What if you had to choose just two magical Disney perks to have forever? Would you pick unlimited FastPasses, free hotel stays, or perhaps a night in Cinderella Castle Suite every year? This week, we dive into the ultimate Disney fantasy game, debating which combination of magical benefits would create the perfect Disney life.

  1. Unlimited Fast Passes Forever
  2. Free Hotel Stays Forever
  3. $500 Free Merchandise every time you enter the park
  4. Free Platinum Plus AP forever
  5. Free Disney Wedding
  6. Unlimited and Free park food forever
  7. One night in cinderella castle suite every year forever
  8. Ability to perform in a parade or show of your choosing whenever you want
  9. Be a member of Club 33 forever
  10. Have a professional photographer follow you around for free every time you go in to the park

We carefully examine these ten extraordinary options, weighing practical considerations against once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Does convenience matter more than exclusivity, or does food perks outweigh merchandise allowances? Our insider knowledge—especially about Club 33 membership—reveals how certain choices offer far more value than might be apparent at first glance.

Through thoughtful discussion and playful banter, we'll reach a surprising consensus on their top two picks, revealing much about what we truly value in our Disney experiences, reflecting a perfect balance between luxury access and practical benefits that would transform how we experience the parks forever.

The conversation extends beyond the original game as we propose additional dream perks that would make their Disney fantasy complete. Make sure you're subscribed, because an expanded version of this challenge will ramp up the difficulty level and make this truly difficult.

What would your two picks be? Join the conversation by reaching out on social media @OurMousCapades or emailing podcast@ourmouscapades.com. Your Disney dreams might be different than ours—and we'd love to hear why!

Alicea (00:23):
Hello everyone.
I'm Alicea.

Nathan (00:25):
And I'm Nathan.

Alicea (00:26):
Welcome to this week's episode of Adventures and
Mousecapades.

Nathan (00:30):
This week, Alicea has a game for us to play.

Alicea (00:34):
I do, I do.

Nathan (00:35):
All right.
So why don't you explain this?
Where where did you get theidea?
Let's start off with that.

Alicea (00:40):
Um scrolling through Instagram or Facebook or one of
the things.
I don't know.
Somebody posted a picture.
Um, somebody named Olivia Graceposted a picture of Choose
Three Walt Disney World MagicGolden Tickets.
And I was looking through it.
I'm like, okay, this seems fun.
Maybe we should uh do this asan episode.

Nathan (00:59):
All right.
Well, we're gonna tweak it alittle bit, but let's do this
little intro here that uh Iwrote up.
And by I I mean co-pilotbecause both of you did.
Yeah, it was a collaborativeeffort.
Yes.
All right, folks, it's time forthe ultimate Disney Dilemma.

(01:22):
We have a list of 10 absolutelymagical perks.
Think fast passes forever, freefood, a Cinderella Castle
sleepover, and we're each goingto pick just two.
That's right, only two.
Then we'll battle it out to seewhose choices reign supreme in
the kingdom of dreams.

(01:43):
So grab your Mickey ears andget ready to play along.
Because this is harder thanchoosing your favorite park
snack.

Alicea (01:52):
That was Iron Chef Reminiscent.

Nathan (01:55):
Whose cuisine reigns supreme?

Alicea (01:59):
Yes.

Nathan (02:01):
I miss that show.

Alicea (02:02):
Yeah, that was a that's a

Nathan (02:04):
especially the OG one from Japan.
That was amazing.
No shade to Alton Brown, butanyhow.

Alicea (02:11):
So fast passes, huh?
Or Lightning Lane or Genie orwhatever it becomes in the
future, right?

Nathan (02:17):
We all know what we're talking about when we say fast
passes. We're old school Disneypeople.
We get it.

Alicea (02:24):
All right.
Should I go through the list?

Nathan (02:26):
Please.
What are the 10 things we haveto choose from?

