Reaching the milestone 100th episode of A World Gone Mad places this podcast in an exclusive club. Only 5.54% of all podcasts ever reach triple digits, with 90% quitting after just three episodes. To celebrate this achievement, host Jeff Alan Wolf delivers his powerful State of the Union address examining the most critical issues facing America today.

Women’s Rights, The Economy, Gun Laws, Voting Rights, Election Integrity, Abortion, Immigration, Global Warming, Ukraine/Russia, and Trump and the Republicans.

The episode concludes with a candid assessment of Democratic leadership and a heartfelt appeal for listener engagement.

After 16 months of podcasting, Jeff acknowledges the toll of speaking into what sometimes feels like a void. He urges listeners to email resistdonaldnow@gmail.com or call 833-399-9653 with their thoughts, emphasizing how meaningful even a brief message can be.

This milestone episode isn't just a retrospective—it's a catalyst for deeper conversation about healing America's divisions and preserving democracy amid what truly feels like a world gone mad.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is a world gone mad.
This is a world gone mad, mad, mad, mad, mad.
Hello, I'm Jeff Allen Wolfe andI give my commentary on
national and world news andpolitics.
This is definitely a world gonemad and it's episode number 100

(00:21):
.
I've reached the big 100.
And if you have not heard myexplanation of this milestone
before, I will repeat it.
In the podcast world, this ishard to reach 100 episodes.
Let me give you the officialexplanation.
Approximately only 5.54% Of allpodcasts currently available

(00:45):
reach 100 episodes.
A significant portion ofpodcasts do not continue beyond
their initial few episodes.
90% don't make it past thethird episode and of those
remaining, 90% will quit after20 episodes.
Reaching 100 episodes thereforeputs a podcast within the top

(01:08):
few percentage of those thathave been created.
So A World Gone Mad hasachieved 100.
And if you'd like to say hello, then email me.
Tell me if you've beenlistening from the start or you
just started recently.
It would be nice to read someemails from you, or you just
started recently.
It would be nice to read someemails from you.

(01:29):
Resistdonaldnow at gmailcom.
Resistdonaldnow at gmail.
Okay, so I wanted to dosomething a little different
with this 100th episode and Iwanted to give a state of the
union on where we stand in thiscountry.
So first, for those of you whoare new, who am I?
Also, where do I stand on theissues?
Well, I've been doing this fora while now.

(01:50):
Listeners, I'm not an amateur.
I've been broadcasting 40 plusyears in the television and
radio world.
I did terrestrial radio in thenumber 12 market in Florida.
I've been doing a World GoneMad now for 16 months.
Okay, so enough about that.
Where do I stand on the issues?

(02:11):
This episode is going to beapproximately 23 or 24 minutes,
so stay with me.
I've got a lot to cover.
Let me go over what I feel arethe most important issues right
now in our country, in noparticular order.
I just listed them on a pieceof paper earlier today as they
came across my mind.

(02:32):
And again, neither one of theseissues are more important than
the others.
Each one may affect you, thelistener, differently or may not
affect you at all, may affectyou, the listener differently or
may not affect you at all.
I'm sure after I get sometalking about them, you'll say,
hey, jeff, what about this issue?
Or hey, jeff, what about thatissue?

(02:52):
Good, that's when you can writeme an email and tell me what I
left out and why it's importantto you.
That's where I get to hear fromyou and your thoughts.
Okay, let's go.
Women's rights I am so sick andtired of what half our country
has done against women.
First of all, equal pay forequal work.

(03:14):
I am so fed up with this notbeing the norm.
Pay people with the same skillset for the same job.
What other people with the sameskill set would that job do?
I don't care whether you're aman or woman.
It's fucking common sense and Iwish, for the most part, the
Republicans would use some ofthat fucking common sense.

(03:36):
Secondly, women in the military.
Have you noticed and I say thissarcastically what Donald the
Delusional One has done in hisfirst 100 days?
That women with high rankingcommands are being fired.
That's a bunch of garbage, andwomen again are being

(03:57):
systematically torn down.
I realized I could go on and onwith each of these issues.
This is my overview right offthe bat.
With women's rights and as faras a woman becoming president, a
woman's ability to lead, wakethe hell up America.
Margaret Thatcher, golda Meir,etc.

