A native of Georgia, Mia Jackson is a stand-up comedian who's wit and charm results in big laughs in an easy to relate to style. Her career took off in 2017 when she was selected as a "New Face" at the prestigious Just for Laughs International Comedy Festival and Atlanta's Creative Loafing honored her with the Critic's Choice award as the Best Stand-Up in the city. Regularly opening for Amy Schumer, she has also performed at multiple festivals and is a favorite at clubs nationwide.
Her first stand up special aired on EPIX in Oct. 2018 as part of the network's Unprotected Sets comedy series. Additionally, she has appeared on NickMom's Night Out, Viceland, Comedy Central's This Week at the Comedy Cellar and was a semi-finalist on Season 9 of NBC's Last Comic Standing. Her Comedy Central Presents half hour special debuted in Nov. 2019.