Alicea (02:29):
Ten things to choose from.
First off is unlimited fastpasses forever.
Skip the line, like royalty, forever and always free.

Nathan (02:40):
All right.

Alicea (02:41):
Number two, free hotel stays forever.
Sleep in Disney Magic withoutever touching your wallet.
Number three, $500 freemerchandise every time you enter
the park.
Walk in, shop like a boss, repeat.
Number four, free platinum plusannual pass forever.

(03:03):
Every park, every perk, everyday, no strings attached.

Nathan (03:06):
Nice.

Alicea (03:07):
Number five, free Disney wedding.
Say I do with Cinderella vibesand zero bills.

Nathan (03:13):
That's big.

Alicea (03:14):
Number six, unlimited and free park food forever.
Mickey pretzels and dole whipon demand for life.
Number seven, one night inCinderella Castle Suite every
year forever.
Your annual fairy talesleepover, no fairy godmother
required.
Number eight, ability toperform in a parade or show of

(03:38):
your choosing whenever you want.
Become part of the magic.
Spotlight is always ready.
Number nine, be a member ofClub 33 Forever.
Exclusive eats, elite vibes, and endless bragging rights.
And number 10, have aprofessional photographer follow

(03:59):
you around for free.
Every time you go into thepark, your Disney day is
professionally captured like acelebrity.

Nathan (04:06):
Wow.
Wow.

Alicea (04:08):
So these are these are these are good.

Nathan (04:12):
Yeah.
Now, the original thing waspick three.
I want to change this to picktwo because I think it makes it
harder.

Alicea (04:20):
Yeah.

Nathan (04:22):
Uh that's a that's a heck of a list.
All right.
Let's start off and and justpick apart some of these.
Let's have a little bit of adiscussion before we really dive
in and pick our final two.
So I have a few debatequestions to entertain us and
get our creative juices andminds flowing a little bit.

(04:42):
Would you rather skip everyline or sleep in the castle once
a year?
Is convenience more magicalthan exclusivity?

Alicea (04:52):
Yes.

Nathan (04:53):
Yeah, 100%.
The answer to that is yes.
Convenience is way more magicalthan exclusivity.

Alicea (05:00):
In some things, I guess, yeah.

Nathan (05:02):
I have no desire to spend a night in Cinderella's
castle.

Alicea (05:07):
No, me either.
I mean, is it a bucket listitem?
Sure.

Nathan (05:12):
Right.

Alicea (05:13):
But I don't know that I choose that exclusively for
anything.

Nathan (05:17):
Right.
I I agree.
I agree with that.
Especially because I think theyhave to have somebody like stay
with you, or at least near notwith you in the suite, but like
they that would be really weird.
Um, they have to have somebodystay with slash near you in the

(05:38):
castle just to make sure thatyou don't like go out and wander
around the park in the middleof the night.
And I think they make you getup and out at like 6 a.m.
Yeah.
Because they have a whole themepark to go run.
So how magical really is thatwhen we start getting uh a
little uh into the details?

Alicea (05:59):
All right.
The second question you havehere is Is unlimited food more
valuable than unlimitedmerchandise?
Are you feeding your stomach oryour suitcase?

Nathan (06:09):
Oh man.

Alicea (06:12):
I'm going merchandise for this one.

Nathan (06:18):
There's only so much merch you can have.

Alicea (06:22):
Yeah.

Nathan (06:23):
And I could make a hard argument for both sides of this
one.
I think I'd go with foodthough, because I would get
tired and not have enough roomfor all of the stuff.
I am not the kind of person whowould earn this kind of perk

(06:44):
and then turn around and reselleverything.

Alicea (06:46):
No, I wouldn't resell.

Nathan (06:48):
And so like it just feels like it feels like the
unlimited merch would be wouldbe more limited than the
unlimited food.

Alicea (06:58):
Did you hear my other thing that I said though?

Nathan (07:00):
What was that?

Alicea (07:01):
I'd charity.

