(00:11):
Hey guys, this is Amy. Lyndon I started this podcast
for you because I am here to help Empower you because you are
enough. I am here to help you get to the
next level in your career. And most of the times, it has
everything to do with what you think about yourself.
I am a booking coach celebrity booking coach 54, plus Network,

(00:35):
series regulars, and Emmy winnerand image in Winter.
And thousands of people working around the globe, all because of
this technique that I created, Ireally want to help you.
So I do believe that if you keeplistening, you might pick up
some gem that I am dropping downand it will change the course of

(00:56):
your entire career. If you don't have an Olympic
purposeful mind, all of that Temptation and all of the sudden
self-sabotage and and the perfectionism and the issues

(01:17):
that we struggle with his going to slow you down.
And if you're okay with that, then fine, but I will tell you
this, I know what Champions looklike.
And for some reason, they just go right through all of that
muck. And it's not like it doesn't hit

(01:38):
them. There's no like that their
superhero and they put their Shield up in a goes bing, bing
bing. It's not that they acknowledge
it but it does not take them down.
If anything, it brings them moreenergy to push forward to the
next level. And unfortunately, as an artist,

(02:02):
you're struggling with your sensitivity.
So sometimes it's really hard tomove through it.
I'm not saying it's right, I'm not saying it's wrong.
I'm just stating a fact. The people that I knew that had
the ability to push through quickly made it very fast.

(02:26):
Now I can't necessarily say thatthey're great people okay just
as a secret between you and I here's a quality that all of
those guys have and say narcissism and it's an arrogant
skin, C and that's selfishness but filled with fucking Talent.

(02:46):
And I'm not saying you need to be those three things to make it
either, but people might call you that it doesn't matter what
the reason is, it doesn't matterthat your father left, you out
in the cold and Soldier, dog, none of it matters.
The people that make it, those things, don't matter, they just

(03:07):
have a purpose and they go for that purpose.
And most of them had massive is a massive amount of Love growing
up. Almost over loved.
Most of them. They felt that they had the
ability to do anything and everything.

(03:30):
Because the reasons why we become an actor is the same
reason why we're not working. So what I'm explaining to you is
we can sit all day and talk about why things happen.
It's not even this lecture at all, find a way to get through
it fast and don't let it take you down because getting on have

(03:52):
those tools of somebody saying you're amazing.
You're wonderful, you're terrific.
I didn't if that is the case andmost actors are that way, but
you have to build a solution foryourself to make yourself feel
amazing all the time and I'm telling you, it's not easy, but

(04:16):
I'm telling you, that's what youneed to do. because the people
that make it, They're like fucking Superman or Batman or
Spider-Man or I am in her Catwoman, they see the fear and
they go right through it to the solution and they get beaten up
along the way. But they don't stay in the beat

(04:38):
up. They they go to the solution,
don't identify with the bullshitin your life because a lot of
people make it that I their identity.
Oh well, this is just my life. This is just how I live when
Then they complain that they did.
They're not the story that they wanted to be.
And so, I'm just saying, not that I'm sitting around saying,

(05:00):
I have no mercy for you, but I have no mercy for you. 3/4 of
me, huh? Sincere Mercy for you as your
coach, and as your empath. Put a quarter of me, who's your
booking coach of the Russian skating mentality?

(05:20):
I have no mercy for you. You know, I made some very bad
choices in my life and the choices were sabotaging and
keeping me away from my purpose. So, I just don't want all of you
guys to fall into that trap, andthe way to do it is just to say
to yourself, it's okay. Okay to say no, it's okay to go

(05:42):
for something and look like I'm selfish.
It's okay. You will get there faster and
then you can carve out some timefor therapy to have a trip to go
swim with the dolphins, putting a me, you know, as an artist I
have to have a personal life do with my career.

(06:07):
Usually, those people have it after they become famous.
He's telling you the truth. You know.
I'm going to tell you the truth, guys.
You know, I'm going to tell you the truth.
It's very important that you guys know this, that I I've seen
this so many times more times and I could just scream every
time. You see this, an actor spends a
lot of money, and a lot of time putting together a package.

(06:30):
It takes them about two years. Shouldn't should only take three
months. But it takes him about two
years. They've spent all the money on
it and now the package is up andrunning.
Running and then they decide I just can't do this anymore.
He is putting the package together.
Took everything out of them. I know so many people like that.

(06:52):
You know, I've had several people that have been, but with
the right management company that went from just like maybe
one, co-star, creditor, no closer.
I kind of did a lot of theater to a recurring guest star three
episodes four episodes because your package was so specific.
They were so specific with in their package.

(07:13):
And so when they got an auditionfor, that specific - of one of
the people that they place, Is so well, nobody else came close
to playing as well as a window opened and Bam.
They just took the job and it can happen for everybody.

(07:37):
Hey guys, thank you so much for listening.
