When Kirsten Leo swapped her classroom teaching tools for the celestial compass of the moon's cycles, she embarked on an extraordinary voyage that she's here to share with us. Her story of transformation from an elementary school teacher to a spiritual practitioner is nothing short of inspiring, as she illuminates the profound impact the lunar rhythms have on personal growth and feminine empowerment. Join A Witch, A Mystic & A Feminist, as we discuss with Kirsten how these celestial patterns offer a powerful framework for women to reclaim their strength and step into a leadership role that defies societal norms.

We take a deep look at the ancient connection between women and the moon, considering the emotional and energetic shifts that coincide with its phases. As Kirsten guides us through the historical significance of women's wisdom and the cyclical nature of life, we touch upon the reawakening of practices that honor this natural bond. We also examine the Age of Aquarius, a time that promises a collective evolution towards higher consciousness and inclusivity, paving the way for a new paradigm of leadership rooted in intuition and care.

Wrapping up our journey with Kirsten, we explore the art of setting intentions with the moon. The new moon invites us to plant seeds of desire, while the full moon challenges us to release anything that hinders our progress. Delve into the significance of these rituals and how they foster a continuous relationship with oneself, using journal prompts, affirmations, and the supportive backdrop of astrology. Kirsten's deep dive into the rhythms of the moon is a testament to the transformative power of self-discovery and the rich wisdom waiting to be unlocked within us all.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome to A Witch, a Mystic and a Feminist.
With your hosts, jamie, marlenaand Christy, that's me.
Today, we welcome special guestKirsten Leo.
Kirsten is the host of theLight Path podcast and a
practitioner with the Light PathCollective, a community who
provides guidance and support tothose on their spiritual

(00:29):
journey.
Today, we'll be discussing, among other things, the moon and
its beautiful energy, and howto harness that energy to
enhance our lives.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Welcome, kirsten, thank you, thank you so much for
having me.
We are.
Even though we might be ondifferent sides of the world, we
are absolutely under the samemoon, which connects us all, so
it's so beautiful to be herewith you.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
It is definitely.
Could you actually give ourlisteners just a little bit of
background on who you are andhow you came to this path?
Sure.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
So this is not a path , the path of the mystic or the
healer or the channel was notone that I had ever desired or
wanted to walk.
I was a primary school teacheror elementary school teacher.
I was a kindergarten teacherfor 20 years.
I happily living my life, andit wasn't until I was going
through a difficult period ataround the age of 30, you know

(01:20):
the classic big breakup, and anacquaintance of mine suggested
that or offered like I know thiswoman, she's this medium.
I didn't even know what amedium was.
I went and saw her, hoping thatshe'd be telling me everything
was going to be fine.
I walked in and she said you,I've been waiting for you, sit
down.
This is who you are, this iswhat you do.
And I was like no, it isactually not.

(01:44):
I go crazy hippie lady and Iquite like my nice handbags and
things.
This is not my.
I don't know what you'retalking about.
So left there thinking that wasa waste of time.
And then it was just a coupleof weeks later where I was, just
so you know, heartbroken.
It was not an easy time, Idon't know why, but I reached

(02:05):
back up to her and she said come, come and sit with me.
So I went and we sat in themeditation and as soon as she
took me into that meditation Ithought, oh, it just was like
the most at home feeling I'veever had in my life.
And to connect that way andultimately what I now know we
were in like that transcendentalmeditation state.

(02:25):
It was something that for meapparently she was right I can
hold that really easily.
I just went straight in and soI decided to sit in with her,
join this beautiful meditationcircle full of amazing healers,
and over the next 10 years kindof just became more and more of
myself in this space.
To the point now I'm mid 40s, Iwork full time as I do a lot of

(02:49):
things, but I work one on onewith people still doing readings
and energy healing, but mybiggest passion is working with
the moon.
I think that we're goingthrough, as women, such a
transition into major leadershipand the world turning.

