En 2024, entre la Chine et l’Afrique c’est 295 milliards d’échange commercial. Un chiffre intéréssant mais bien maigre lorsqu’il est comparé aux 1 trillion de dollars avec l’Europe, 518 milliards avec l’Amérique Latine, ou encore 982 milliards avec les pays de l’ASEAN.
La réalité est telle que le commerce entre la Chine et l’Afrique ne représente que 4.2 du commerce de la Chine avec le monde. Un chiffre qui choquerait plus d’un pour qui l’importance de l’Afrique pour la Chine serait économique et commerciale. Pour vous encore vous en convaincre du contraire, le commerce entre la Chine continentale et Hong-Kong s’est élévée à 309 milliards $.
