Speaker 1 (00:00):
Honestly, I recorded
this episode about two Decembers
ago and, if I'm being perfectlyhonest, I allowed insecurity to
creep in and let the lie tellme that this wasn't the time.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
I did not produce this episode, but guess what?
The time is now.
Somebody needs to hear this.
So you're going to hear theaudio transition to what I
(00:22):
recorded a few years ago.
So just listen in and hear whatthe wait was for.
Here we go.
I don't know about you guys, butit's been an interesting year
in terms of the lessons that Godhas given and in terms of the
battles and the spiritualwarfare.
(00:45):
Earlier this year, the Lordspoke to me saying I taught you
how to wage war in the flesh andnow I'm going to teach you how
to wage war in the spirit.
If you need help or a word onspiritual warfare and how to
position yourself so that everytime you overcome and you win,
(01:08):
keep listening.
Hey friend, welcome to a newcreation podcast where we're
pointing women towards victoryin Christ, one Jesus story at a
(01:28):
time.
My name is Jamice Lachelle.
I'm so glad that you're here.
Let's dive right in to today'sepisode.
Hey, welcome back for anotherepisode.
Jamice Lachelle here, and Iwant to just launch right into
prayer.
I don't know if you noticed, but as I'm doing these solo
episodes anymore, which they'recoming out about every other
(01:52):
week now, it's like man, I don'twant to waste a lot of time, I
want to get right into it.
So let's just launch right intoprayer and we'll get into all
the other good stuff in a bit.
All the other good stuff in abit.
Dear Heavenly Father, we justwant to bless you, we want to
bless your name, we want to saythank you for this time.
(02:13):
I ask for your Holy Spirit, oGod, to just be with the
listener.
Rest with us, walk with us,open up our ears to hear what
the Spirit of the Lord is saying.
Lord, guard our eyes, lord, god, that we would see what you
want us to see in this day andas we move about our daily lives
.
Lord, we just want you and weneed you.
(02:35):
Bless this time of gatheringhere together.
On this podcast, you said, where two or more gather in your
name.
You're surely in the midst andwe just want to acknowledge that
and say thank you for yourpresence.
In Jesus' name, I pray Amen.
It is the power of Christ thatsaves us.
(02:57):
It is the power of Christ thatredeems us, and your awareness
of this and your knowledge ofthis is what you can hold up as
your shield of faith wheneverthose fiery darts of the enemy
come.
So many times, I'll hear peoplespeak about putting on their
(03:20):
full armor of god, coming out of, I believe, ephesians 6, 13.
Therefore, put on the fullarmor of God so, when the day of
evil comes, you're able tostand.
After you've done everythingyou can to stand.
You stand.
Stand firm, then, with the beltof truth buckled around your
(03:41):
waist, the breastplate ofrighteousness with your feet
fitted with the readiness thatcomes from the gospel of truth
buckled around your waist, thebreastplate of righteousness
with your feet fitted with thereadiness that comes from the
gospel of peace.
In addition to this, take upthe shield of faith with which
you can extinguish all theflaming arrows of the evil.
One.
Take up the helmet of salvationand the sword of the spirit,
which is the word of God.
We hear people speak about this, and what's interesting is, as I
(04:06):
speak with other believers,it's kind of funny how, like we
tend to have gone through thatphase where it's like every
morning, you're waking up,you're putting on your armor.
You're putting on your armorevery morning, and so I would
ask you if that's you who askedyou to take that armor off in
the first place.
This is kind of a little aside.
I'm throwing this in there forfree.
(04:28):
In the natural, we think abouttaking our clothing on, our
clothing off, but we are not inthe neck.
We are not natural peopleanymore.
We are in this world, but we'renot of this world as we become
believers in Christ Jesus.
So, that being the case thatyou are now in the spirit, your
(04:51):
spirit is one with the spirit ofGod, who told you to take your
armor off, and the spirit.
You do not have to take yourarmor off, and that is a uh
simple, subtle, littlemanipulative idea.
Many times it does come fromthe enemy, sometimes it just
comes from our fleshly way ofthinking, our current carnal way
(05:13):
of thinking, but you are onewith christ jesus.
The holy spirit is in you as abeliever.
He will never leave you, norforsake you.
So do not take your armor ofgod off.
You can think of it as someoneuh described to me once like
this instead of putting on herarmor, she says she wakes up and
(05:36):
from time to time in themorning she just checks to make
sure that her armor is is shined, that her armor is still there
in place, etc.
Etc.
Etc.
Because, believe it or not, youcan fall into these kind of
strange beliefs.
Uh, questioning your salvation, questioning whether you have
lost your salvation.