(03:10):
It is changing.
But we have to quote I don'teven know who said it, but
someone wonderful was sayingthat we've been taught to speak
the language of men and so aswomen, we don't really have a
language around leadership andpushing forward with our own

(03:32):
gifts and for me, what I havefound is there is a lot of buzz
talk or has been a little buzztalk around feminine energy and
none of it really resonated withme.
I didn't want to dance, I didn'twant to be seductive, I didn't
want to do all the typicalthings that they tell you to do
to tap into your feminine, but Iwas always fascinated with the

(03:56):
moon and the energy and thestories and the gifts that it
offers, and so, personally, working with the moon cycles has
been my personal practice.
So, coming into this work fulltime, what I really realized was
, ah, this is actually whatconnects me to my feminine
energy, and the history of womenworking with the moon cycles is

(04:16):
massive.
So for me, working with themoon, yes, it's a personal
development and healing andspiritual practice, but more
importantly, it's about reallyharnessing my innate majesty and
empowerment as a woman, and toshare that with other women and

(04:36):
to guide them in that is a hugegift.
And the other aspect of that isreal autonomy over our paths
and how we do things forourselves.
And so the way in which I workwith the moon with other women
is not directly led, which wemight get into later.
So how I got onto this path wasone of complete alignment,

(04:59):
synchronicity, but also a heckof a lot of surrender.
For me, like I said, it wasn'ta path that I wanted, and I
think that when we giveourselves permission to do that,
that's where the magic lies, not in the strategic, mapped out
life or the language of menthat we've been taught.
Wow.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
I know I'm like that was beautiful.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
I will be honest with you up until probably well,
we'll just say 2020, wheneverything happened right, and
there was a major shift foreveryone.
I was just not aware of howmuch the moon affected or could
affect, right, like just theenergy.
And so the first way I came torealize was with our cycles,
right, like our cycles can beright in line with the moon,

(05:44):
with the new moon or the fullmoon.
And when I started trackingthat, I was like this is amazing
, but then also not so amazing,Like also, yeah, duh, kind of
thing, right, and so it was justthat information.
And then from there I was likeokay, wow, all right.
Well, there's something to this.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Obviously, lots of ancient moon rituals, the
interesting thing about thecycles is, it's like 29.5 days
roughly is a moon cycle, as isour cycle, right, right, the way
I well, I'm so obviously youcan tell from my voice.
I'm in Australia, so we live amajority by the coast, so the
beach and the waves are verymuch a thing for us.

(06:21):
The thing that drew me to itwas understanding that this moon
creates the tides in all theocean, so we are 70 roughly
percent water.
Surely it affects us as akindergarten teacher, or ask any
emergency nurse, you know whenit's a full moon.
Oh, yeah, right, the kids aremental, well, let's just say
energetically and emotionallysensitive.

(06:42):
Yes, the moon's magnetism isvery strong in a full moon, so
often, you know.
That's why we have like wolveshowling at the full moon.
All that kind of stuff andfeminine energy is one of deep
connection to self and to nature.

(07:04):
We as humans are just part ofthat.
Women were the leaders ofcommunities, kingdoms, all the
things, until there was anunpleasant but maybe necessary
shift.
It's just the way of history, and so, as women, we were burnt
at the stake for looking at themoon or coming up with our

(07:27):
homeopathic remedies, orintuitively knowing what is
right for us or our community, our children, our elders,
whatever it was.
So of course, we have a naturalinclination to be massively
disconnected from what is innateto us.
And how beautiful that now wecan not only reclaim that for us
, but start to really expandinto the power that all these

(07:53):
practices hold for our daughtersand our grand daughters, and
all that's to come, because inthis age of Aquarius, whether
you like it or not, or believeit or not, it's going that way.
And so how can you be on thetrain, as opposed to thinking
everyone's crazy at the station, you know?

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Yeah, so the age of Aquarius.
Is that where we are?
Yeah, we're here now.
Yeah, we're here, we're in it,we're in it.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
So really, this is I'm just to give you a little
astrological background to that.
So Pluto is a very slow-moving,far-out planet, but it has a
big impact Because it's sofar-out.
It's a very slow-moving planet,so planets move through signs
quite quickly.
Like you would all know aboutMercury retrograde, that moves
through quite quickly.
We have a few of those a yearbut Pluto moves really slowly,

(08:41):
so slowly in fact.
You know around 20, 18 to 20years to do a sign, yeah, and we
saw, is the planet of death, destruction, transformation, and
so really it sits in there toreally get deep on whatever that
astrological signs Kind of jamis.
So in the last 20 or 18 soyears it's been in Capricorn,

