Adventures from the Van
Jenny is a full-time solo female vanlifer, traveling around the US with her canine sidekick, Dakota. For the last three years, they’ve been collecting an equal number of miles and stories as they’ve traveled in their self-built Sprinter van. In this podcast, Jenny recounts the highs, lows, and wild antics that can only come from living a life of adventure while also attempting to find love.

Jenny gets a visit from her best friend while the van is broken down. They take a trip to Moab and almost run out of gas. A sick Dakota joins them for a hot spring adventure.
Forrest the Van gets picked up by a tow truck and Jenny and Dakota get delivered to Salt Lake City by tow. They get some bad news about Forrest and have to decide whether it's time to call it quits on vanlife.
Jenny and Dakota head to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Jenny, Dakota, and Forrest the Van all have some bad luck.
Jenny and Dakota struggle through the spring heat of southern Texas while Jenny navigates the difficult start to an unusual relationship.

Jenny and Dakota head back to Arizona where Jenny spent time where her grandparents used to live. Jenny flew back to Michigan for her sister's baby shower then it was back to Arizona as she started the trek back to the river guide. We also find out whether Cinderella's missing sandal turns up in Texas.
Jenny and Dakota go on a tour of National Parks. They visit Guadeloupe Mountains and White Sands in Texas and New Mexico. Jenny gets a discount oil change that keeps her in town (and bored), which spurs a peek at Tinder once again. They visit Saguaro National Park in Arizona, then take a detour for a shot at love.

Jenny and Dakota learn far more than they ever wanted to about fleas while heading from Fort Meyers to Jacksonville, Florida. After a quick visit to Shenandoah National Park during the wild time of the government shutdown of 2018, I head to Virginia Beach to introduce Dakota to the ocean. We hit 100 days on the road and celebrate the milestone with far too many drinks and some great new friends. Then I'm off to celebrate/survive New Year's Eve alone.

After finding a temporary fix for my windshield, I was ready to leave West Virginia. A snowy night and spotty cell signals in the mountains of West Virginia would derail that plan. Dakota and I had our first Christmas alone and packed it full of misadventures.

After limping home, we learn a lot about how hard it is to get a Dodge Sprinter van serviced. Soon enough, we're back on the road and headed to the lovely state of Ohio. We visit Cuyahoga Valley National Park and then get hit with a stretch of relentless rain that makes me question my abilities to "vanlife" successfully.

Now that Jenny and Dakota are reunited, they finish up their journey back to Michigan. Along the way, they have some unexpected adventures at Mammoth Cave National Park with their vanlife friends.
