Tamara McLemore is the rock star owner of Project Business Academy where she coaches women to Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Greatness.
Her company is a Project Management Institute Authorized Partner, and she insists on not just teaching future PMPs, she educates them to plan more efficiently, execute with authority, and implement projects with ease.
She has 20 years of IT project management for household names such as Delta Airlines, Deloitte, and the federal government and an MBA in Global Technology Management and a master’s certificate in Project Management.
She’s also taught project management at universities and organizations across the globe including in India and Dubai.
Tamara is also a speaker and career and personal development coach who is driven by her personal mission to eliminate the wage gap of Black women earning 67 cents for every dollar paid to a white man.
She is also an active 25-year member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.
I had the chance to get to know Tamara during an author retreat in 2024 and I remember her as friendly, bold, caring, highly accomplished, and fun. Let’s all get to know a little more about Tamara.
