Jess, I am so excited to haveyou on Welcome.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Oh, thank you so much , so excited to be here, thank
you.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
I am so, so pumped.
So I'm an entrepreneur myself,so I am so excited to hear about
all of this.
But how did you get started inthis business and give us a
little bit of your background?
Yeah, sure.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
So for over 10 years I've been a real estate broker
and started working with otherreal estate agents and training
them.
I've been a certified businessand life coach actually have
like 15 certifications in it, soI'm technically a master coach,

(02:20):
but really I have such apassion for helping and being in
the business aspect of thingsthat I really felt like being
just aimed at real estate agentsand stuff was just really not
my passion, because I reallyfound passion and excitement
within marketing and coursecreation and helping others to

(02:43):
reach their goals.
So that's really why I startedto transition from just real
estate agents to pretty muchanybody that has an online
business and really wanted todive in a little bit deeper than
just like your typical averagecoach who kind of like helps you
self-discover, like what'swrong, what can you do to fix it

(03:04):
that sort of stuff where Ireally work with my clients and
help them strategize what'sgoing to work and give them the
tools and the items and helpthem do it and hold them
accountable, which is mostimportant because as an
entrepreneur, we're verycreative and we have shady
objects syndrome and we all needsomebody to hold us accountable

(03:25):
.
So we really need that personto help us give us the answer
Sometimes.
Just don't leave me out thereas a lonely fish in the ocean.
So that's really what happened.
And I also, like, while I wasin the real estate world and
everything, I was makingmultiple six figures and I was
absolutely like miserable.
I was so stressed, I was sooverwhelmed, I was overworked,

(03:48):
underpaid and I wasn't happy.
I just I wasn't happy andhonestly like it, just it really
affected, like my mental state,my everything.
So that's why, like, I knew Ineeded to change and I needed to
focus in on my passion and makethat the main focus.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Yeah, I love that because I feel like so many
times we just feel so stuck inour little box, and there could
be so many things like whatlights up your heart, what makes
you happy, what excites youwhether it's about what you're
doing or something different and, my goodness, we are in the

(04:28):
time of being able to have apassion and make income from
that passion.
Yes, so I just I love thatbecause that just shows you that
, even when you feel stuck andoverwhelmed, in a position where
you could be making decentmoney and and then you're put in

(04:48):
a position where, but I'm nothappy, and that that in itself,
it's just not always about money.
It's not.
It's not just about money, andI have a very great relationship
with my ex-husband.
However, the reason that Iasked for the divorce was
because I wasn't happy, and howwould I be able to be a good

(05:10):
role model to my kids, to alwayssearch for health and happiness
, if I wasn't there?
And so that could go withanything with your job, with
your relationships, withwhatever circumstances you're in
.
If you don't find yourself thatyou feel like this is a hell,

(05:31):
yeah, then we should take a lookand maybe figure out what does
make you happy.
I love helping people as well.
It drives me.
I feel such a passion for it.
I love mentoring people andthat lights up inside me,

(05:53):
whereas I'm really good atnegotiating and I'm really good
at all this other stuff.
It could definitely bringincome in.
However, it doesn't light mysoul on fire.
Income in, however, it doesn'tlight my soul on fire, and I
think that's whereentrepreneurship tips the scales
, in a way that if you canfigure out and stay accountable

(06:13):
because, as entrepreneur, I feellike you think, oh well, I have
all the time in the world andthat accountability is so
important, so so important and Ithink people get scared to
transition, believe something, especially if they're making
decent money.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
That's their life they're living, and I think
that's really, really scary fora lot of people, and the reality
is the world that we live intoday and stuff.
One of the things that we do ishelp people create courses
today and stuff.
One of the things that we do ishelp people create courses, and
what's so fascinating, though,is that in today, like you can
create a course about anything.
You can create a course abouthow to train your dog, about

(06:53):
knitting, and it's incrediblethat, whatever that niche is,
there's a million other peoplethat are passionate about what
you're passionate, yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
I love it.
Yeah, because you literallyhave to just be a few steps
ahead of wherever the otherperson is.
And yeah, I have some ideasbrewing in my head, but those
are still ideas and at somepoint after I can settle in the
podcast and all the things I'llbe like okay, I'm ready to
record some courses, because Ithink I have a lot of stuff in

