The 2024 Paris Olympics are in full swing. This year is definitely one for the books. Not sure if there are any record books involved. But in our household, it’s for sure a record for us. The excitement, anticipation, and exhilaration before, during, and after each event is like we’ve never experienced before during any Olympics. Needless to say, we are fans.
What makes this year so different? Not really sure. Maybe it’s needing to have something exciting to replace the chaos in the political arena with a different type of arena. The competitive spirit, team camaraderie, the shrills of joy. It all feels good, right?!?
As we continue to celebrate the wins, whether gold, silver or bronze, we brace for what’s to come in our future. Even if it’s just for 19 days of flips, dives, and sprints, we’re here for it. Team USA keep making us proud.
