.

(01:54):
We're just in between versionsof ourselves and that space,
that in between space, it'stender.
It's where your old strategiesstop working, but your new ones,
well, they haven't fully landed, they haven't fully kicked in
yet, and it activates thisurgency, this shame, this need
to fix something.
I have been there more timesthan I can count.

(02:14):
Trust me, I have experiencedthis over and over and over.
And you know I remember a Julywhere I looked at my goals, my
deadlines.
And you know I remember a Julywhere I looked at my goals, my
deadlines, my income targets, mycontent plans and just felt
well numb, because it wasn'tthat I didn't care.
It's that I no longer resonatedwith the version of me who

(02:36):
created the goals in the firstplace.
Yeah, well, that's not failure.
In fact, that's evolution.
So let's get real about whatmost of us do in the gap.
When we hit that gap, we panic,we overcorrect, we push harder,
we say things like well, I justneed to be more disciplined.
I just I've got to catch up.

(02:56):
Let me just get these fewthings off my to-do list and
I'll.
Honey.
No, let's be honest, urgency isoften just dressed up trauma
response.
Truly, it's fight or flightdisguised as motivation.
So if you're listening to this, the chances are you've already
tried to push.

(03:16):
You've already burned out atleast once, if not two or three
times, and you always know howthat story is going to end.
So what if, instead of hustlingthrough the gap, we learned how
to regulate inside of it?
When your nervous system iscalm, well, that's when your

(03:38):
creativity comes back.
That's when your body feelssafe and clarity returns.
When you pause with presence, power rises again.
You don't need to force clarity, you need to create space for
it.
So let's drop into original.
That I call the mid-year reset.

(04:01):
You might want to pause this andcome back with your journal, or
just close your eyes if you'renot driving, and just feel this
in your body.
First name the gap.
Ask yourself where am I nowcompared to where I thought I'd
be?
And without judgment, justawareness.
Let the gap become visible.

(04:23):
Second step feel the feelings.
Do you feel disappointed, ashamed, relieved, resentful.
Well, just let it move throughyou without analyzing it Breathe
, sigh, shake, cry, be still, whatever it is that your body

(04:46):
needs.
Just let it move through thoseemotions and those feelings.
Number three we're going toregulate the body, so let's do
this part together.
You're going to drop yourshoulders, place one hand on
your heart and one on your wombor your belly, inhale deeply
through your nose.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
And exhale fully through your mouth, softly and
slowly, again into your nose andout through your mouth.
And one more time into yournose and out through your mouth,

(05:27):
letting your body know I amsafe and number four begin to
reconnect with desire, askingyourself what still feels alive
and then what no longer fits.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Finally, ask yourself , if I could begin again today,
what would I choose?
And simply let this version ofyourself set the tone Not the
one from January, but the onefrom today.
Not the one from January, butthe one from today.
And number five you want torealign the strategy.
Now, and only now, you canpivot, but not before you hit

(06:10):
step five.
Go one step at a time.
Now it's time from presence, not panic, from truth, not
tension.
Presence, not panic, from truth, not tension.
This is the moment most peoplemiss and this is the one that
changes everything.
So quick, a really quick, energetic download for those who

(06:32):
love astrology and human design, like myself.
We are entering Leo season soon, a time of bold self-expression
.
But before the Leo fire comes, mercury retrograde energy will
be here and it invites us toreflect before we roar.
This is the season of deepclarity, not performance.

(06:54):
So, projectors like myself, this is your time to recalibrate
your invitations.
You don't need to initiate, just realign, and our generators
and our manifesting generatorstune in to what actually lights
you up right now, not whatsounded good six months ago.

(07:16):
And reflectors.
Take your time, feel into therhythm of your environment.
Manifesters, your urges may beshifting, so pause before the
next surge and wherever you fall.
This is a cosmic pause, anemotional integration window, so

(07:39):
let's not rush it.
Here's the reframe I want toleave you with.
You are not behind, you are notbroken and you are not late.
You are simply becoming, andyou are allowed to take a pause
in the in-between, because thenext version of your life, your

(08:03):
business and your body of work.
It doesn't need to be forced,it just needs to be felt.
Your nervous system will guideyou, but only if you listen.
So here is your invitationDownload the Her app, search for
healthy emotional regulation onthe app store or go to

(08:24):
her-apppassioniocom you can alsofind these both in the show
notes and just try one of thenervous system reset rituals
this week.
Pick one guided meditation, onejournal prompt or one set of
affirmations and just give it atry.
And if you love it, then joinus inside the Her Collective.

(08:46):
That's where you can getcoaching, clarity and connection
while you pivot, and if thisepisode helped you exhale a
little bit, then send it to yourbusiness bestie and let's heal
in community Until next time, pause, recalibrate and remember
you are not starting over.

(09:07):
You're simply starting fromdeeper alignment.
