La organización de Boy Scouts of America llegó a un acuerdo preliminar de US $850 millones con unas 60,000 personas por denuncias de abusos sexuales.
Según los abogados de las víctimas, este puede ser el acuerdo de abuso sexual más grande en la historia de Estados Unidos.
Las cifras de casos reportados eclipsan a las denuncias similares hechas contra la iglesia católica en el país.