(09:05):
capricorn's awesome energy, love, Capricorn energy.
But I kind of pythomize Plutoin Capricorn more than the
Kardashians.
It was about going out, gettinglook at me, look at what I can
grab and get Even like that, their dad, what their dad did,
fighting legal systems, beatinglegal systems when clearly His

(09:27):
clients were in the wrong allthat kind of stuff like I can
get mine and Status was reallyrevered in terms of money and
wealth and power.
I like to think of that time aspatriarchy's last hurrah.
So I really hope they enjoy itbecause it's done.
Yeah, yeah, listen, this isnothing against men or anything

(09:51):
like that.
We love our men, but I thinkthat as we go into this age of
Aquarius, where it is going tobe about, actually, who are we
as individuals and how does thatcontribute to the greater good
of all?
That's really all it is.
Yes, there's going to be bigadvancements in politics,
technology, but you know, lasttime this happened it was the

(10:13):
French Revolution In Mozart.
Think about all that kind ofstuff like beautiful, very, very
confronting things.
You know, we're changingstructures, changing the way we
do things.
Power to the people and, aswomen, I think we have a right
to step into our own in terms ofempowerment and leading, with

(10:38):
all the good juicy stuff likeintuition and Fairness and
everyone being looked after, everyone being nurtured.
But as women, we also have avery big responsibility To
nurture our men through that, because they don't know what
their role will be in this andwe really do have to, in a lot
Of ways, teach them, and Ibelieve in my call that men do

(11:01):
want to be taught, men Do wantto be part of this and and they
don't want to be in theirmasculine in terms of I get, I
control.
They want to be in theirmasculine in terms of I provide,
I protect, and so really it's agreat time for everybody.
But, as we all know, we'vealways been in charge right, so

(11:22):
we have to now really own andnot be afraid or ashamed of it
and really celebrate it, and soworking with the moon is one way
in which we are able to reallyget in touch with our innate
nature and our intuition, butalso With our crap that we need
to get rid of and with reallybeing okay with what it is we

(11:44):
desire to.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
I'm curious because I'm I'm like, fascinated by
everything that you're sayingand, for me, astrology I just
I've always had a hard timewrapping my head around it
because there's a lot.
And so, specifically withregards to the moon and you as a
moon mentor, and someone likeme who may be resistant, or you

(12:06):
know, someone comes in andthey're kind of resistant, as
you were when you first weretold this is your path, and
you're like, no, don't think itis.
How do you work with peoplelike that?
Like how would you?
How would you work with yourclients?

Speaker 2 (12:19):
So, in terms of my moon Membership, this is where I
highly value autonomy.
So my membership isn't one inwhich I will see in front of you
and I will lead you.
It's actually one in which, atevery fall and new moon, you
will be provided with atruckload of resources to use To

(12:42):
help guide you through it andfor your and for you to make
sense of your connection to thatmoment and your part, because
that's another big thing withthe age of Aquarius, it is going
to be about sovereignty, whatis right for you, what makes
sense for you, and beingdiscerning about that.
So how I would approach aconversation with someone who

(13:06):
maybe is an exposure is a bitlike.
That's a bit far out, and allthat kind of stuff is one of.
Yeah, I get it.
Of course it's far out becausewe've been told that it is
really silly and stupid forcenturies and we're really cool
than made fun of.
But at the end of the day, allwe really have in this lifetime

(13:27):
is an opportunity to be reallycurious and playful, and so why
wouldn't you be?
I love?
Wayne Dyer used to say we don'tknow enough to not be curious.
He didn't really say it likethat.
He said it much more like whatLee, then I'm saying it, but you
don't know you'll, you neverknow enough to to be really like
anti something or againstsomething you know.

(13:49):
And so to me it's playful, it'scuriosity and yeah, sure, it
might seem silly to the rationalmind, but you know, like
anything, I think if you open toit with a playful curiosity
which, as women, that's the bestpart of being a woman Is to be

(14:10):
curious Then you can discover.
Yes, so much about the world.
But more importantly, workingwith the cycles of the moon is a
journey to the self.
It's a journey toself-discovery, expansion and
Opening and a deep healing path.
So I would say to someone likeyou To totally get it, and if it

(14:33):
doesn't speak to you then thisis not for you.
But if it's slightly curious, then like why?

