Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, hello, hello.
Welcome back to the AI Cafeconversations, where we brew the
richest flavors of technologyand society.
I am Sahar, your AI Whisperer, your host, ready to guide you
through another fascinatingtopic at the intersection of
artificial intelligence andhuman ingenuity and human

(00:27):
ingenuity.
Today we are venturing into theart studio, the music lab and
the writers desk to discover howAI is partnering with human
creativity to craft new forms ofart.
So grab your cup of inspirationtoday.
It's expressive for me, boldand innovative.
But before we go through that,as usual and in the beginning of

(00:47):
every single episode of mypodcast, I usually like to share
with you the newest elements orthe newest news that are in the
market right now for AI.
The first thing is that, again,it always comes up.
I know that AI is going toreplace jobs, but actually there

(01:10):
are jobs.
There are parts of jobs thathave been replaced by AI, so
there exists multiple truthsaround it.
So AI is not yet replacingmillions of jobs in mass, but is
ai is doing the repetitivetasks of people, so it's

(01:31):
replacing tasks in different job, not their entire jobs, for
still people, because guess whywe still need humans in the loop
.
Uh, ai is good to do parts ofpeople jobs really well, like
handling customer supportinquiries, like entering data,
like CRM.
So again, it's little tasks andnot the whole job.

(01:55):
The other big news is meta isgoing to be part of.
No, let me rephrase that, Idon't want to give you the big
news right away.
So I shared last week thatApple is actually going to use
OpenAI so they can be the newestversion of Siri.

(02:18):
But also the new news this weekis that Apple and we talked
about Apple Intelligence lastweek, which is ai, smart, smart,
smart, right.
So they're not going to belaunching april apple
intelligence in the europeanunion anytime soon because there
are few things going on withthe eu regulations.
So they are trying to uh, kindof make sure that they are doing

(02:41):
the right thing, if you want tocall it of, make sure that they
are doing the right thing, ifyou want to call it um.
But apple also and meta are intalks to integrate meta's
generative ai into apple's.
Recently um developed aisystems for iphones.
And why apple is doing that?

(03:02):
Because I guess they want toshare or they want to make sure
that they are diversifying therisks.
So they are contracting withmultiple AI companies.
Yes, chad GPT is going to bedoing their Siri, but they are,
for example, looking at not onlyMeta, but Anthropic that is,
the parent company of Cloudperplexity to enhance their

(03:27):
Apple intelligence that theyjust announced in their
conference last week, andthey're going to have premium
subscriptions because of that.
They also are making sure thatthey are offering the best for
their iPhone and I can't wait tothe new version of siri that is

(03:47):
powered by chat gpt will beworking so I can use it and I
will share my experience withyou.
The other big news is thatnvidia that today went actually
their stocks went a little bitdown where last week they were
really really up.
They just signed a deal in theMiddle East, specifically with

(04:07):
the country of Qatar, qatariTelecoms, and it's going to be
the first company in the regionto allow access to NVIDIA AI and
graphic processing technologytechnology.

(04:29):
One of the biggest news thisweek is that Anthropic released
its newest model of ClaudeClaude Saunet, or Claude Saunet,
if you want to say it in French, 3.5.
And according to a lot ofreports and benchmarks, it's
better than any other chatbot, including ChatGPT 4.0.
So they say it's two timesfaster than the Club 3 Opus that
was the previous version thatthey had and they are actually

(04:56):
benchmarks that they have made.
Make sure that they compared it, like I said, with its biggest
competition of ChatGPT 4.0.
The first impressions is thatCloudSone 3.5 is a lot faster
than ChatGPT 4.0, and it alsoseems to just get what people

(05:20):
are looking for.
It writes strongly or strongerthan chat gpt.
Uh, they have more human like, concise and creative way of
writing.
Uh, I'm honestly very happywith chat gpt too, but, just in
case, I'm gonna try it as well.
Uh, it said that it also someof the um software engineers say

(05:44):
that it can solve issues thatchat gpt 4.0 can't and it's also
better at handling largerdocuments.
Uh, this is awesome, like if wewant to compare, but honestly,
I use when I'm trying toresearch something, I use few of
them together, so I use Gemini,I use Copilot, I use Cloud, I

(06:05):
use Perplexity for resources andI use, of course, my favorite,
chad GPT.
The only difference with ChadGPT is that it's missing some
stuff that Chad GPT has Clouddoesn't have.
Like Chad GPT has an imagegenerator Cloud Sony doesn't.
The voice mode Cloud Sonydoesn't, and memory or custom

(06:30):
instructions it doesn't, as wellas the GPTs.
So these are all new thingsthat just happened this week.
Like usually, I share a coupleof tools with you.
One of the ones that I reallylike is quill bot, and it's an a
writing company.