(05:57):
You know, these are the fierydarts that the enemy throws.
He likes to throw these fierydarts and, frankly, um, not
enough in my opinion.
Ministers, churches areproviding biblical solutions.
For how do we actually dealwith that?
(06:18):
There's those who think that thedevil doesn't have any power
anymore, that there is no needfor deliverance from the devil.
There's those who actuallybelieve that.
There's those who think thatthe devil's not oppressing
people to this day.
(06:39):
But the truth is that we knowthe character of our God and
when you know God's character,as you spend time in his word,
you begin to know what is,straight up, not God.
There's so many ways that thisgets manipulated, but I'm here
(07:03):
today to um just speak to youabout this one point.
I could go on and on, but I justwant to leave this short,
simple message with you forsomeone coming out of the word
of 1, 21, verse 7 says the lordshall preserve you from all evil
(07:23):
.
He shall preserve your soul.
The lord shall preserve yourgoing out and your coming in
from this thing forth and evenforever more.
If you can recognize theattacks of satan on your life
and you better believe that ofyour child of god, that every
(07:43):
day the enemy has planned anattack against you, then you
also better know this much thatthe blood of jesus has already
won you the victory, that thatthe finished work of Christ
Jesus on the cross has alreadyallowed you and enabled you to
(08:05):
walk in victory, that the LordJesus is your advocate, he's
your intercessor.
Right now you have the HolySpirit advocating for you.
Right now you have the LordJesus Christ himself, the living
God, advocating for you.
Right now you have the LordJesus Christ himself, the living
God, advocating for you rightnow, so that every lie of the
devil is covered under the bloodof Jesus, every lie is dealt
(08:31):
with by Christ Jesus.
So there's an important piecethat we have to do.
We have to be in our word everysingle day, renewing our minds
with the word of God.
We have to be renewing the word, renewing ourselves by the
power of God.
And here's the thing with that.
A lot of times people are likehow do I do it?
(08:51):
How do I do it?
They think we have to memorizeall these verses.
And that's great.
Memorization is wonderful, butyou don't want that to become a
work.
But you don't want that tobecome a work.
You don't want that to become awork.
Instead, I encourage you to getin your Bible, pray about
reading it for understanding, ask the Holy Spirit to help you
(09:13):
actually comprehend what you'rereading, and let the Holy Spirit
it's God's job to renew yourmind through the Word.
Your job is to just stay in theword and as you do that, what
you'll find is, when those fierydarts come, those lies, what do
you do?
You can raise up your defense.
You can raise up the word ofGod and extinguish that.
(09:33):
That's your shield of faith.
You take your sword, which isthe word of God, and you just
strike against this lie.
You strike against that lie.
Many of us are tiring ourselvesout.
I can confess I've gone throughthat phase, thinking that I
have to just hoot and holler andconstantly be fighting the
(09:57):
devil.
Constantly be fighting thedevil, because real talk, the
attacks can be relentless.
The devil don't take no daysoff from trying to harass people
.
You know what I'm saying.
But you have to remember thatwe must stay in step with the
(10:20):
Spirit of God.
And so it is very important, aswe are doing our spiritual
warfare, that you're lockingeyes with Jesus.
First and foremost Word saysdon't look to your right, don't
look to your left.
Many times the Lord will saydon't even look at that lying
devil.
Lock eyes with Jesus, why?
His eyes burn like flames offire.
Come and once christ enters theroom, his eyes burning like
(10:45):
fire, everything has to shift inhis blessed name.
So the more that you tireyourself out trying to fight the
devil using these um tacticsand a lot of times the enemy
really will try to goad you intothese attacks here try to goad
you into fighting him so you cantire yourself out.
(11:07):
Why?
Because you can never winagainst the enemy without the
power of Christ Jesus.
It is Christ Jesus, it is thename of Jesus, it is that name,
it is that name of the LordJesus, yeshua Elohim Adonai, his
(11:28):
blessed name.
It is the power of Christ thatsaves you.
So we can get kind of tired outabout like the spiritual warfare
thing.
We can kind of sometimes makeit over complicated.
But look at your word.
It says it right here Psalm 121, verse 7.
(11:48):
The Lord shall preserve youfrom all evil.
The Lord shall preserve youfrom all evil.
Make that a declaration.
The Lord shall preserve me fromall evil.
The Lord preserves me from allevil.
The lord preserves me from allevil.
Why?
Because he promised you that hewould never leave you or
forsake you.
(12:09):
He says as the mountainssurround jerusalem, so the lord
surrounds his people, from thistime forth and forever.
So I would implore you andencourage you to work on.
