The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in today’s college students. Denison University’s Julie Tucker, Director of Family Engagement and Professional Network, ensures that students and alumni have the tools to clear a path to success. Revel Coach’s cofounders Alison Nissen and Marcy Stoudt credit their success to connecting with Julie, the Denison Network, the innovative Denison Red Frame Lab, and the ReMix Entrepreneurial Summit (a program for alums by alums).
Julie recently moved from Denison’s Division of Student Life to the Division of Institutional Advancement to fill the newly created director of family engagement and the Denison Professional Network position. In her role as associate vice president of student life, she oversaw multiple departments within the division, including Orientation & First-Year Experience, the Red Frame Lab, the Ann & Thomas Hoaglin Wellness Center, and Campus Safety. In partnership with the Red Frame Lab, she worked closely with RED Corps, a team of student leaders who use design thinking to solve campus problems, by engaging the voices of fellow students.