(07:22):
me too.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
You should, but just remember that tomorrow is always
like moving to be the nexttomorrow.
Yeah, I know, there's never aperfect time.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
I delayed this podcast for four years, so I
know all too well.
I also feel like my intuitionis very good at telling me all,
right now it's time, let's go,and so, as long as I can stay
very connected to that, I feelit won't be like a forever thing
.
But yeah, I'm recording nonstopthe last few weeks, so I don't

(07:56):
know if I have it in me torecord a whole course or
anything like that right now.
However, that is coming, so beprepared, write that down.
So just to get some context, can you share your journey into
how do you work with businessesto strategize and so forth?

Speaker 3 (08:15):
I do a couple of different things.
I have courses and membershipsand stuff.
So a lot of that stuff is do ityourself, you're more
independent or self-driven, oryou think you are right, and
then the other part is theone-on-one, which is all
personalized.
So typically we would have aconversation, we would go

(08:36):
through the business ofeverything that they have, like,
okay, what do you have rightnow, what's working, what's not,
and what are your goals?
Like, where do you want to be?
And then we can strategizewhich areas need to change,
adjust, add.
So that's where the strategycomes in.
Is like we're digging deeptogether and trying to make that

(08:57):
plan and it's actionable, likecreating those real items to be
held accountable to both of us.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Yeah, absolutely Okay .
I love that.
And then, what inspired you tofocus more on helping course
creators and coaches?

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Very good question.
So I think that really thething is.
I, as an entrepreneur, you'retypically multi passionate, but
everybody will tell you I'll bethe first one that says, like
everybody needs a coach.
No matter what kind of businessyou're in, you need some sort
of coach, mentor, somebody tohold you accountable, help you,
guide you, because you can't seeyour business from the outside

(09:35):
Right.
So that's one of the thingsthat everybody's always told me
like you really have to nichedown and that is so hard when
you're multi-passionate.
But if I market to all onlineentrepreneurs, nobody picks up
because it doesn't speak to that.
Like you don't consideryourself an online entrepreneur.
Like that wouldn't be what youwould say, right, like I
wouldn't say that either, but wewould both fall in that

(09:57):
category.
So just trying to narrow itdown a little bit to the most
people that I work with but Ialso work with, like, affiliate
marketers, people who havedigital product that they want
to sell, digital products, planners, social media templates
, all kinds of different stuffbut coaches and creators or
course creators are typicallythe ones that are more active

(10:22):
online and see all the stuff andwant all the stuff, but not
necessarily implement it all.
But that's why everybody needssomebody.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
Yeah, I agree, I have a mindset coach that I work
with and the reason that Iactioned anything to start this
podcast was because hechallenged me to it and he was
like All right, what issomething that you've been
procrastinating on that youreally want to do?
And I'm like the podcast.

(10:50):
It was a live conference thathe did and he was like, before
you leave, you need to do amajor action towards this goal,
and so I signed up for aplatform that I upload my
podcast to and then it sends itout to every podcast platform

(11:11):
there is, and so I did that.
That was my big action step.
And then he was like and weneed a deadline and I'm like oh,
okay, yeah, and that's.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
I'm so glad you said that, though, because that's
really where everybody falls off, because we can all sit here,
write down our to-do list, ourgoals and everything, but unless
somebody is there and saying, okay, so how are you going to
get there?
What are you going to do?
You have to break that downinto those steps, okay, and when
is that going to be done by?
And if you have that somebodyto answer to and to help you get
there, it's completely lifechanging.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Yeah, absolutely.
So we left that mindsetconference May I want to say May
11, or something around thereMay 12.
And I said, okay, by June 1,I'm going to have my podcast, my
first episode, loaded.
And I didn't know.
I didn't know what I needed.
I know that year on, like atthe beginning of the year, it

(12:07):
was January and I bought mymicrophone and the headphones,
yeah, so I knew that it wasthere.
I just didn't know exactly whenit was going to happen.
And so I had the equipment Ihave my laptop, my headphones,
my microphone Great, I have aring light, great, all the
things.
Check, check, check.