Nathan (07:03):
Oh.
Wow, now you're making me feelselfish.

Alicea (07:08):
I know.

Nathan (07:14):
Love you too, question mark.

Alicea (07:16):
Well, so there's always new merchandise.
There's always new merchandisethat comes out.
And five hundred dollars doesnot go as far as you think it
does.

Nathan (07:27):
True.
Very true.

Alicea (07:29):
And no, I I wouldn't be one of those reseller people.
No.

Nathan (07:35):
No.

Alicea (07:35):
Um maybe a couple of things, but no.
That's just not us.
That's just not me either.
So yeah.
I'd rather go with the merch.

Nathan (07:46):
Okay.
I'd rather go with the food.

Alicea (07:48):
That's fine.

Nathan (07:49):
All right.
All right.
Agree to disagree.
All right.
Does Club 33 Access beat aplatinum plus annual pass?
Elite dining versus eliteparkopping, who wins?
So I have too much dirtyknowledge.
Yes, and this is a badquestion.

Alicea (08:08):
I do too.
So um, yes, I do think club 33access beats a platinum plus AP.
Mm-hmm.
I do too.
Just because of the backstageknowledge that we have of Club
33.

Nathan (08:22):
Yes.
Also in the very publicknowledge of, oh, by the way,
with a Club 33 membership, youget platinum plus APs.
So this question, like, Iactually reject the premise.

Alicea (08:35):
Yeah.
So I know what I'm picking forthat.

Nathan (08:39):
Sure.
Exactly.
Did did I just help you?

Alicea (08:43):
No, I knew I knew that one already.

Nathan (08:45):
Oh, I knew that one too.
Yeah.

Alicea (08:50):
Next question.
Would you trade a Disneywedding for lifetime hotel
stays?

Nathan (08:55):
No.

Alicea (08:55):
One unforgettable day versus endless magical nights.

Nathan (08:58):
No.

Alicea (08:59):
No.

Nathan (09:00):
Like, would I love to renew our vows in a big magical
Disney fiasco?

Alicea (09:05):
Oh yeah.
Fiasco.
Oh no.

Nathan (09:08):
Okay.
Maybe that was the wrong word.
In a big magical Disneyfantastical experience?
Yes.
Saved it.
Or did I?
Anyhow, yeah, I would love todo that.
Would I rather have lifetimehotel stays?
Sure.
Because that means I could justretire at Disney World and not

(09:31):
have to pay for lodging.
Oh no.
Sounds good to me.
Yeah.
Is performing in a paradecooler than being professionally
photographed every visit?
Spotlight versus snapshots.
What's your kind of fame?

Alicea (09:47):
My kind of fame is definitely snapshots.

Nathan (09:52):
I see both sides of this.

Alicea (09:56):
I am not a performer.
Dance monkey dance.

Nathan (10:02):
I wouldn't want to be in a parade.
I would want to be able to honemy voice and be able to be part
of the Dapper Dans.
I would want to be able to sitdown and play drums with some
small group somewhere doingwhatever.
But I think I could do that onthe side.

(10:33):
And I would love to have aphotographer coming around
taking candids and doing posesand doing whatever.
Like that has a lot of appealto me.

Alicea (10:44):
Would you rather have $500 to spend every visit or be
a club 33 member forever?
Instant gratification versuslong-term prestige.
Um this is a no-brainer.

Nathan (10:54):
This is a no-brainer.

Alicea (10:56):
Again, for the dirty knowledge that we have.

Nathan (11:00):
Yeah.
We do have a Club 33 episode inour back catalog, folks, if you
want to go listen to that, where uh we kind of lay out what
it means to be a member of Club33.
Uh we also have some somefriends and and uh former
coworkers who uh were slash aremembers, depending on who we're
thinking of.
And um, yeah, we just know alot of behind the scenes things.

(11:24):
Uh Club 33 membership A is justworth a heck of a lot more
money.

