Come with us as we take you to Malawi, a landlocked country in Southeastern Africa. Did you know Malawi was the first country in Africa to grow tea on a commercial scale? Did you know Malawi is home to the “richest concentration of rock art in Central Africa”. Did you know, Malawi is known as the “warm heart of Africa” due to the welcoming nature of its people?.

Our special guest is a true boss chick and catalyst for change, Wangiwe Joanna Kambuzi, founder and managing director at Mzuzu E-Hub, an entrepreneurship and innovation hub that supports youth led start ups and early-stage businesses by linking them to a network of services for success. Wangiwe is a communication practitioner, business development professional, community builder and a passionate enthusiast about providing innovative solutions for socio-economic empowerment. She is also a youth manifesto champion for the Youth Decide campaign under Youth and Society and sits on the Executive Committee for the Commonwealth Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs Africa Chapter and Commonwealth Business Women Malawi Chapter. In this segment, we discuss Wangiwe’s upbringing in Malawi, what sparked her interest in wanting to work with young people in her country and some of her key impacts as a social entrepreneur.

At ASA, we love a boss babe who not only makes money moves but more importantly makes a meaningful impact.

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
