Speaker 1 (00:13):
Hello, hello, hello.
Welcome to the AI CafeConversations, where today, we
are serving up a special blendof insights on some of the
leading AI models that areshaping our digital landscape.
I am Sahar, your AI whisperer, your host, ready to navigate you

(00:36):
through the capabilities, benefits and pitfalls of ChatGPT
, cloud, gemini, copilot, metaand perplexity.
So grab your coffee and let'sdive in into the world of AI.
But before we do that, as wealways do, I'm going to start

(00:58):
sharing some news with you inthe AI world, and the biggest
one is that open AI CEO, samAltman and Ariana Huffington
announced that they are buildinga personalized AI health coach.
So We'll see what's gonnahappen out of that.

(01:23):
We'll see what's going tohappen out of that.
The other big news is thatresearchers on the Google team
mapped the biggest and mostdetailed AI-assisted
reconstruction of human braintissue to date, and what it does
is that it captures each braincell and neural network in very,
very detailed way.

(01:44):
They have plans to reconstructa whole mouse brain.
Why should we care about that?
Because it pushes theboundaries of current technology
and brings us closer to gettingvaluable insight into the human
brain, so we can understandbrain functions and diseases
better.
So I wanna actually say thankyou for the publishers of this

(02:10):
news, which is the ai to report.
I always like to mention whereI got my sources.
The other big news is that, despite the rumors circulating
that apple is going to launchcirculating that Apple is going
to launch the Siri with chat GPTvery soon, actually these plans

(02:35):
have been put on the backburner and it's probably the new
update.
Ai updates to Siri will notarrive till sometime next year,
but Apple is still going on withtheir anticipated apple
intelligence features this year, specifically with the release
of ios 18 and the new phone 16series, and what siri will do.

(02:58):
It will have features that haveability to control apps, have
more complex tasks as editing, sending pictures and maybe
suggest next steps for you.
The other news we have is thatyoutube has launched an ai
powered eraser tool, basicallythat can have creators kind of

(03:23):
remove or cut out thecopyrighted music from their
videos without affecting theiraudio elements, like if they are
a voiceover or sound effects.
I know in the old days if theyhave a copyrighted music, they
would just mute that part of thevideo.
So now it doesn't do that, itjust removes the copyrighted
music, which is great for peoplethat are using youtube videos

(03:48):
for their branding.
Speaking of apple, open, aiupdated its chat gpt mac app so
it can encrypt the chats, sothis way, no one can access your
chat convos with chat GPT,which, again, it's really good
for security.

(04:09):
And now going to a couple oftools that can help you, one of
them is EverArt, and it lets youtrain an AI image generator on
any product style or mood board.
Again, this is taking from aito report.
Actually, they're having like agreat, uh, great newsletter

(04:30):
that they do and I need to givecredit to them.
The other, the other sourcethat I use usually in the news
and the new apps that I use, isthe neuron.
They have a newsletter that isawesome, um, and I just just
want to let you know the sourceswhere I get everything.
Another app that is there isVoice Isolator and it can remove

(04:57):
background noise from any film, podcast or interview or
interview.
There is Redis, which is readSSS it transforms your Twitter
feed into a daily podcast thatyou can actually listen to.
These are kind of three appsthat can help you in your daily

(05:17):
work.
A new tool or app for thatautomates and enhances LinkedIn
content creation is AccentoA-C-C-E-N-T-O.
If you are building your brandand you want to make sure that
you have your Google reviews astestimonials, as online
credibility or as social proof, there is a new app called

(05:42):
reviewly.
It's r e v I e w l?
Y.
So these are a couple of uhlike.
I always like to share a few uhapps with you and always
remember whatever you enter inthe prompt, garbage in, garbage
out.
So you need to make sure justbecause you put a prompt in AI

(06:04):
doesn't make you an expert.
So you need to be aware of whatyou put on, how you build your
prompt, which we call promptengineering, and how you keep
plugging every detail again andthat's what we call prompt
chaining.
Now on with our episode fortoday, and it's the AI in our AI

(06:28):
Cafe conversation and it'sbasically a taste test of
language models sampling sixunique ai brews chat, gpt, clode
from anthropic gemini, google, copilot, microsoft, meta, of

(06:54):
course, meta blend andperplexity.
So the ai language models arelike different coffee blends
Each has its own flavor profile, strength and best use cases.
Just as coffees fuels ourmorning, these AI models power

(07:15):
modern technology.
So, if we are talking about theflavor profile, just as each
coffee blend has its uniqueflavor profile.
Each AI language model has itsown flavor or style of
processing and generatinglanguage.
For example, models like GPTfrom OpenAI are known for their

(07:35):
broad conversational abilitiesthat can generate everything
from stories to code akin to awell-rounded coffee blend
suitable for any time of day.
On the other hand, models likebirth from google gemini
specialize in understanding thecontext of words in sentences,

(07:57):
similar to a finely tunedexpresso blend that's perfect
for delivering a strong, quickhit of flavor.
The strength of potency of theseblends, which I call the
strength of a coffee blend, canbe thought of in terms of its
caffeine content and its robustflavor.