(04:18):
When a qualified woman runs forthe office of president, the
men who are insecure.
Better get over it and realizethe guys have screwed things up
for hundreds of years.
It's time for the women to takecharge.
Let me talk about gun control, school shootings, gun violence.

(04:39):
When will it stop?
When will the Republicans, forthe most part, grow some balls
and realize that enough isenough of having kids blown away
, and teachers as well, inschool shootings?
When will gun laws, responsiblegun laws, take place?
And let's stop kissing ass tothe NRA.

(05:03):
I have zero concern aboutwaiting for a gun permit for a
new gun I purchase.
I have no fears of them doing abackground check on me before I
can purchase a gun.
I have zero concern aboutregistering my guns.
There is not one Democrat thatI know of that said they wanted

(05:23):
to take guns away from people.
That's bullshit and thattalking point from the
Republicans has to stop.
We have too many lunatics whoshouldn't have a weapon running
around and blowing the hell outof our kids at schools.
And you know when will it stop?
When Republican senators orcongressmen and women have one

(05:46):
of their children killed in oneof these school shootings.
That's when they may wake up.
Look, people need to wake thefuck up and decide to establish
real gun laws.
But who am I kidding?
They talk about it.
We have another shooting aboutone or two months later.
They talk about it.
We have another shooting aboutone or two months later and it's
the same crap over and overagain from the Republican

(06:10):
leadership.
Do something substantial.
A lot of issues to cover.
Next for me global warming, solar power.
Look, natasha, and I live inArizona.
There's no such thing as globalwarming.
Forgive me while I laugh myfreaking ass off.
The idiotic comments with noscientific basis made by these

(06:33):
jack-offs who have no cluewhat's happening in the real
world of science state thatglobal warming is a hoax.
Seriously, we should have donesomething about global warming
40 years ago.
Temperatures are getting sohigh that soon it will be

(06:54):
uninhabitable to live here inArizona and other places like
Nevada, etc.
Where the heat is also justgoing to rise.
Water availability is alsobecoming a major problem.
Flooding from oceans risingfaster than the scientists
predicted is causing major orwill cause major damage in 20 to
50 years.
Yet Donny Boy removes us fromthe Paris Climate Agreement

(07:19):
Lunacy, stupidity, not giving ashit about our planet and
totally ignoring the obvioussigns that have happened for
years.
Global warming is real.
Yes, solar energy is importantand, yes, fusion and nuclear
energy have to come into thisequation, but global warming
make no mistake is 100% real.

(07:41):
Mistake is 100% real, and ifyou, the listener, don't feel
that, then you need to tell meyour views and offer me evidence
on why you think I'm wrong.
Here's another fun one Votingrights and election integrity.
Don't get me started on this.
We have systematically orrather, the Republicans have

(08:02):
systematically destroyed therights of people to vote.
Mail-in ballots are called intoquestion, redistricting areas
so less black people have avoice or other people don't get
to vote.
All these stupid, silly, bullshit laws that the
Republicans are doing to takeaway our rights to vote.

(08:23):
It's enough to make you cry.
Here's what I want to seehappen.
Number one a national holidaywhere everyone has the day off
to vote and you don't get yourpaycheck or your Social Security
check for that week until youvoted an election and you prove

(08:44):
that you voted.
Then you receive your paycheckor social security check or, if
you don't vote, your driver'slicense is taken away or
suspended until you vote.
Ideas like this will givepeople time to vote and make it
mandatory for everyone to givetheir voice in an important
election.
Next, I want all the votingmachines in all states removed

(09:10):
and new machines installed, because I don't trust Elon Musk.
He may have compromised ourvoting system Now, if nothing
was done, great, but let'srefresh the voting machines
correctly from a bipartisancompany and make sure the
integrity of our electionsbecomes what they should be.
Next, and pardon my language, get rid of the fucking electoral

(09:34):
college.
It is archaic, it is stupid.
Popular vote wins, mary getsmore votes than Tom, guess what.
Mary's elected to whateveroffice she was running for.
No more electoral collegebullshit.
But the Republicans don't wantthat because they will never win
a presidential election againif the electoral college was