If you're struggling in thisarea, think about it as what is
your relationship in terms ofthe security you have in your
(12:29):
relationship with Christ Jesus?
Are you secure in that?
Do you actually feel rooted andgrounded?
And we're not really alwaysgoing based upon our feelings,
you know, while we couldsometimes not necessarily feel
it, but do you know that?
You know that.
You know that.
You know you're a child of God.
(12:50):
And if that's the case, everypromise is yes and amen.
The promise that you are morethan a conqueror in Christ.
The promise that it is finishedthe Lord has already defeated
them.
The promise that soon Satanshall be under your feet.
The promise that you arefriends.
(13:11):
Security, security, security, security, security in Christ
Jesus, security in what he'sdoing, what he's done and what
he's going to do.
Stay with Jesus, stay with God,stay with the Holy Spirit.
You can not fail that way.
(13:33):
The battle's already won.
You're fighting from a place ofvictory.
You're not fighting the devilfor victory.
You're fighting already from aplace of victory.
You're just enforcing the lawwhen you know your identity in
Christ Jesus.
I pray that this blesses you.
If you need prayer, if you wantto speak about mentorship or
(13:54):
discipleship, you can contact me.
Week about mentorship ordiscipleship, you can contact me
.
As always, I leave space at theend of every one of these
conversations to allow you tocome to the Lord if you're ready
for that, and there's no bettertime than right now.
You know the Lord says that hewill save all who call upon his
(14:15):
name.
It's a promise coming out ofthe book of Romans, romans,
chapter 10, verse 13, saying forwhoever calls on the name of
the Lord shall be saved.
And what a promise is that?
Saved from what?
Saved from their sin, savedfrom eternal separation from God
(14:39):
, saved from their depression, saved from their despair, saved
from their anguish.
We just don't have to walk inthat as we have put on Christ as
our garments, as we learn toallow Him to truly be the lord
of our life.
(14:59):
Those sufferings, those thingsthat we go through, oh, he says,
my burden is easy, my yoke islight and maybe, as I'm speaking
, some of the sounds likechristianese, and I get it.
You know, I get it.
But yet there is a tugging and apulling on your heart, and so I
(15:20):
would ask you to just if you'reready this is not a special
formula, but if you're ready toconfess Jesus, maybe you're
ready to come back to him andrenew your relationship with him
.
He's here already and he'sready for you.
So you can repeat this after me.
And if you already know Jesuswell, I invite you to help pray
for the ones listening today andtheir salvation Say Lord Jesus,
(15:45):
I confess that you are the Lord, you are the son of God and you
died for my sins and you roseagain on the third day with all
power in heaven and earth givenunto you.
Lord, I'm ready to give my lifeto you, I'm ready to surrender
to you my God and I'm ready tostart living for you and letting
(16:07):
you be the Lord of my life, letting you be the king of my
life, fill me with your HolySpirit, lord, I pray.
Baptize me with the Holy Spiritand power and fire and with
love.
In the name of jesus, I pray.
And if you just said thatprayer for the very first time,
(16:27):
welcome to the family.
Hey, thank you for tuning intothis episode.
I invite you to go follow me onmy socials at jamieslachelle.
I'm gonna be in the new yearhosting and you're hearing about
it here first.
So if you got to the end ofthis episode, congratulations,
(16:48):
because you're getting thisfirst.
I'm going to be hosting in thenew year a whole Bible reading
challenge and we're not gonnatake the whole year to do it
because, guess what, frankly, wedon't have that kind of time
and maybe that's another podcastepisode for another day.
No, I'm not doom and glooming intimes talking, but I'm saying
(17:12):
that you know we just don't havea lot of time to waste creeping
through our Bible when wehaven't read the whole thing.
Like, I really am so passionateabout every woman knowing her
Bible, every woman notnecessarily having to call
herself a biblical scholar.
Maybe that feels too haughty orlofty for you, but every
(17:34):
believer needs to have heard andencountered every single word
of God and I just believe it.
I believe that you know, and Idon't condemn you, I don't judge
you if that's not you, but ifyou have ever felt the tug, you
want to like read your wholeBible and you've just had a
challenge getting through itbecause, come on, like it's a
(17:55):
big task.
It's big, it's a lot of words.
I'm going to be hosting in thenew year and every word of the
bible challenge and you'll behearing about it first on my
instagram, because that's whereI hang out the most, so go
follow me there if you're notalready, and I'll be dropping
more links and stuff on thatplatform.
But in the I just want to thankyou again.
(18:18):
I want to bless you and ask andjust pray over you that the
Lord himself would bless you, would guard you, would rule your
life, would rule your heart, and that he would keep you safe
and protect you until we meetagain.
