📢 In this episode of Freedom Pulse, we break down the latest from Jefferson City.

👉 We start with the final meetings of the House Special Interim Committee on Property Tax Reform — where bureaucrats showed once again they’re more concerned with protecting government revenues than protecting Missouri families. We expose the State Tax Commission’s backtracking on the Ombudsman position and why taxpayers can’t trust them without constant pressure.

👉 Then we cover the Governor’s Special Session: from redistricting, which should have been completed in 2022 but only happened now under pressure from President Trump, to Initiative Petition Reform, where politicians once again pulled the football away from the grassroots. Instead of protecting the people’s voice, they grabbed more power for themselves.

⚠️ Both HB 1 (redistricting) and the Governor’s preferred IP bill passed the House this week, but they represent political theater more than true reform. The only ones cheering these moves will be the politicians themselves — not the people of Missouri.

We’ll be back in two weeks with a regular episode. In the meantime, follow us on social media for breaking updates and special reports.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