(12:27):
And then it just stayed.
I didn't do anything with it.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
And when he Because none of that stuff was actually
the important part of it.
No, it was actually.
But that's what we all do.
We go out, we get all the stuff, prepare, buy all the things.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
Yeah, it's the fluff.
And so when he said that, I waslike, okay, podcasts have
intros, so let me figure out howto make an intro.
And I started to google.
I didn't know anything.
I just started to google how doI make a podcast intro and what
do I need and the music andwhat do I say?

(13:03):
And so I recorded it and I haveit saved.
And then I'm like, oh, it needsthe outro.
Okay, I'll use that and I'll,whatever I did the outro.
So I had the intro and theoutro.
And then I was like I needartwork.
It's asking for artwork.
So I went on Canva and I waslike, all right, this all was
like in like two weeks I hadeverything.

(13:26):
And then I recorded my firstepisode, I found a platform to
edit it on and I loaded it upbefore June 1st and I was like,
boom, I did it and it felt sogood and now I'm on season two
and I'm like what is happeningright now?

Speaker 3 (13:47):
But that and your mind coach, like he helped you
get outside your own head, likewhatever it was that was holding
you back lack of confidence, just didn't know where to start,
whatever that was.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
So it is seriously the coolest thing, I think.
I agree, I think everyone needsa coach.
I do health and wellness.
You need a coach.
I needed a coach for that.
So I definitely agree Business,if you are anywhere near
entrepreneur or creator orwhatever, you need a coach
because you need that guidance.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
It's so important and you can't coach yourself either
as a business coach.
I can't business coach myselfbecause I'll be the first one to
be like, oh tomorrow, or oh, Ireally need to buy this software
, I really need you know this.
And no, like no, you can't seethe big picture outside of your
head.
You get caught up in it.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Yeah, definitely agree.
So branding is crucial for anyonline business.
What are some key elements of astrong brand, and how can a
course creator and coach developa brand that truly resonates
with their audience.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
So I think really like people get really caught up
when it comes to branding andthink like colors and font and
that sort of stuff.
But it's really so much morethan that.
It's you, your personality, theway that you, your voice of
yourself and your business right.
So that's really where youshould start and then go with
the colors and all of that otherstuff.

(15:10):
But your brand is really likeyour mission statement who you
help, your I help statement, that sort of stuff that all ties
into the big picture.
And I think that's reallyimportant, especially for any
type of coach or course creator, because other people are coming
to them for a long-termsituation.
It's not one and done.
Even with a course, like it's awhole thing, it's a whole

(15:30):
package that they're learningfrom you.
So it really has to be likepersonal and they have to reach
inside themselves to put thatbranding for and then package it
all up into something prettyand beautiful and also make sure
that it's speaking to the rightpeople.
Like, if you are superreligious and you don't want
somebody else from otherreligions and stuff, then speak

(15:51):
about what you're passionateabout.
If you cuss a lot, make thatknown.
Don't draw in the people thatare going to be offended by that
.
So that's really important tomake sure that you're yourself,
because the last thing you wantto do is attract people that
you're not going to vibe with.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Right yourself, because the last thing you want
to do is attract people thatyou're not going to vibe with.
Right yeah, and it sucksbecause when you are not
authentic and I've been doingthis for many years so there's a
time that like, oh well, youhave to be positive.
But I was dealing with a crapton of stuff in my own life that
I felt like, well, I can't bepositive right now.
I felt like, well, I can't bepositive right now, I can be

(16:24):
hopeful, yes, but thishappy-go-lucky person, then it
just people see right throughthe BS.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
And when you're not authentic, they don't relate to
that.
They don't relate to that.
That's not reality.
Nobody can be like oh, like, she's really got it together,
yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
Like, oh, just like me.
No, you feel like, oh, I can'tdo that.
And then it makes it actuallyway unrelatable, like you can't
connect with that person.
When I was two years ago, myoldest daughter left the house
after she graduated high schooland two days later left the
house and I felt like my worldwas like crumbling and I was

(17:04):
like, oh my God, how am Ishowing up for anybody if this
is what I'm facing?
Or when my dad was goingthrough his cancer and
treatments and hospice and whenhe passed away.
I've gone through all of that, but I've done it publicly, in a
way that's been authentic to whoI am, and I'll show up for my