(06:50):
You can a companion, you canactually uh add it when you do
your prompts on chat gpt and itwill correct your grammar and
your typos.
I like it a lot better thangrammarly, because grammarly is
somehow clunky and heavy and itdoesn't correct it for you,
versus quill bot corrects it foryou.
It has a free version that islimited, but it also has a paid

(07:15):
one lately.
Lately is actually aneuroscience uh ai uh tool that
can help you with your brandvoice.
It gets to know who you are andlearn who you are, and it can
create social contents from youraudience.
And I actually just I'm goingto give credit to where I had

(07:37):
this, it's actually from AI toolreport.
These are a couple of tools.
The other thing that I want toshare before I go into our
episode today is that rememberthat there are still few
challenges with using ChatGPT orusing AI, that it doesn't have

(07:58):
a consciousness or differentperspectives.
It doesn't do futurepredictions.
It doesn't have probability offuture.
It can.
It's not very, verypersonalized in every industry,
though it's becoming better bythe day.
Um, it has a bias, so we alwaysand I keep doing saying that.

(08:20):
So please be careful thatsometimes it chooses ambiguous
wording, so make sure it doesn'thave that.
It doesn't know emotionalunderstanding or empathy, but
you can train it actually onempathy.
It has lack of common sense.
It cannot do multiplemodalities at the time.

(08:41):
Tokens is somehow.
Amount of data, especially onthe free version, is limiting
and sometimes it keeps repeatingits information.
So the first, the best advice Ican give you is, when you start
impromptu is to assign a rolefor chat GPT, like as my
branding expert and SEO advisor,as my marketing consultant that

(09:03):
specializes in leadership, asmy video script writer with
awards from Emmy Awards, orwhatever.
So you need to always give it away you know, or give it like a
function that it understands uhwhat it can do for you.
So back to uh the episode today, and we're going to talk about

(09:28):
our studios, music labs and allthat.
So imagine walking into agallery not filled just with
paintings by human artists, butalso with works created in
collaboration with AI randomswirls of color, but thoughtful

(09:52):
compositions, where aialgorithms analyze historical
art pattern and suggest newforms, which artists then bring
to life.
This blending of ai and art isnot replacing artists again, not
replacing artists.
It's empowering them with newtools and perspective, much like
how a barista uses a high-techespresso machine to enhance

(10:14):
their craft.
Again, ai is not going toreplace jobs.
People with AI skills are goingto replace these jobs.
It's just taking care of thetasks of the jobs that are
repetitive, at least till nowfor those skeptical.

(10:34):
So let's step into the musicstudio.
Here, ai is like a new genre ofmusic.
Musicians and composers areusing AI to experiment with
sounds and rhythm that were onceimpossible or unimaginable.
But I also want to let you knowthat a lot of artists and Sony
studios have sent letterscomplaining to Chad GPT on their

(10:58):
copyrights and theirintellectual property.
So it's important.
Always I try maybe because I'ma Libra I try to look at both
sides, but we also need to havea balance in whatever we do.
Ai algorithms can now analyzevast database of music to
generate unique compositions.
The artist then tweaks and addsa personal touch, crafting

(11:21):
something entirely new.
New, perhaps, a symphony thatincludes not just traditional
instruments but digitallycreated sounds that resonate
with today's tech savvylisteners.
Now, moving onward, imagine awriter struggling with writer's
block.
Enter AI, not as a replacement, but as a muse and assistant.

(11:49):
By feeding it themes, styles oreven half-finished stories.
Writers can use AI to suggestplot twists, dialogues or even
character developments, muchlike a barista experimenting

(12:10):
with different blends to createa perfect new coffee flavor.
But what does that all mean forthe future of creativity, you
might ask?
Some fear that AI might dilutethe purity of art, making it
less human.
Yet isn't art always evolving, just as coffee culture has

(12:38):
embraced new technology to bringus novel experiences from cold
brew into nitro coffee?
Perhaps it's time our artisticexpressions do the same.
As we ponder this, let's alsoconsider the ethics and
applications.

(12:58):
How do we credit art createdwith AR?
What rights do machines haveover their creations, if any?
There are not justphilosophical questions, but
practical ones impactingcopyrights, ownership and the
essence of creative expression.
Again, we will always at leastin this podcast look at both

(13:24):
sides.
So as we finish our cups today, let's think about how AI could
influence or enhance our owncreative pursuits.
Whether you are an artist, amusician, a writer or simply an
appreciator of culture, ai mightjust be the unexpected

(13:48):
collaborator.
You need to discover newhorizons.

thoughts innovative.
