Doing it deeper with Alan D. Wheeler

Hello Aaron,
This is Alan. I’m 59 years old and currently living in Roseburg, a small town in southern Oregon. I’m 59 years old, born on April 15, 1965.

I’m an aspiring musician. I play bass guitar, primarily, but can also play drums and percussion. I am a level I Usui Reiki practitioner. In my past, I’ve had jobs teaching adaptive technology to blind adults.

My podcast “Five Strings & Random things” was me talking about my life, in general, as a musician and about life in San Francisco. I moved to Oregon after my fiancee, Donna passe away in October of 2023. I couldn’t afford San Franciiscos cost of living on my own, and two of my very best friends invited me to move here and live with them. One of them, my friend David, is my bass guitar mentor. He started me playing back in August, 2015.

So, that’s a capsule version of who I am and what my life is.