Speaker 3 (14:41):
wouldn't you play with it?
Yeah, so I'm thinking how do Iphrase this properly?
So I've always been very muchdrawn to the moon, for whatever
reason.
It's just something that it'slike I look up every night or I
have to go look at the moon.
Even my kids are like oh mom,you know the moon, the moon, the
moon, and you know it's sopretty tonight or whatever, and
so there is definitely a naturalinstinct to be drawn to the

(15:04):
moon for me.
So I really want to explorethat, I really want to dive a
little bit deeper to see whatthat meaning is for me.
But even at home, you know, maybe I know it's the full moon
or there's going to be a newmoon coming soon Are there
simple practices that I can doat home that maybe might be a

(15:26):
little bit of a ritual orsomething that can bring in that
energy, or just I don't know ifit's a meditation, I don't know
if it's a crystal cleansingwith the light of the moon at
night?
I mean, is there something Icould do at home?
Just a basic practice?
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
So much but also like so simple little things.
Yeah, but to break it down, really, the moon is, as I said
before, a 29.5 day cycle, butthe peak moments of that moon
cycle are a full and a new moon.
So the new moon actually marksthe start of a moon cycle.
It is when the moon's light isblocked by the sun, so the earth

(16:06):
is not receiving the moon'slight.
So we see this as a really dark, fertile time.
So when a new moon, traditionally what we do is we
set intention, so we think aboutit as seas that we're planting
in deep, dark, fertilized soiland I'll get to how we fertilize
that energetic soil but we sitat a new moon and we think to

(16:26):
ourselves what is it that we dotruly desire and what is really
aligned with us?
So when I started this work, itwas like I desire the mansion
or the amazing man or whateverit was, all these big, stupid
crap that isn't really important.
And the more I work with themoon and understand that the

(16:48):
moon is cycling through thesigns.
So we've just had a full moon.
We're coming up to a new moonin Aquarius.
Prior to that we had the newmoon in Capricorn.
So at that new moon inCapricorn, with that
Capricornian energy and, ofcourse, of the other planets
where they're sitting affected.
And I go through all that everynew moon or full moon in the

(17:10):
Moon of the ship, so you knowwhat's kind of happening.
It gives you a theme or a focus.
So at the last new moon inCapricorn, we were guided to set
big intentions, because it isthe start of the Age of Aquarius
and Capricorn is all about thesummit of the mountain.
They decide what they want andthey go for it.

(17:30):
And so it was like, okay, whatis it that you do really really
want?
Not what society tells you thatyou want or you should have.
What is for right for you, whatdo you really?
And we set that intention Idesire, or I evoke the energy to
align with this path or thisthing.
So you set your intention there.
Now, about two weeks later, afull moon will come, and a full

(17:52):
moon is when the whole moon'slight is shining on us, and
really what we say is that it'slike the spotlight is shining on
us and so nothing can be hidden.
So at a full moon, we get tosee what it is that is blocking
us from our desires or stoppingus from moving forward.
So this is why, at a full moon, you'll hear people say it's a

(18:13):
releasing ceremony or ritual, doI?

Speaker 4 (18:16):
identify.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
What is it that's not allowing me to be at my fullest
, greatest expression orhappiness or purpose or whatever
it is.
And at a full moon, as a ritual, you would write those things
down and you would burn it andrelease it.
So at the full moon, in Leo,leo, energy is all about
spotlight on me.
Throw my hair back, pride, courage, let's go for it.

(18:39):
It's very heart centered.
And so what is it inside of you, deep within, that is actually
blocking you from your greatness?
Is it shame, is itembarrassment, is it self pity,
self judgment, all of that kindof stuff?
So it was a really deeplyinternal one, actually, and you

(19:00):
get to stop and actually thinkabout this stuff.
And because it's a new moon, then a full moon, and then two
weeks later a new moon, you'reconstantly on top of yourself,
or you kind of get into thecycle of oh, it's a new moon,
what is it I intend for myself?
Oh, it's a full moon.
How am I really stuffing thisup?
If you're doing that every twoweeks, then you are completely,

(19:22):
always in relationship withyourself.
It is a very private practice.
Yes, can you sit in mooncircles with other women and
feel their energy?
Of course it's beautiful, butthe work is a deeply private and
deeply individualistic practicebecause only it's sovereignty

(19:43):
right.
This is what this is all about.
Only you can know and beresponsible for the quality of
your life.
And gone are the days wherewe're going to blame external
circumstances.
We are going to takeresponsibility and say what are
the things that I'm doing or notdoing?
So, having released this at thefull moon in Leo, we're in the
moon membership.