Alicea (11:30):
So it it costs a heck of a lot more money, too.

Nathan (11:33):
That's what I mean.
Like yeah.

Alicea (11:35):
Yeah.
All right.

Nathan (11:37):
Does the Cinderella Castle suite beat all other
perks?
Is one night of pure magicworth more than every day
benefits?
No.
I know it is not.

Alicea (11:51):
Simple Would you give up Fast Passes Forever for
unlimited park food?
Speed versus snacks.
What is your Disney priority?
This is difficult for me.
I don't know.

Nathan (12:03):
I mean it's

Alicea (12:07):
I think I'd go with the food. And I'll tell you why.

Nathan (12:12):
All right, hit me.

Alicea (12:13):
Because Epcot has some really good festivals.
Oh.
And we are we like the rides, but we are more vibe people.

Nathan (12:23):
True.

Alicea (12:24):
So I would go with the foods for this one.
But having to give upFastPasses forever is difficult.

Nathan (12:31):
It's very difficult.
I'm not sure on this one.
Dude.
I hate standby lines.

Alicea (12:42):
I know.

Nathan (12:44):
I can still pay for food.
I'm glad I don't have to chooseabout this in real life.
Um I feel like I'd get more useout of the fast passes.
Like I could go on multiplerides for every single, like,
one meal that I have.
I spend maybe an hour at ameal.

Alicea (13:08):
Do you want me to dive a little deeper here?
Yeah.
I feel like with the money thatyou save on food, we could
easily get VIP tours.

Nathan (13:19):
We're going unlimited food.

Alicea (13:26):
Because food is expensive.
I mean, not every time we go,right?
But Yeah.

Nathan (13:32):
No, okay.
I'm I'm sold.
100% sold.
Is the ability to perform in ashow more magical than a free
Disney wedding?

Alicea (13:44):
Living the dream versus celebrating the dream.
Is this a one-time thing?

Nathan (13:52):
Yeah.
Like if it was a one-timeperformance versus a one-time
wedding, I'd do wedding.
Yeah.
If it was the ability to be aperformer like whenever, or you
know, like we've been talkingabout being in a band or in a
group or something like that,uh, where you're on repeatedly

(14:12):
versus a one-time thing, I thinkthe creative artists, probably
in both of us, would rather dothat.
I mean, we get a lot ofinternal joy, satisfaction,
accomplishment from performingand being on stage.
You know, whether we're in thelimelight or we're in the back

(14:33):
row uh of a band, there's a lotto that.
There's a reason why we'restill involved in music to this
day.

Alicea (14:42):
Yeah.

Nathan (14:43):
I don't know that one magical event overrules or
outweighs that.

Alicea (14:49):
Yeah.

Nathan (14:51):
Um I'm gonna go with performing.

Alicea (14:53):
I would too.
Okay.
If it's a more than one-timeperforming thing.

Nathan (14:57):
Yeah.

Alicea (14:58):
Yeah.

Nathan (14:59):
Yeah.
If it's just one shot, I'vealready had my one shot.
I I've been there, I've donethat.
I've I've been in the parade.
I would which is what magicmusic days way, way, way back in
the day.
I would rather have had uh thewedding.
Yeah.
So, okay, cool.

Alicea (15:17):
Which perk would make you feel most like Disney
royalty?
Let's settle the crown once andfor all.

Nathan (15:26):
Okay, so of these, which is my favorite?
Oh no, which would make me feelmost like royalty?
Well, ironically, I'm gonnathrow the one night in
Cinderella Castle out.
Ever even though it's everyyear.
Like, I don't feel like royaltyif I'm only able to sleep in a
castle once a year.
Um man, the Disney wedding fromuh feeling like like royalty

(15:52):
perspective, that's up there.
Merch is not royalty.
No platinum AP Nice, notnecessarily royalty.
Free hotel stays forever.
Unlimited fast pass, no fooddoesn't make me feel royal.
Ability to be in a parade or ashow if you're choosing whenever

(16:17):
you want.

