Consistency is the key to success in any sport and without a doubt Duke has been pretty darned consistent in hoops. The same hasn't been the case in football which has seemed like an after thought in years past. Times change and the need to be successful on the field as well as the court go hand in hand. Mike Elko helped move the program out of the 'it's just good enough' phase and now Manny Diaz is upping the game. Special guest, Conor O'Neill the publisher of Devils Illustrated joins ACC Nation to provide a preview of the upcoming season. O'Neill points out that Diaz is moving the offense from a limited delivery system into one that will keep defenses on their toes. Duke Depth and experience are key factors on the defensive side of the ball as well. It takes time recruiting and dipping into the Transfer Portal to bring a solid product together.
