Today’s National Haunted House Day, and what better way to celebrate than to take a look at three of the best movies in the haunted house genre? Ambi shares some of the all-time best onscreen ghost stories, plus a couple of bonus real-life encounters submitted for your approval.

"The Vigil" is a horror gem that gives us a different take on the classic demonic antagonist formula. It's a haunting chiller that employs unsettling-yet-familiar sets and dramatic tension to explore the depths of grief and guilt. Ambi and special guest Peri were definitely crept out by this one.

“The Acolyte” season finale has arrived, and karabast, has it delivered! We get one of the best live-action lightsaber duels we’ve ever seen, a truly chilling character reveal, and strong ties to the prequel and sequel trilogies thanks to the visionary leadership of Star Wars lover Leslye Headland. More of Ambi’s theories prove to be true. But is a strong finale enough to warrant a second season? 

Following the shocking events of last week's episode, we finally start to get some interesting story! This series has been full of ups and downs, but has it finally settled on the right track? As is often the case, the true story is much more interesting than the movie.

A long time ago in a family home far, far away, five people really loved Bail Organa. The thing they don’t see eye-to-eye on is horror movies.

In this episode, we’re taking on a classic: 1980’s “The Changeling.” Ambi and special guest Peri take a look at the (allegedly) true story that inspired this timeless ghostly tale. How did you die, Joseph? Why do you remain? And where the heck is that medal? Grab a jacket and bring your mom: it’s gonna be a based-on-"real"-events ride.

Obi-Wan Who? Grab your seismic charges, my young apprentice: it’s time for Ambi and special guest Peri to take a spin into Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. If you’re craving rotisserie chicken or a gas station hot dog, this is the movie for you! Episode II has something for everybody: Sir Christopher Lee, a handsome bounty hunter, ten thousand Jedi, and the introduction of the #1 most important character in Star Wars. 

Take a walk down memory lane all the way back to 1999 and the release of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. In this episode, Ambi and special guest, renowned Bail Organa expert Peri, reminisce about the movie and check out some never-opened Phantom Menace toys Ambi collected from Taco Bell 25 years ago!