(20:03):
We look deep down at our shadow, and that's shame.
You know what we do hold, shameabout what it is that you do
really want or is aligned foryou.
Let's release that.
And it's just that you'renaming it.
Sometimes, naming it, writingit down, is the paid set.
You know, when you facesomething that you've been
hiding it, it loses its power.

(20:23):
And now we're coming up nextweek to a new moon.
I don't know when this is goingto go out, but the cycles are
always same in a new moon and inAquarius.
And now we get to look at.
Actually, you as an individualhave so much to give.
How are you not embracing yourown individuality?
Is it in the clothes thatyou're wearing?
Is it in the way that you'respeaking?

(20:45):
Have you maybe gone down acareer path and you're like I
don't really want to do it thatway, I want to do it my way and
to set intentions around reallygiving yourself permission to
bring you an individualityforward, because this is what
you came for.
You came to be you.
You came to be like everybodyelse under the age of Capricorn,
with everyone with the sameGucci bag, whatever the hell was
going on.

(21:05):
You came to be you.
So what is you?
And I feel women especially, weget so caught up in the service
of others, which I think is sucha privilege but it can be very
overwhelming and we lose a lotof who we are and what it is
that we really want, whetherit's cultural or in society,
expectations or just plain oldbusyness.
So, if you can, on a full moonnight, maybe put out your

(21:28):
crystals, if you have them, orjust sit and think about man,
what am I done doing?
That's the best question.
What am I done doing?
And then, at a new room it's anew opportunity to set an
intention, not a goalnecessarily, but an intention
like I intend.
Simply, I intend to care formyself, I intend to love myself,

(21:49):
I intend to be just a littlebit braver this month, whatever
it is, and the more you do that, the easier and not only that it
gets, but the more interestingit gets, because your whole life
can change based on the factthat you've just given yourself
this moment of attention.

Speaker 4 (22:06):
So we just had the full moon and that's actually
exactly what I did.
And I've been going throughkind of a rut in my life and I
won't say a rut, I mean I amtruly blessed and I do love my
life, but I've had patterns fromthe past that apparently I
didn't learn.
Those lessons start toresurface, and so I recognize

(22:29):
that and have been trying tochange that.
So this past full moon I didexactly that where I was just
writing down all of the thingsthat I'm ready to let go of and
that I'm kind of done with, andthen set it on fire and a lot of
this.
I was discussing with myhusband about some of the
changes that I want to make inmy life and things that I don't

(22:51):
want to do anymore and habitsand patterns that just no longer
serve me, and so I startedwriting those down.
So he came out with me and welit it on fire.
Then the next day because alsohim and I haven't been normally
we're very, very aligned I'll bethinking something and then
he'll email me or text me andvice versa, and that hasn't been

(23:13):
happening lately because ofthese patterns and so wrote it
down, lit it on fire the nextday I was thinking, oh, we
should go on a date.
And then he texts me hey, youwant to go on a date tonight,
you want to go on a dinner date.
And I was like, oh, and here weare again.
So yeah, I think also becauseof the element of fire too.

(23:36):
You know, it just happened soquickly.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
Like I love so much of what you just said.
Just, I want to address themagic of that and I want to
really point out it isn't magic,it is exactly the words you use
.
It's alignment, because when weare mentally, physically,
emotionally, energeticallyreally aligned with anything, it

(23:59):
was yes.
When you started speaking, yousaid I've been going through a
rut.
I don't really want to call ita rut.
My life is blessed.
We're allowed to go throughruts.
We're allowed to feeldisconnected from or
dissatisfied with our lives andas women, if we don't admit that

(24:20):
wholeheartedly, then how can weever really be authentic,
mm-hmm, and so I want to be.
I just want to say like, don'tapologize for not feeling it or
for doing some self-sabotagingthings.
That's human, that's so normal.
And then when you know you'retalking about, you know there's

(24:41):
things I want to change.
I think a lot of our change ordesire to change comes from
dissatisfaction.
But the more I find I work withthe moon cycles, my desire for
change comes from excitement andcomes from a drive towards what
it is that is so authentic andaligned for me.

