The WNBA is back in the headlines again and that may not be so bad. You know they say any attention is good attention. Hopefully the attention translates to viewership and sales. But what’s really good on the court filled with ladies?
In a recent interview with Jemele Hill, several factors were outlined that highlighted sports dynamics taking place in the WNBA. What may be old to some and new to others, it’s still worth the discussion. At the top of the discussion is race and how much does it factor in sports?
As a new rookie garners attention, another rookie seems to get less shine. Is it because Angel Reese is a confident black woman and Caitlin Clark embodied the apple pie American image? Or is this just part of the game?
There’s a lot that can be said and of course we add to the conversation. Check out Episode 178 and join the conversation. Leave a comment, Like, Share and don’t forget to subscribe!
