He is the Founder and CEO of the International Council on Active Aging (ICAA) and the founder of the active-aging industry in North America. A 42-year veteran of the fitness and wellness industry, Milner is recognized as an authority on the health and well-being of older adults. He has been named one of the “most innovative and influential minds” on aging by the World Economic Forum.
An award-winning writer with more than 300 published articles, Milner has contributed to top academic and policy journals and spoken at events around the world. His insights have been sought by organizations such as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the White House Conference on Aging, the World Health Organization, the World Economic Forum, the Olympics, and Fortune 10 company Apple. His work has been featured in major media outlets including CNN, Newsweek, BBC, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times.