(09:56):
gone.
Here's one close to everyone'sheart Health care, affordability
.
Health Healthcare is a joke inour country and now the
Republicans are going afterMedicaid and Medicare.
They have no boundaries in whatthey're willing to destroy.
We need to expand coverage, notshrink it, and I know some of

(10:18):
you may need hearing coverageand I understand that.
But to me, the number one mostimportant thing to add to
healthcare expansion is dentalcoverage.
Millions of Americans need helpwith dental.
It amazes me that we arecovered for basics of dental but

(10:38):
not for more important thingslike implants.
$40,000 for implants is a joke.
Recovered for basic things witheyesight, but not for more
important things like cataractsurgery, higher-end cataract
surgery.
Republicans need to starttaking care of the citizens in

(10:59):
our country and stop worryingabout their wallets and bank
accounts.
You want to be liked Donald?
Then start showing some friggincompassion for the people who
and stop worrying about theirwallets and bank accounts.
You want to be liked Donald?
Then start showing somefriggin' compassion for the
people who live here.
Let's talk about abortion.
For the record, I'm againstabortion.
Hear me out.
This is a volatile firestorm ofan issue.

(11:21):
So, even though I'm againstabortion, it is not the right of
the government to decide what awoman wants to do with her own
body.
It's not the decision of localgovernment, nor the decision of
the federal government, or evenfor a doctor to decide.
The doctor can advise the womanand that's all.

(11:42):
It's still up to the woman tomake a decision to have or not
have an abortion.
It's similar to my belief thatI could be against a certain war
somewhere in the world.
That doesn't mean I'm againstthe troops.
I can have it both ways.
So I'm against abortion, butthe woman gets to decide, no one

(12:03):
else.
People Hands off Immigration.
Immigration is a mess and forthose that state everything is
wonderful on the border, theyare kidding themselves.
For those other people and I'mtalking about the Republicans
who say Biden screwed everythingup and Democrats are for open

(12:27):
borders, I call bullshit.
Except for Native Americans whowere born here.
All of us, that's right.
Republican Senator, you knowwho you are.
Or Republican Congressman, orwoman, you know who you are.
All of us come from immigrants.
In our family history, ourfamily tree, are mostly

(12:51):
immigrants.
Don't you dare forget that.
Donald, I'm looking at youdirectly in your eyes, look.
Do some people need to beremoved from our country?
Absolutely, but are the peoplein charge now?
Are these the ones we want todecide who to deport?
Absolutely not.
This is a roundup.
Absolutely not.

(13:11):
This is a roundup.
This is a collection ofso-called undesirable people and
they don't want them here inour country.
Does this sound familiar to youpeople?
The person who did this beforeway back.
His name begins with the letterH.
You know that guy in Germanyand no, I'm not making

(13:33):
ridiculous connections Germany, and no, I'm not making
ridiculous connections Randomlyand massively collecting people
with no thorough investigationsand deporting them is plain
criminal.
Getting to a volatile one that'scurrently in the news on a
daily basis Russia-UkraineRussia Ukraine.

(13:54):
Fact Russia invaded Ukraine.
Fact Russia wants all ofUkraine.
Fact Putin wants Zelensky dead.
Fact Donald Trump loves PutinBirds of a feather.
A permanent ceasefire, even atemporary ceasefire, is an
illusion.
Ceasefire even a temporaryceasefire, is an illusion.

(14:15):
Russia needs to be stopped withthe Ukraine war because of the
potential for Russia to continuefurther into Europe.
Military experts see this andintelligent people understand
this.
The reality is Ukraine needsair support and a lot more
weapons and money to turn thetide against Russia.

(14:37):
A further reality is that theUnited States cannot give
everything that Ukraine needs.
If we did, this conflict wouldgrow tenfold.
And a further statement of factDonald Trump is in over his
head.
He was never intelligent enoughor had the background, even

(14:58):
with the people around him, tohave the ability to de-escalate
conflicts like this.
Stop Russia soon.
Stop Russia now.
Oh, the price of those eggs.
Yep.
I'm talking about the economynext.
The economy is in a wobblystate right now because of

(15:19):
Trump's tariffs.
Warren Buffett stated thatimposing tariffs on other
countries is like declaring war.
Tariffs don't work.
We, the citizens, wind uppaying for it with higher prices
of goods.
This country needs fiscallysane and intelligent people to
help our economy get stronger.