(25:02):
And it comes from a place ofnot.
I don't like what I've beendoing, I'm dissatisfied with
what I'm doing, but I'm so readyfor the next level and that is
a huge, even though it soundslittle, that is a huge energetic
shift.
So I can't wait, like.
What I would say to you is keepgoing, keep questioning, even

(25:24):
if you don't feel you in a rut.
I had a healer once who said tome I would go to her religiously
every fortnight and I said toher eventually when am I done?
Like I'm good, right?
She said are you serious?
You'll never done healing?
And I was like what?
No?
And it wasn't until I fell inlove.
I thought healing was gettingbetter.

(25:46):
But healing, or self-discoverywork, or working with cycles of
the moon, whatever your vehicleis, is actually the process of
evolving, and I'm so in lovewith the process of evolving I
couldn't imagine not beingcurious about what it is that
has to go release the full moonso something else can come in,

(26:08):
and I love it that you gotimmediate results.
That's clearly what you've had.
There is an energetic shiftinto alignment and obviously
you're going to have to backthat up with your thoughts and
your actions and your choices, and that is hard.
I'm not going to do itperfectly.
Trust me, you're going to getback in your right, but that's
perfect because there's just allstuff for you to understand

(26:29):
about it.
So the deeper that you go, themore authentic and bigger the
shifts get.
It's not just releasing thestuff because I want it to
change.
I'm so motivated to shift itbecause I can see what's
happening Amazing.

Speaker 4 (26:45):
Thank you, I'm like, as I'm sitting here in tears, I
know.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
I saw that it's beautiful.
It's the process of, like yousaid, it's a constant evolution.
It's not necessarily just, oh,I need to change, okay.
Well, let's look at it.
It's that mind shift right Likechange, evolution.
Let's evolve into the nextphase, next story, next journey,
next, whatever it might be, andI just I like that mindset

(27:16):
versus, oh, I need to changethis or this is dumb, I need to
do something different.
But well, let's talk about theevolution of what's going on.
Let's dig a little bit deeper,yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
Because evolution has to be authentic.
Right Because right.
But Shalee is women.
We are told and I'm sure menwill say that the same
experiences exist for them.
But we are told what our lifeachievement markers are you
might get a career, then you getmarried, and then the next one
is you have kids, and then thenext ones you probably lose
weight because you'remiddle-aged, and then the next

(27:46):
one is you lose weight and thenyou lose weight.
And all of this, like we'retold what it is the change that
we need to go through.
Oh, now you're in perimenopauseand now you're in menopause, and
it's all BS.
We're so used to changing forthe external and we're not
taught the magic, as you've justheard, and the gift of really

(28:09):
evolving and that we're supposedto evolve, we're supposed to
heal, we're supposed to expand,we're supposed to be doing all
these things.
And my argument is like ifyou've got this energetic force
in the sky that completelychanges the flow of the oceans
on a daily basis it's thatmagnetic why wouldn't you

(28:33):
harness its energy?
Why wouldn't you want that helpand that support to push you in
your evolution and enjoy theprocess, as opposed to being
like, oh, I'm 20 kilosoverweight, now I have to, or
pounds, or whatever you guyscall it over there Now I have to

(28:53):
change.
Or my husband's left me, now Ihave to change, or I have to go
back to the workforce, now Ihave to change.
No, we get to be constantlyexpanding and flowing and
curious and playful, with thewhole cosmos on our side.
Yes, please, yes, please, yes.

Speaker 3 (29:11):
Yes, I'm so much joy.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Can you be joyful though?
Shouldn't it be joyful?
It is yeah absolutely 100%.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
Absolutely yeah, because it's also autonomy, like
you were talking aboutsovereignty.
Right, it's you, it's you getto be you.
Yeah, which is foreign for so?

Speaker 2 (29:30):
much.
I think that this is thebiggest thing is that, like when
I was getting ready because Iget the moon resources ready
about a week out from each moonjust to make them available to
the moon nephers so that theyhave time to digest it and hear
the guidance and then understandwhat ritual I'm guiding them in
for that and what they're goingto take up, because they don't
have to do it every time.

