Financial Joy Academy (FJA) is a membership site that was set up by Ken and Mary Okoroafor in March 2020. Their core mission is to help 10,000 families achieve financial independence this decade. 

Mary and Ken are in their 30’s and achieved financial independence in 10 years. They became mortgage free in 7 years from a 25 year mortgage whilst raising two young sons. 

Ken is a first generation immigrant who moved to the UK aged 14. He went on to train as a Chartered Accountant and worked as a Chief Financial Officer for investment management businesses in London. 

He started his successful blog The Humble Penny 3 years ago whilst in his busy job. Ken quit his city job in early 2020 to focus more on family life and growing his business full time with his wife Mary. 

FJA has been created to help people at all stages to take action, get practical knowledge and support to stay motivated to reach Financial Independence faster.

The aim of FJA is to show people practically how they can do the same but a lot faster using Ken and Mary’s experiences in creating businesses, property, investing, etc.