Alicea (16:18):
Possibly.

Nathan (16:19):
Possibly.
I could go be a prince.
Hmm.
Professional photographer?
Okay, that may make me feellike royalty.

Alicea (16:29):
I think for me, the one that would make me feel most
like Disney Royalty, honestly,we're gonna knock this into the
ground here.
Being a member of Club 33forever.
Because you will get to knowthe people there.

Nathan (16:42):
Yep.

Alicea (16:42):
You'll get to know, I mean, let's face it, there's
celebrities that go there allthe time.
And if you are a regular thereand some of them are regulars
there, you know, you'll just getto know people.

Nathan (16:54):
Right, right.
For content, it's good.
Can you imagine our show?
Holy cow.
Um Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
Club 33, being a member of Club33 would make me feel like
Disney Royalty.
Yep, yeah.
For sure.
For sure.
All right, Alicea.
I think we've spent enough timeavoiding the question.

(17:18):
Which two of these perks areyou choosing?

Alicea (17:23):
So I have a question for you.
Okay.
Is this just me all by myself?
Or is this us as a couple?
So I choose two and you choosetwo.
Because some of these I wouldnot choose if you're gonna be
with me all the time, because wecan play off of each other.
Does that make sense?

Nathan (17:44):
I think you just said you want to go to Disney World
without me, is what Ijust heard.

Alicea (17:49):
Well, I've done that before, but okay, you have too.

Nathan (17:52):
So Um Here's how I'm thinking of it.
I think of it as in youropinion, which two things would
we have?

Alicea (18:04):
Okay, so both of us together.

Nathan (18:06):
Both of us together.

Alicea (18:07):
So I get one and you get one.

Nathan (18:09):
No, you choose your two.
Okay.
And then I will choose two andwe'll compare and contrast our
choices.

Alicea (18:17):
Okay.

Nathan (18:18):
So in your opinion, which two things should we
choose?

Alicea (18:21):
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
And then in my opinion, yeah.
Understood.
Okay.
Am I going first?

Nathan (18:26):
Yes.

Alicea (18:27):
Okay.
Well, obviously, number nine,be a member of Club 33 forever.
That is a total no-brainer.

Speaker (18:35):
Yes.

Alicea (18:36):
Um, the other one, I think I think I do free hotel
stays forever.

Nathan (18:42):
Okay.

Alicea (18:43):
Oh, actually, let me let me check on this.
Does that include DVC hotels?

Nathan (18:50):
I mean, these are golden tickets.

Alicea (18:52):
Yeah.

Nathan (18:53):
Sure.

Alicea (18:53):
Okay.
Well, even if it's not DVC, Imean, free hotel stays forever.
I'm doing the nice room in thehotel if we don't do DVC.

Nathan (19:01):
I mean, we could say we're doing cash rates at a DVC
resort.
That's okay.

Alicea (19:06):
Yeah.
Okay.
So yeah.
Number nine, be a member ofClub 33 forever.
And number two, free hotelstays forever.

Nathan (19:12):
All right.
So we're not having aphotographer.
We're not in shows.
We're not staying in thecastle.
We're paying for our own food.

Alicea (19:22):
I'm fine with that.

Nathan (19:24):
We didn't have a Disney wedding, which we didn't have a
Disney wedding.
Um, number four is obsolete, which was uh a platinum plus
annual pass because you getthose for your family as part of
a membership.
Unlimited FastPasses Forever.
I think we could uh spend somemoney when we need it, but also

(19:45):
no, I think 33 members get yeah, never mind.
You'd have that.
So that's grandfathered in.
Uh you also get a bunch likefour VIP tours a year?

Alicea (19:56):
Something like that, yeah.

Nathan (19:57):
Um yeah.
Okay.
Club 33, absolutely.
You're going with hotel stays.