(15:40):
Now, with a potential recessionlooming, even though China and
the United States justpotentially signed a trade
agreement today, now is the timefor you, the listener, to
gather supplies Water, cannedgoods, paper goods, pet foods,
etc.
Natasha and I are activelyrevisiting our list in the last

(16:01):
few days and gathering itemsfrom the stores.
This is not a doomsday scenarioon our part.
This is not us with ridiculoushoarding.
This is being smart andprepared.
I suggest you, the listener, dothe same if you can financially
.
Even gathering a few dayssupplies will help you if the

(16:22):
shit hits the fan because ofDonald's tariffs.
So all of these problems, all ofthese issues are in the hands
of Trump and the Republicans.
Donald the delusional one andthe Republicans who are
genuflecting in hands of Trumpand the Republicans Donald the
delusional one and theRepublicans who are genuflecting
in front of Trump are a hugedanger to America and the world.

(16:43):
Right now.
The Republicans have a bunch oflunatics running the asylum.
Trump keeps putting people inplace who have no background
whatsoever to be in charge ofall the various departments.
They were let loose to domassive layoffs of federal
workers, they were given theability of accessing our
personal information.

(17:04):
The power to dismantle wholedepartments is a blatant
disregard for our country andthe rights of our citizens.
I hope, and I'm sure a lot ofyou, if not all of you, agree
that we need to get these peopleout of office and the midterms
are the first chance we'll have.
But there's question on whetherthe midterms will happen the

(17:25):
way we would like them to, orthat there will even be a vote
to allow us to elect people atthe midterms.
Allow us to elect people at themidterms.
These fringe particles of DNAthat don't do anything for the
organism called America need tobe removed from the equation
legally, peacefully and throughthe rule of law, but they need

(17:49):
to go.
Until this happens, thiscountry is in dangerous hands
under Trump and his minions.
Which now leads me and finallyto our democratic leadership.
Look, I'm a Democrat and I'm aprogressive Democrat.
I'm sure not everyone willagree with my following

(18:11):
viewpoints.
I feel our democraticleadership, for the most part,
stinks.
We are sorely lacking with true, visionary leaders, people who
reinvigorate and re-energize ourcountry to reach the vision
that is there for us to be atthe highest peak ever in the

(18:31):
history of America, the peopleI've supported in the past, like
Barack Obama, bill Clinton, bernie Sanders, elizabeth Warren
, just to name a few.
These are people who wanted tomake a difference.
I will never vote for aRepublican, although I admired
Teddy Roosevelt and what he didfor the establishment of the

(18:52):
national park system.
I admired Lincoln and for whathe had to deal with.
Having said that, I don't seeany Democratic leaders that
moved the needle for me and, forthe record, I wasn't against
Kamala Harris, but she was thewrong choice to go against
Donald Trump.
Don't shoot me.

(19:13):
I'm offering you my honestopinion.
Hear me out.
She had to be the one runningbecause if we bypassed her, it
would have looked bad.
Joe Biden a lot of you don'tagree needed to step down
earlier to give anyone runningagainst Trump a chance for a

(19:33):
long campaign to becomepresident.
Josh Shapiro, intriguing JBPritzker, intriguing Cory Booker
, pete Buttigieg all interestingbut all incomplete as leaders.
I don't know what the answer is.
Wolfpack listeners, but we arein a world of hurt in our

(19:53):
country.
We need a true, inspiring, uplifting, visionary to expand
our country to an incredibleheight that it has never seen
before.
Maybe you, the listener, havesome suggestions, who you'd vote
for and why, and you think I'mwrong?
Then share with me yourviewpoints.