(17:26):
own health journey becausethat's what's getting me through
this mentally.
It isn't like, oh, I work outjust to feel good.
No, I'm literally strugglingwith life and I show up because
that is the only way that it'sallowing me to put one foot in
front of the other.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
Yeah, and I think, no matter what industry you're in
and stuff, health and wellness, especially mindset and like
being stress-free or working onthat stuff is so important these
days that everybody needs toreally be thinking about it and
working at it all the time.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
Yeah, absolutely.
I don't think that I would behere alive if I wouldn't have
started my journey almost nineyears ago.
I was sick with cancer.
I was depressed, I was dealingwith being a single mom of three
kids.
My oldest had just beendiagnosed bipolar.
It was just all of the things.
When I started my healthjourney, it was like right

(18:24):
before my last and fourth cancerdiagnosis, and so I was just
like, well, I could either dosomething about my life and
continue to be here or just letthis take over.
And so I did something about mylife.
So I know that this journey hassaved my life in so many ways,

(18:48):
but if I didn't share thatauthentically, then I feel like
I would.
I just I would be false andthat's just doesn't.
I wouldn't be here nine yearslater.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
Yeah, A hundred percent.
And never everything happensfor a reason.
Everything that you wentthrough led you to where you are
and why you're the person youare yeah, absolutely, absolutely
.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
So creating an irresistible offer.
This is always the big thing, because we do want to create
that irresistible offer.
So this is, I'm like all earsOkay.
So creating irresistible offersis essential for attracting and
converting customers.
Like what are the components ofan irresistible offer and how

(19:29):
can business owners craft offersthat stand out in a crowded
market?

Speaker 3 (19:35):
so I think, first of all is coming up with a really
cool catchy name that bringspeople in but explains what it
sweet, and then explaining alittle bit further what your
product or offering is about ina detailed way that they can
relate to it.
Just like what we were talkingabout, about being real and

(19:56):
talking about those pain pointsof what your ideal client avatar
is right, Like, what are theystruggling with, what do they
need help with?
And then how are you going tosolve it with this?
Like you have to sell them onthat.
So a lot of times people willwork backwards, list out those
pains.
How can they solve that right?
And then a really big part ofcreating those irresistible

(20:19):
offers is having bonuses andextra parts into there.
This is what you're gettingfrom this, but then also there's
more and there's more, and it'slike those infomercials right
when you're like but we're notgiving you just one set today,
we're not giving you just two,but wait, there's more Exactly
exactly Because people are likeyou're creating so much value

(20:41):
that people feel stupid for notgoing for it.
Right, like no matter whateverthe price is, like, you want
them to feel like wow, I will besome big idiot if I turn away
this offer because it's soincredible.
And then the next part of thatto really sign, seal and deliver
it is to offer some sort ofguarantee.
Yeah, it doesn't have to belike money back, especially if

(21:04):
you're in the digital world, because once they have access,
they've already got it all right.
But if you can put in there andthis is a conversation that
I've had with one of my clientsrecently, because they didn't
want to say like 50% cash backor 100%, like if it doesn't work
for you.
But I said but if you put inthere with proof that you
followed the program right, because if you follow the

(21:27):
program, the offering, whatever, that is the correct way then
you should be able to get thoseresults If you're good at
whatever you're offering, right.
So some sort of guarantee andyou can protect yourself with
some sort of guarantee thatbecause there are going to be
people who will take you up onit and want a refund or
something.
So make sure that it's notgoing to keep you broke.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
Believe me, I've signed up for many, many things
and I've had many, many coaches.
So, yeah, that definitely works, because most of the time in
that time period you're notgoing to complete all the things
and you're like, well, thisdidn't work.
Did you do the work?

Speaker 3 (22:08):
And speaking of time too that's another really great
aspect of those irresistibleoffers is like a timeframe to
get those results, becausepeople, especially in today's
world, want instant results.
So like, if it's you're goingto lose weight, you're gonna
lose 10 pounds.
When, like, am I going to lose10 pounds in 30 days days, am I
gonna lose it in 12 months?
So the faster and putting thatin there helps to when it comes

(22:28):
to time.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
Yeah, absolutely.
My mindset coach has that aswell in his offer.
And you look at these peopleand I've become his hype squad,
if you will, because he'schanged my life.
So every time that he does hislaunches, I'm part of the hype
squad.
So it's been so awesome to seethe back end of how everything

