Week 14 is behind us, the ACC Championship Game is in front of us and who knows what is lurking for CFP Sunday. Complain, belittle, whine about the conference all you want but the fact is you haven’t had these k...

Isn’t a bit baffling that people are complaining about the wild and wooly world of ACC football? As if adding some excitement into their weekend was some kind of bad thing? Get real folks. Embrace the madness as it is truly epic. We’ve never had so much to talk about at this point in the season in years and that includes Coastal Chaos, which on the face of it was just ‘click-bait’ anyway. There’s no de...
After watching several weeks of unusual and unexpected finishes in ACC football who would have imagined Duke having a shot at the ACC Championship Game? That’s right folks, the Blue Devils could be in line for a trip to Charlotte but let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves just yet. The conference standings have Georgia Tech, Virginia, SMU, Pitt and Duke lined up with one loss thus far. Duke still has 3 games to go, Vi...
ACC football and madness prevails late into the season. Alright bingo card holders, who had Virginia atop the conference at this point? On the menu this week we have upsets, overtime, close calls and one too many people tossing around the term, team of destiny. Hold on there porkchop! There’s four more weeks and no on...
It might be considered ‘beating a dead horse’ to continue harping on how much parity NIL and the Transfer Portal has brought to college football. The thing is, it’s a solid truth as evidenced by the up’s and down’s in every conference. You see it every week in the scoreboards, the number of upsets, overtime games and an unreal number of Top 25 teams showing themselves the exit or disappearing altogethe...
Who for a hot minute didn’t think that NIL and the Transfer Portal would have an even greater impact on college basketball than it has in football? Special guest Jason Carmello of Big Underdog Bracketology joins Will and Jim to preview the teams that will be making an impression upon men’s hoops fans this season.

What is ACC football? A wild adventure every week that feels a bit like the movie, ‘Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle’. Parity has kicked in and there are more teams than ever before capable of fighting for a spot among the top tier of the conference. Granted this weekly topsy-turvy field of fun may not sit well with some fanbases (depending on the week) the most amusing thing is watching national pundits try to disavow ho...
ACC football has entered the back half of the regular season and the countdown to the conference championship and bowl eligibility has begun. Apparently there are still some surprises available in the weekly grab bag both from teams and individuals.
The shorter schedule, seven teams were on bye weeks, still presented some fun ball. The wow-factor kicked in with Pitt and their true freshman QB Mason Heintschel who battled it out wi...

Let’s just say, the title, Altered Expectations, Performance Issues is spot on though it sound...
College football across the board was wild and wooly. From upsets to close calls it was a pucker up weekend for fans. The ACC began it’s weekend with a Friday night clash of leaders in offensive delivery as Florida State visited Virginia for a game that, on paper, sure seemed like a shoe-in for the Noles. As the clock wound down the slipper found on the stairs belonged to the Wahoos.
Wins, losses and some head-scratching out-comes are all part of what makes ACC football so dynamic week to week. Will and Jim start off with some interesting news on added games for the future, thoughts on the ACC Network and The CW and reflect on why Clemson fans who are calling for Dabo’s head should take a chill pill with a big swig of Upstate’s finest shine.
Week 4 has allowed us to shake off enough dust off teams ...