(20:15):
Look, I'm sure there are adozen more issues that are
happening in America that Ineglected in this episode to
mention, not because I don'tthink they're important, but
there's only so much time in a20-minute or less podcast
episode.
I'm not an expert in all theseissues and I don't play one on

(20:35):
TV, as they say, but I'm likeyou, a citizen of America.
I'm someone like you who wantsour country to be healed.
I want us to understand thediversity in our country and
embrace it.
We need to purge the hatredfrom these groups of people on
the other side.
We need to get past this brokengovernment that we've had for

(20:58):
decades.
We need to be excited about ourcountry.
That's why I hate the phrasemake America great again.
I think it's a bullshit phrase.
It doesn't mean I don't want tomake America great, but they,
the other side, use that sloganas a mask to hide their bigotry

(21:21):
and economic lust of the peoplewho embrace that phrase From the
movie with Jack Lemon and JamesGarner called my Fellow
Americans.
Ladies and gentlemen, theRepublicans are just one big
facade.
There's nothing wrong with ourcountry that one million
bandages, a lot of disinfectantand tens of thousands of bottles

(21:46):
of hydrogen peroxide can't cure.
And yes, there is an enemywithin.
Trump says this repeatedly, butit ain't us to kill the King's
English.
It's them.
They're the enemies againstfreedom.

(22:08):
They're the people who hateanyone who's not white or who is
from another country, or women,or the middle class or the
lower class.
Now is not the time to hide.
I've said it before.
I'm going to say it until I'mblue in the face.
Stop texting me and saying youdon't listen to my podcast
Because this is just too muchfor you to handle right now.
That's a cop out and Iunderstand it can be
overwhelming.

(22:28):
I really get it.
But you need to stay connected.
You need to be engaged inwhat's happening to us and our
country.
You don't need to do it on anhourly basis, everyone and do it
every day of the week, butdon't hide, don't run, don't sit
in the corner and give up.
I need each and every one of youto stop scrolling hour upon

(22:52):
hour each day to find someone topick a fight with from the
Republican side.
I need you to stop trying tofind the funniest or most
sarcastic memes to share withothers.
Those things that a lot of youdo are time consuming and,
frankly, a waste of your timeand energy.
Engage with others.
Have meaningful conversations, not bullshit discussions, not

(23:18):
the same shit that everyone andhis brother are discussing.
Wake up everyone.
Concentrate on your health, concentrate on those close to
you.
Make a difference in your day, your week, your month and your
year.
Look, I've been doing this forover 16 months.
I have a core group of peoplethat listen and once in a blue
moon, one of them sends me anemail.
100th episode, everyone thisone, and if you're not going to

(23:42):
use my email now, you never will.
I'm requesting of you, thelistener, for you to show some
courtesy towards me by giving meyour thoughts about today's
episode.
There's a lot here to discuss.
I'm not saying I'm right oneverything, but your silence and
apathy is not needed right nowfor me personally.

(24:03):
I need your responses andthoughts.
Resistdonaldnow at gmailcom.
Resistdonaldnow 833-399-9653.
That's the tollfree, 24 hours aday, 7 days a week voicemail
box that would be nice for someof you to use as well.

(24:24):
I need to regroup from my 101stepisode and on for the rest of
the year and figure out thedirection I'm going to go with
this podcast and whether I haveone person saying hello or
hundreds, I need to press on.
I say this with all humbleness.
I hope you believe me.
I put a lot of work into thispodcast three times a week, and

(24:46):
money and, like I said before, Idon't do this to earn money.
I certainly didn't do this formy health.
If anything, it takes a toll onmy health each week.
The one thing that makes adifference to me and that helps
is when one of you actuallygives me a comment through email
or voice message or text.
It makes a huge difference.

(25:06):
You have no clue how importantthat is to me, so please email
me and contact me.
Facebook is basically dead.
You need to recognize that andneed to leave from a social
media group that doesn't believein freedom of speech.
The more you stay on Facebook, the more you encourage them and

(25:26):
support them.
Please give seriousconsideration to what I'm saying
.
I'm Jeff Alan Wolfe.
I do a podcast called the WorldGone Mad and this country, and
the reason why I named mypodcast that name is because it
is a world gone mad, 100thepisode.
Ladies and gentlemen, I will beback again in two days and,

(25:49):
being repetitive for themillionth time, without your
comments, without your feedback, without your thoughts.
I'm sitting in a room talkingto myself, and I'm tired of
doing that.
It's up to you, the listener.
Now you have the most receptivepodcast host out there that

(26:09):
actually engages with hislisteners, unlike other podcast
hosts.
Please take advantage of that.
Stay hopeful.
There is chaos in the world, can't you see?
And we need to stand up andpreserve our democracy.
This is a world gone mad.

(26:39):
This is a world gone mad.