(22:52):
works and I'm like, oh, my god, that's genius.
And oh my god, it is so cool tosee when everything is broken
down behind the scenes andyou're like, oh, that's why he's
doing it.
I get it now.
All of those extra masterclasses that you're like, oh,
but if you sign up by this date, you get this and this and this

(23:17):
and it is mind-blowing andawesome, and then it's all great
content anyways.
So, yeah, like you said, youwould be so stupid not to jump
in and I've felt that I'm likeso I, it's funny.
The first time I saw like I wasthe behind the scenes person, I
was like, oh, totally sneaky.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
And people, people will do.
A lot of times too, they'll belike limited time offer.
You're like this is expiring, their price is going to go up,
and they'll do countdowns andstuff like that, because it's a
psychological, like it messeswith you, like everybody has
FOMO, you don't want to miss out, like I am the biggest FOMO
person.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
Take my money, yeah, and he does that, so he'll do
the launch date.
And if you sign and he doesthat, so he'll do the launch
date.
And if you sign up on that date, he'll do six weeks of high
performance coaching or whatever.
And then if you sign up by thesecond day, it'll be that that
tape that goes off the table.
But he'll do seven way or 10ways to create a thousand

(24:23):
dollars or whatever.
Anything like that.
Right, and that kind of helpswith the.
The objection of money yeah, right, because if they're, he's
going to tell you how to createa thousand dollars quickly, and
so make your money back Right, exactly so.
If you signed up on the firstday, then you get the first day

(24:46):
bonus and the second day bonusand the third day and the fourth
day, right, and so I've seenhow everything works and he'll
send to the affiliates.
Okay, now today's bonus is this, and this is like what they
would get, and if they signed upon the first day, they get all
of it.
If they signed up on the firstday, they get all of it.
If they signed up on the secondday, they get day two to four,

(25:07):
and so it has been really, really mind blowing, awesome,
and it's good training for whenI create my own and do all the
things.
But yeah, that's why I wantedto jump in on that one.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
It's important too, if you're going to do those time
constraints, to make sure thatyou follow through with them,
because then people won'tbelieve you.
It's important too, if you'regoing to do those time
constraints, to make sure thatyou follow through with them,
because then people won'tbelieve you.
Like if you say this offer endsat this day unless you send
something out, and being like,oh my gosh, we're going to
extend it, but, like, don't putthose countdown timers, and then
the next time they log in, itchanges again.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
Yeah, agreed, absolutely, because then you're
not being authentic and peoplejust don't really believe when
you're like, okay, this is it.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
Yeah Well.
And it can also backfire on thefact that people are like, oh
well, let me wait and see if itgoes lower.
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
Agreed.
So lead generation and emaillist growth are crucial for
online business success.
This has been like the bigtopic, I think, ever since
Facebook had this big yes shutdown like shut down thing.
It was insane and I'm like, yeah, that's where I do my

(26:14):
business, so growth is so, soimportant.
Can you explain some of themost effective strategies for
generating leads and growing anemail list?

Speaker 3 (26:25):
Yes, 100%.
So one of the great ways tolead generate for your email
list is to offer some sort oflead magnet freebie that people
have to opt in.
So, in order for them to giveyou their contact information,
you have to give them somethingin return, because people aren't
just going to typically sign upfor your newsletter because, no
matter how great you are, theydon't care about getting the

(26:47):
emails right.
So you have to give themsomething and it has to be
amazing.
And also with that is peoplecreate these freebies and stuff
all the time that are so genericthat everybody signs up for
them and they're not niched downto their people.
This freebie lead magnet needsto be just down, narrowed down

(27:07):
to the exact type of person thatyou want to be talking to,
right?
The next part that's really, really great for growing your
email list is joint ventures, which is participating in some
sort of bundle summit orpartnerships with others.
You can do partner withinfluencers or other affiliates

(27:29):
to promote your offerings andalso just have affiliates that
promote yours as well, and thoseare like the fastest ways to
grow your email list.
And with the lead magnets, youcan run ads to your freebie.
You can post them on yoursocial media platform.
You can post them in Facebookgroups and other things like

(27:49):
that as well for that organictraffic.
But the joint ventures isreally really great because
you're really tapping into otherpeople's email lists as well.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Yeah, yeah, which is what my mindset coach did, and
he, like I, was an affiliate, sowhen I'm sending out emails and
getting people in the group, then he he now has these, my
people, that become his peopleas well, and yeah, I think
that's awesome.
I see, I see all of the thingsAll connecting.