Alicea (20:04):
I am.
Because the money you save fromthat, I mean seriously.
Yeah.

Nathan (20:13):
Okay.

Alicea (20:14):
We pre we have prepaid our hotel stays for the most
part with our DVC membership.

Nathan (20:20):
True.
I mean, we still pay a fairamount a year in annual maybe.
Um I think you're right.
I'm going back and forthbetween free hotel stays and
unlimited park food.
But when I think food at DisneyWorld and where I really want

(20:42):
to eat, most of those places arenot in a park.
So I would rather have thehotel and save that money to
apply to go eat at all of theplaces that we really want to
eat.
Like Steakhouse 71 orVictoria and Alberts, or a bunch

(21:03):
of places at Disney Springs.
Like none of those are parkfood.

Alicea (21:06):
Yeah, and it does say park, it doesn't say resort.

Nathan (21:09):
Right.
So, Alicea, this is why we havebeen together for 32 years,
married for 25.
We are in perfect alignment.

Alicea (21:18):
Yes.

Nathan (21:19):
We are Club 33 members for life.
We have free Disney World hotelstays forever.
Our life is grand.

Alicea (21:26):
Yes, it is.

Nathan (21:31):
It's perfect.
It's the perfect life.
All right.

Alicea (21:34):
That would be amazing.

Nathan (21:35):
That would be fantastic.

Alicea (21:36):
Hey Disney.
Yeah.

Nathan (21:38):
Yeah.
We're not sponsored now.
No.
Um, if you want to put somebodyto the test to see if this is
something that's viable, give usa call.
We'll see what we can do.

Alicea (21:49):
You know what I think we should do?
I think we should come up withour own golden tickets.

Nathan (21:54):
Ooh.
Okay.

Alicea (21:55):
If you could add something on here, what would
you add?
I have mine already.

Nathan (22:00):
Oh.
Okay.
I need some time to think.
That's right.
Um, you go ahead and and stallfor time.

Alicea (22:07):
My my golden ticket is you have a house and the
amenities that come with it atGolden Oaks.

Nathan (22:17):
Oh I would take that over free hotel stays forever.

Speaker (22:23):
Well, yeah.

Nathan (22:27):
I'm thinking something to the effect of six cruises a
year in concierge on whateveritinerary you want.
So this is this is getting outof the Walt Disney World vein if
we do that.
And I'm okay with that.
Yes, yes.
Okay.
So okay.
My option would be up to sixcruises a year on Disney cruise

(22:50):
line in concierge, anyitinerary.

Alicea (22:53):
Two adventures by Disney trips or just one adventures by
Disney trip a year.
I think we need to come up withour own and do another one of
these.
Okay.
And come up with pie in the skythings like this.
I think that would be fun.

Nathan (23:12):
Okay.

Alicea (23:13):
For all-up, all-up um Disney stuffs.

Nathan (23:16):
We could have a better list.

Alicea (23:18):
We could have a better list.
We could have a different list.

Nathan (23:20):
Not necessarily Well, true.
Well, we could make this muchharder.

Alicea (23:24):
Yes.
Yeah, yeah.
I think with just with ourknowledge of all the Disney
stuff.
Because looking at this list,it's obvious.
It's obvious that somebodydidn't know entirely.
I know.
I'm I'm don't I don't mean itlike that, but I do mean it like
that.

Nathan (23:39):
Olivia, she didn't mean that.
She meant that in the bestpossible way.

Alicea (23:43):
Yes.
Anyway.
What do you think?
Should we do another one?

Nathan (23:47):
Absolutely.

Alicea (23:47):
Okay.

Nathan (23:48):
Absolutely.
We will be back with this.
Yeah.
I think we will take some ofthese.
I think some of these arefantastic.
But we need to make some peoplemake some hard decisions.
Yes.
Do you want to be a club 33member in Disney World or do you
want to be a Club 33 member inDisneyland?
Mm.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
