Speaker 2 (00:30):
Welcome to a Queen's Opinion.
My name is Queen, my voice, myopinion and your listening ears.
This episode is called BigDreams, small Wallets Series Big
Dream House.
Why do dreams make us smile?

(00:54):
In this second episode of theseries, we are going to talk
about big dreams and smallwallets the big dream house.
What does it mean to dream?
Wallets, the big dream house.
What does it mean to dream?
I looked up the word dream inthe Oxford Dictionary and it
stated that a dream is a seriesof thoughts, images and
sensations occurring in aperson's mind during sleep.

(01:17):
The second definition said acherished aspiration, ambition
or idea.
Said a cherished aspiration, ambition or idea.
Just like in the last episode,I stated that we all have had a
dream or two.
We all have had a dream or twoabout a big house.
Every person wants a home thatspeaks to who they are and their

(01:40):
accomplishments.
For me, my home represents meas a person, and I'm sure there
may be other women out therethat feel the same way.
If we are really dreaming big, then in our minds we own a huge
house, over 25,000 square feet, divided into three wings of the

(02:03):
house, sitting on 15 acres.
We have 10 to 12 bedrooms, eachwith a private bathroom,
sitting for a king or queen.
We would have the finestAfrican art on the wall, the
floor would be the mostbeautiful luxury wood and there

(02:24):
would be the chef kitchen, twooffices, one studio lab and all
the technology that can be putin the house for security,
hoarding and gaming.
The house comes with a staffchef, house manager with a staff
of five assistants, a gardener, and a pool man too.

(02:45):
In addition, house manager witha staff of five assistants, a
gardener and a pool man too.
In addition, outside spacewould have a tennis court,
swimming pools and spa outdoors, chef's kitchen, a grill area
with a pizza oven.
Of course, we need to have aguest house consisting of three

(03:07):
bedrooms and baths.
We don't want them to stay toolong.
This dream would be incompleteif we didn't include the big
dream vehicles to match thehouse.
We must have the finestvehicles, like a Porsche or
Lamborghini, just to name acouple.
This house and cars match thebig wallet dream for me.

(03:32):
Of course, we know that it'sjust a house, right?
Regardless of the size of thehouse, if it doesn't have love,
then that house is not worth thefoundation it is built on.
It doesn't matter if you livein a one-bedroom studio

(03:55):
apartment, a three-bedroom ranchhouse with a huge yard, a small
home duplex or a trailer.
And it doesn't matter if yourhouse is located in the projects
or in a parking lot, in a tent,in a parking lot, in a tent.

(04:21):
As long as you have love insideof your home, it doesn't matter
the size or location of thehome.
The point is, if you have lovein your heart, anywhere you go,
any place you live and lay yourhead down should be filled with
love from your heart.
And lay your head down shouldbe filled with love from your
heart.
I know people who lived in theprojects and had extraordinarily
little.

(04:41):
They were being raised byfamily members grandma and
auntie or adopted, changingliving arrangements frequently.
It didn't matter if they livedin a fancy house or not.
It was the love shared and feltin the house that the young
person remembered forever.

(05:03):
They felt the love in everyroom, love in the kitchen, where
meals were prepared to ensurethe child didn't go without
eating something every day.
It didn't matter if the childhad to go without eating
something every day.
It didn't matter if the childhad to share a bedroom with his
siblings.
They both had a place to laytheir heads.

(05:23):
Can you feel the love I'mtalking about?
It didn't matter if thefurniture they sat on every day
was used furniture from severalfamily members' donations over
the years.
The house, with extremelylittle material things,
represented the love in thehouse.
Everywhere you look in thehouse, no matter the room you

(05:47):
are in, you could feel the lovein the house.
You see, when I was a youngperson, my grandmother would say
to me that you don't bringeveryone home.
As a child, I didn't fullyunderstand that statement at the
time, but as I grew into agrown woman, I realized that

(06:12):
what my grandmother was tryingto say is your house, your home,
is a special place and thateveryone can't be invited into
your private space.
In other words, when you invitesomeone to your home, you are
stating this is a good person tohave in our lives.

(06:35):
You are stating this is a goodperson to have in our lives.
This person is trustworthy, honest, kind, giving, respectful
and lovable.
This person is good enough tobe in our family.
Nevertheless, we all have bigdreams and one of my big dreams

(06:56):
was to have a big house.
The big house would be a placewhere all my family could come
live or visit my children andtheir families with those
grandbabies, and a place forentertaining my friends.
My house would represent aplace of love.
I feel I have achieved thismilestone because whenever

(07:22):
someone new comes to my home, they always say you have a
beautiful home and I can justfeel the love.
This is exactly what I wantedpeople to feel.
I want you to feel the lovewhen you enter my home,
regardless of the size.
When you feel love in someone'shome, you are feeling a piece of

(07:45):
their soul and heart behind thecurtain.
You are entering into a veryprivate part of their lives and
you should be grateful andthankful that you were given the
opportunity to see and feel thelove inside of that person and
the love that lives in theirhome home, how many acres your

(08:12):
home is sitting on or the finematerial things you have inside,
regardless of how many rooms, bathrooms and staff you have
working for you, it all meansnothing if you don't have love.
You can replace all the finematerial things inside the house

(08:33):
, you can even tear the housedown and replace it, but love is
forever.
You may fall out with familyand friends, but if you
genuinely love them and you haveshared your house of love with
them, that love never driftsaway completely.

(08:55):
That love never drifts awaycompletely.
Leave your heart and your mindopen to love.
In other words, we should becautious as to who we invite to
our home, whether in the bigdream house or our actual home,

(09:15):
because inviting someone to yourhome is special In the end.
I know I should stop havingthese big-ass dreams and live in
my reality, but I'll keepdreaming big, because it has
been seen that dreams come true.
If you are still working on abig dream house, like me, don't

(09:38):
give up.
Keep dreaming and keep workingtowards all your dreams.