(28:20):
It's all connecting.
So a mindset plays asignificant role in
entrepreneurial success.
I know this very well.
What mindset shifts do youbelieve are necessary for online
business owners to achievetheir goals, and how can they
overcome the mental barriers?
Because those happen.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
Yeah, every day, and I think that this is something
that people need to work atevery day, every week, all the
time.
It's so important because weput so much pressure on
ourselves as an entrepreneur, and one of the worst things that
we do is compare ourselves toothers right, and we get
imposter syndrome and you, justyou really get caught up in

(29:01):
yourself and comparing yourself, your business, your products,
whatever it is to others, andthe reality is you are either
comparing yourself to somethingthat's unrealistic one, or
you're comparing yourself tosomebody who is at Z when you're
starting at a.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
Right, and that can do a lot to mess up with your
mind, because you're like, oh mygosh, they're amazing, they
have 600,000 followers.
I'm never going to be there.
It's impossible, and once youstart that self-doubting and all
of that stuff, it makes it somuch harder for you to move
forward and implement the thingsthat you need to do for your
business.
So it's really important tofind what helps you for your

(29:44):
mental health, whether it'sworking out, journaling,
affirmations, having a mindsetcoach or some sort of business
coach that can help you put thatconfidence back into yourself,
because we're all very capableof running million dollar
businesses, right?
If we just follow through anddo what we do the thing.
Everybody has something that'svery unique themselves, right?

(30:07):
Nobody, no, two people are thesame.
Yep, nobody can be me, right?
So somebody out there whateveryou have to offer, somebody
needs it, somebody needs yourvoice.
They need whatever it is thatyou have to offer.
So that's why I tell everybodyyou should be making courses or
helping people.
They need you out there.
It all, it all, ties together.

(30:27):
Mindset plays a huge part inyour success.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
Yeah, I agree, and that's, I think, for all of it.
We have a platform for workoutsand nutrition and mindset Like
that is such a huge part of anyjourney and it is very, very
easy.
So even people on my team thathave said, well, I can't do what
you do, I'm not asking you todo what I do, I'm asking you to

(30:53):
do what is authentic to you.
Just show up and you can'tcompare my nine years of
experience to you've been doingthis for a month, right, like,
and I can't compare to somebodyelse's 12 years of experience or
whatever.
It just it doesn't compare.

(31:15):
And as long as you one foot infront of the other, then you're
progressing.
And Tony Robbins has this quotethat says progress equals
happiness and as long as you'reprogressing, right, he said that
and I was like, oh, yeah, thatmakes so much sense Because it's
okay that in my customer base,it's okay to lose one pound a

(31:36):
day a week rather than gainingtwo pounds a week.
So, as long as we'reprogressing towards your goals,
then hey, that's what we needand it is all mindset in that
aspect.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
Yeah, and I think, too, that it's really important
to make time for the things thatmake you happy and say no to
the ones that don't like.
It's so powerful to learn tosay no, and I think that really
becomes a lot easier the olderyou get.
Yeah, it's like the 40 andabove You're like yes, whatever,

(32:10):
and I reached a point where I'mlike no, that you know what.
That does not serve me.
I don't want to do that, justknow, don't be the person who
said yeah, yeah, yeah, thatsounds great, I'll call you, and
then you don't follow throughbecause then you look like the
flaky person that let go, youdon't want to do it.
Be honest, say no, whatever itis.
You don't want to pet sit forsomebody.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Say no, whatever it is, and then just spend more
time doing the things that domake you happy If it's going to
the beach, if it's long walks,if it's reading a book

(33:06):
no-transcript the birds, and Isee cardinals, which is always
what reminds me of my dad, andit puts me in a headspace of
like, all right, I got this, Icould do, could do.
I'm in such a much better space.
I believe that then the thingsthat come my way, I'm like yeah,

(33:31):
I've got this, I have fiverecordings today.
Yep, I've got this.
Just anything that justswitches that mindset as to like
I feel so overwhelmed with life, to like I'm doing what I love,
what am.

