One of my fondest memories of my childhood was watching the movie, Cinderella. I adored her gown and couldn’t wait to someday wear my own. Like many young women, I wore my first fancy dress to my high school prom. I was lucky because my mother, who was a seamstress, made my beautiful dress.
This is prom season, and young women everywhere are choosing dresses and other outfits to strut on their special night. Thanks to a savvy and kind woman, a retired investment banker turned substitute teacher, turned community leader – many high-schoolers in Newark, New Jersey, and surrounding areas are getting their dresses for FREE!