(29:50):
But when I was looking at thenew moon in Aquarius, I got a
bit nervous from really honest, because it is about like who are
you as an individual, like whatis your specialist?
And I know that's going tomassively stump a lot of people
because when we're about toembrace that and we're not
celebrated for that and we'remade to feel a little bit silly.

(30:11):
The thing I love about whereyou guys live, you've got a
little bit of advantage over.
You know people in Australiaand I think the UK as well,
because culturally we have amassive tall poppy syndrome
going on.
So if you're a little bitspecial, if you're a little bit
successful, you're brought backdown.
But you guys live in a societywhere it's celebrated, where

(30:33):
everyone's like, yeah, go getyours, go be you.
And I think that you shouldharness that and run with it,
because here it's so much harderto do that culturally in a lot
of ways.
So this new moon is going totrigger a lot of people because
purely of that, like, who areyou as an individual?
And it's a question that it'ssad that a woman in her 40s

(30:55):
maybe comes to and goes I don'tknow, and that is day in, day
out.
I see with clients like I don'tknow who I am, I don't know
what I want, I don't know whatmy purpose is, I have no idea
what my path is, I don't evenknow what I like.
I don't know what I like to do.
Yeah, and this is why just thattiny little bit of self-inquiry
at each full-in-you moon Willbegin to start to maybe Unravel

(31:20):
a bit of that or at least getyou curious about it.
Because at every full-in-youmoon, on the moon membership,
you get journal pumps, you getaffirmations, things that just
allow you to get a little bitmore curious about you.
And gone are the days of JoinWeight Watchers and do it like
everybody else and it's gonnawork for you.
Or you know, take this programand do it and you'll get the

(31:45):
same results.
I'm noticing on tiktok at themoment, everyone's selling some
Marketing program or somethingand it's ridiculous amount of
money and then everyone has totake it, make it their own, and
I think guys Don't do it becauseit don't do it.
It's not, it's one-size-fit,all a.
It's like those days are over, but be how boring.

(32:08):
I want to know what you have tooffer, what you think is great.
I want to be inspired by whatlights you up.
I'm getting on this call beforewe hit record Melinda's in her
beautiful San Francisco 49ers.
Jesse Couldn't care less, but Ilove it that she's pumped for

(32:30):
that.
I know that she's probablygonna rush and watch that game
and have the best afternoon.
I love that.
I love that for you and thatyou love that you know, and so
to discover that is has to be aninside job.
No one can do that for you andthat is why I purposely don't
hold like live online eventsevery fall and you ruin, because

(32:50):
it's way too easy to turn upand Sit and have a nice
experience and then go back toyour life, whereas you actually
have to log in, you have toclick the button on your email,
you have to read the resources, you have to decide to put side
of time time aside to do thejournal prompts or maybe sit in
the guy you get a guidedmeditation and every full

(33:11):
enuminal as well.
You have to do that yourself andit's okay.
You don't do it every time, butit's that personal empowerment
of like I am creating the timeto do this.
You created the time to write,to reflect, write that list down
and burn it.
No one forced you to do it.
That's why it was powerful.
But if I had said come to mymoon circle and we did it there,

(33:31):
you would have had subtle onlyexperience.
You would have gone home andtold your husband about it and
Guaranteed next day you wouldnot have got that text
guaranteed.

Speaker 3 (33:39):
I think that's gonna be my new motto.
This is an inside job, aninside job very much.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Yeah, move out of my way you know, relationships
really tough and they're like, you know, and I'm telling him
what I want and I'm telling whatI'm like, no, you're not.
You're telling him what heisn't doing.
But is what he isn't doingreally what you want?
You don't know what you wantbecause you don't even know
yourself.
But yeah, so afraid to goinside and see because it might

(34:13):
make the outside and how theirlife looks not what they want.
And then, once they know it'snot what they want, they ever
have to learn to live with it orchange it.
And that's my people freak out.

Speaker 4 (34:24):
But I'm like guys, it's so, whether it's a weather,
yeah, so, christian, I know I'mlike we are coming up on time
and we could talk to you forhours.
Yeah, oh, christian.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
Oh, there's, there's so much, there's so much.
One more question, really quick, because I know we are coming
up on time and again.
This might be a very stupidquestion, but, as Marlene had
mentioned before, astrology isvery it's like mind-blowing
because there's just so much.
So we are in the time ofAquarius and that lasts for how

(34:58):
long is that?
The like 20 year cycle You'rekind of talking about like with
Pluto or like what?
How long is that period?