Speaker 3 (33:47):
I overwhelmed about and make sure you schedule that.
Make sure you schedule thisstuff for yourself.
You write it on your planner, your calendar, put that time in
there.
It's important, yeah,absolutely.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
So, yeah, what limiting beliefs or roadblocks
did you have to overcome inorder to get where you are today
?

Speaker 3 (34:07):
All of the things, honestly, that we just talked
about, because I'm just asguilty as everybody else.
I'm always comparing myself and, honestly, if you spend any
time on social media or whatever, if you go down the rabbit hole
and start looking at somethingthat you want to compare
yourself to and then a millionmore of those people come up and
then all of a sudden you'relike I can't do this, whatever

(34:28):
what I have to offer.
Like 8 million other people arealready doing it, right, yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
Oh my gosh, yes, that's what happened with me and
podcasting.

Speaker 3 (34:36):
I was like yeah, I have a podcast, Like everybody's
got one.
We're not talking about socialmedia or content, but it's a
great platform to do.

Speaker 2 (34:47):
Yes, absolutely.
What daily habits would you sayhelped you reach your level of
success and continue to reachyour potential?

Speaker 3 (34:56):
So I'll say one of the biggest things is treating
my business like a businessalways, you know, for the last
20 years is just making surethat, especially if you're self
employed, you're a solopreneur,and stuff like that.
If you work from home, it'seven worse.
Like don't even get me startedon that, but you have to.
You know, plan that all out.
I'm at my office.

(35:17):
I don't expect everybody to dothis, but I'm at my office by
8am every day, monday throughFriday, and I work a lot.
I love what I do, and when youlove what you do, it's totally
different, right?
So I love it.
And then I love to listen topodcasts.
I like to read, but I'mcompletely obsessed with

(35:37):
learning.
So I am that person that buysevery infomercial, I buy every
course, I buy every product andthat's overwhelming, for sure,
but I love learning.
Like I'm so passionate.
You know about that.
So the things that you know Ido daily is one of the other
things is I love listening tomusic.
Music makes me so happy andit's not depressed music.

(35:58):
I can't listen to that unlessI'm sad and I want to cry.
I want to listen to upbeat, happy, bumping music and then
that makes me just feel like Ican conquer the world.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Oh just right here with through me.
I, every morning I wake up andI do my pre workout, but I do
what I call my go go juice dance, because it's the juice that
makes me go, go, go.
But I do it with music andthat's.
I'll post like a 30 second clipon my stories and that, I know,

(36:30):
is like what starts my day, like, yeah, and I'll have like
salsa Saturday and bachataSunday and then like throwback
Thursday and I'll do some 80sand 90s, whatever.
I'll just do whatever feelsgood, because moving my body and
dancing is like my happy placeyes, music is so good for the

(36:50):
soul and even like in the middleof the day and stuff.

Speaker 3 (36:52):
If you find yourself starting to feel down or
unenergized and stuff.
Like just crank that music up alittle bit and if you're in an
office with a bunch of otherpeople, pop some airpods in or
headphones and just get up andlike the energy that it's just
like working out right, likewhen you do it you should be
tired and stuff, which sometimesyou are, but it gives you more
energy, like internally.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
Yeah, yeah, I agree, we are very similar.
This is awesome.
So anything else that you wantto say or speak to, I want to
hear what your podcast name is,so that our listeners could tune
in as well.
But, yeah, give us anythingelse that you want to talk about
.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
My podcast is called the Laptop Lifestyle Lounge and
it's really just about onlinebusiness entrepreneurs and it
just provides resources and tipsand tools and stuff.
It's really quick, like they'reall like under 15 minutes
typically.
Like they're all like under 15minutes typically, so they're
real quick.
You can listen to them, get in,get out, and we also have them

(37:51):
on YouTube as well, so you canwatch them if you like that
better.
I do I particularly lovewatching and that's the reason
why I said doing the podcast.

your business, anyway, so weoffer tons of resources in there
.
We also have a Facebook groupthat has coaches, creators and

(38:12):
online entrepreneurs that wejust provide resources, tools
and tips because, when it comesdown to it, like we're all
together and we can learn somuch from each other and

So I love it.
