This week on Adventures of Des and Cort, we accidentally turned into emergency personnel at a stoplight because a man was fully asleep behind the wheel. Cort launched herself out of the car like a superhero with zero planning, while Des frantically tried to find the hazard lights, forgot to put the car in park and basically created a whole second emergency. Honestly, we possibly saved a life and also nearly ruined our own. 😳🚨
As if that wasn’t enough, our daughters have decided to hang out and might become besties. The universe wasn’t ready for the two of us and definitely isn’t ready for the sequel 👯♀️🔥
We dig into the Diddy documentary and the beautiful comedy of 50 Cent producing it. That man is the petty king and we salute him.
Des also retells her deeply uncomfortable dinner moment where an old man initiated a fist bump and she responded with a handshake slash fist bump slash weird slide maneuver that should probably be illegal. We discuss the emotional responsibility of proper hand pressure and why awkward greetings haunt us forever 🤝😬
Cort is freezing to the bone and wants to know if anyone else is living in a personal tundra. Des is pretending to care while suggesting vitamin deficiencies.
We also debate game families vs non game families, celebrate Cort’s new golf simulator and consider renaming Des’s dog to Rick because at this point it fits the vibe.
Utter chaos, questionable decisions and lots of laughing. Basically a normal week.
