Now, the veteran stand-up is simply enjoying his time on and off stage every day by finding the humor in life and joy in simply being alive.

A native of New Jersey now living in Florida, Grooms is a veteran familiar to fans of stand-up with a resume filled with esteemed credits. This inlcude his half-hour special on Comedy Central as well as notable appearances on "Chappelle's Show," VH1, NBC, "Showtime at the Apollo," BET,  CBS, HBO ... and a standout role in the Amy Schumer-led film "I Feel Pretty."  He also turned his medical experience into a comedy special,  "Kyle Grooms: Brain Humor" in 2020.
