About the Film
Life with Ghosts (2023) is a documentary about a research study at the University of North Texas that uses induced after-death communication (IADC) to help a grieving widow connect with her deceased husband. It explores the potential of facilitated "after-death communication" to alleviate prolonged grief, particularly in cases where conventional therapy has been ineffective. The film documents the first publicly funded attempt to see if such contact can reduce grief symptoms, challenging traditional views on the relationship between the living and the dead.
