Our first guest! In the longest episode of ADHP to-date, Doug and Todd welcome Brandon Popson to the show.  Brandon is a fellow stand-up comic on indefinite hiatus who can’t help but keep an eye on politics. We dive into Brandon’s background as something of a right-wing fundamentalist who actually accepted facts and data and developed into a leftist. A very rare feat in this day and age.

In News of the Week, we follow-up on last week’s autism topic to hear about the many ways the Trump administration is cutting autism research, despite claims that they’re going to solve it by September. We also take note of the big win international students tallied against the Trump administration this week, putting Trump in full retreat on SEVIS cancellations. We also, finally, take a look at some local news for the State of Washington, including the impending doom at the Port of Seattle.

Looking at at What’s Geek this Week, Todd tells us about a new Seth Rogen show that you’re sure to love, we preview the final season of Stranger Things coming in November as well as the new Lilo & Stitch live-action from Disney, and we breakdown the Washington Summercon line-up, which is an absolute who’s-who of 90’s geekdom.

Finally, we let the Weird Shit hit the fan as we review marathon-running robots, Japan’s attempt to control the weather with drones, and discuss a video of the world’s most famous clown.

All that and more on this week’s episode of ADHP with Doug and Todd. Turn the volume up and take a ride!