Speaker 2 (35:04):
So full disclosure I'm not an astrologer because
you're very knowledgeable.
Because the moon cycles are solinked to astrology.
Yeah, thank you me.
Or birth chart.
I'd be like that's a prettypicture.

Speaker 3 (35:22):
Don't know what that means.
I love all the triangles.

Speaker 2 (35:27):
You gotta throw a lot of shapes in your life.
I don't know, but the more youdo something you did, the just
more you know about it, likethis has been right now, 15
years for me doing this.
You know, and so you just learnabout it.
So I know about astrology inrelation to the moon or where
the planets are sitting and theimpact that they're having at
that time.
So, in terms the age ofAquarius, so we went into it, we

(35:51):
dipped into it for a couple ofmonths last year, went in it now
.
So Pluto has moved intoAquarius for the next 20 odd
years and and it will dip outthough later this year Pluto
goes back into Capricorn for twomonths, but just two months,
and then it settles back intoAquarius for, let's just say,
our foreseeable future and withthat that's just a normal cycle,

(36:17):
like it happens all the time.
So we know, for example, likeI'm 44 now, so the age of
Capricorn started when I was inmy late 20s, when really my and
for that time, and especiallybecause of the star signs I am
like my birth chart that was areal kicker for me.
The last 13 years have beenreally, really hard.

(36:39):
These next 20 years aresupposed to be really good, but
I think I've earned them, so I'mreally here for that, but
collectively.
What it means as a collectiveis that it's almost like humans
have come to this point whereit's like, oh, if things don't
change, we are not going tosurvive, and the impact,

(37:03):
basically what Pluto does, isreally get to the death and
destruction and then rebirthingand rebuilding of everything
Aquarius touches.
So, like I said before, aquarius is all about power to
the people, what's good for thewhole.
You can be as individualisticas you like, but if it takes
away from the whole aka thestark differences, the

(37:25):
Kardashians like you can be you, great, be you, but you're
taking away from the whole.
Because you're hoarding thewealth, you're putting yourself
kind of on a pedestal.
You're completely contortingeven your physical body for
something that some other peoplecan't have.
Basically, that had nothing todo with what Aquarius is about,
which is individualism, ownpersonal gifts, and so basically

(37:49):
, this arrow wants us to show upas ourselves, with our gifts
for the good of all, not to takefrom others.
It is very feminine energy.
It's like if you had childrenover for a play day.
It's not like OK, that kid isreally assertive, so they should

(38:11):
have more of a snack than thatkid.
It's like no, it's too good foreveryone.
Everyone gets it all.
One kid's allergic to peanuts.
No one has peanuts, that'stotally fine and everyone's
happy to get on board type thing.
So this is why women are reallygoing to come into leadership,
because it's a very feminine wayof looking at things and I
would be shocked if, at the endof these 20 years, our world

(38:33):
leaders weren't a lot of womenand men, I hope, really find
their groundedness and theirprivilege of being a man who
gets to really protect andsupport the work of women.
So for us as women that's whatI was saying before it's a huge

(38:53):
privilege, it's a great time, especially at our age, because
we're smart, we've lived, we'vegot experience.

Speaker 4 (39:00):
Right.

Speaker 2 (39:00):
And it's our obligation to step, in the age
of Aquarius, into the truth ofwho we are and really enjoy
being that.
It's a privilege to be you.
You chose to be born here atthis time.
Do not waste that opportunity, and it doesn't really matter
what other people think of you.
If they pick it up or put itdown, who cares?
It's about you.
Full permission to yourself tobe who it is that you want to be

(39:21):
and how it is that you want tobe it for the good of others.

Speaker 4 (39:25):
I hope that answers your question and that is such a
beautiful way to end thisepisode.
So, kirsten, thank you so muchfor joining us.

I think, even just from what Ijust said, sitting in front of
three women who are workingtogether the name of your
podcast exemplifies the age ofAquarius Three very different
women, three very differentfocuses, purposes, missions, and
how that can come together towork for all Like you, exemplify

(40:04):
exactly everything that we'vejust talked about.

small in terms of the productrange, but I have launched my