(08:18):
The same way, ai models vary instrength, defined by their
complexity, number of parametersand depth of training.
Some models are stronger thanothers, designed to handle more
complex tasks or generate morenuanced text, such as a dark

(08:39):
roast might have a profound, intense flavor suited for an
experienced palate.
Each coffee blend is suited todifferent occasions.
A light, mild blend may beperfect for afternoon sipping,
whereas a strong dark roastmight be the go-to for an early
morning wake up like me.

(09:01):
Similarly, different AI modelsexcel in various applications.
For instance, a model like T5is excellent for tasks that
involve transforming one form oftext into another, like
translation, much like aversatile medium boost that
pairs well with or without milk.

(09:22):
I'm allergic to milk, sowithout milk.
For me, models designed forspecific tasks such as legal or
technical document review mightbe likened to a special blend
crafted for a particular flavorprofile or brewing method.
So let's start with Chad GPT, orI call it the house blend, with

(09:49):
chat GPT, or I want I call itthe house plan.
Chat GPT is widespreadpopularity and integration into
various platforms.
It's the go-to choice for manycustomers.
It's a very loud, well-roundedflavor that suits most states
known for its, like I said, conversational prowessGPT is
like your friendly barista whoknows just how to keep the chat

(10:14):
going.
It's great for generatinghuman-like text and can be a
handy tool for everything fromcomposing emails to scripting
podcasts emails to scriptingpodcasts.
However, its tendency to produceconvincing but occasionally
incorrect or biased informationserves as a reminder to

(10:37):
double-check your facts.
Sometimes the beans might be abit stale between quotes
outdated information.
It pairs well with almost anytask you are working on.
They have a free version of itand they have a paid version for

(10:59):
it, which is the chat 4.0.
The difference between them isthe number of tokens as well as
the paid version, will give youmore in-depth information as
well as it can create picturesand it has part that can be a
negotiator or a legal advisor, and it costs $20 a month.

(11:20):
A lot of people do it, you know, with uh, with the free one,
because they feel this is whatthey need from it, so you can do
it for free.
That will give you a limitednumber of tokens or amount of
usage versus the paid version.
The second one that I want totalk about that I'm really
falling in love with these daysis Cloud.

(11:40):
Cloud is the ethically sourcedexpresso.
It focuses, and Cloud isC-L-A-U-D, as in David focuses
on safety and ethics.
It's designed to be moreguarded and precise, potentially
making it a better choice forprofessional settings where

(12:01):
accuracy is crucial.
Think of Claude as themeticulous cafe manager who
ensures every cup of coffeemeets the standard before it
reaches the customer.
It's a strong focus brew with asmooth finish.
It's known for its transparencyabout ingredients or about what

(12:24):
we call AI limitations.
It's great for those whoappreciate knowing exactly
what's in their cup.
Might be too intense for casualsippers.
It's perfect when you need aclear analytical boost that you

(12:48):
want to have.
It creates a simplevisualization showing what you
need to do.
So, for example, one of theprompts that you can use is that
you can ask on cloud to createa simple visualization showing
you a supply chain managementprocess, or create a simple

(13:10):
visualization showing you asales funnel process, so it can
create basically an, if almostan infographic or a diagram for
you that makes it very clear infront of your eyes of what you
can do.
Claude has been especially thenew one, sony 3.5.

(13:30):
Actually, um is looked at as infirst place and it posts chat,
gpt, uh down, and the thing islike with um claude.
I believe it's my personalopinion that it gets a lot
deeper and it really gets whatyou, what you, ask for it.

(13:50):
I usually use two or three ofthese platforms and that's why I
thought to share thedifferences between them today
and then kind of combine them ortake the best one.
The next platform that we'regoing to talk about is gemini.
Gemini is google, themulti-modal mocha, multi-modal
capabilities.
Um, this ai tool is stillshrouded in some mystery and it

(14:14):
has been known to have somehallucinations and a lot of bias
.
Okay, I don't know if it's alot of bias, but just bias.
So I don't want to be likedramatic here, but it has bias.
But it started for itsintegration capabilities with
other software.
Jim and I could be likened tothe espresso machine that not
only brews coffee but alsoautomates ordering, inventory

(14:37):
management, streamlining thecafe operations.
It's a rich blend of flavors, handles, text, images and more.
Even on the the free one, itcan create pictures on the free
version.
Still new on the menu butquickly gaining popularity.
Great when you need a diverserange of input in your work.

(14:57):
Might be overwhelming for thosewho prefer simple moves.
The next platform is Copilot,microsoft.
We call it the coders.
Cold brew specialization incoding assistant.
Get hubs AI that helps codersby suggesting lines of code or
entire functions.

(15:17):
It's like having aknowledgeable assistant who
sometimes whispers just theright ingredients to add to your
coffee to make it perfect.
But be aware Copilot cansometimes suggest outdated or
inappropriate code, much likeoccasionally getting a coffee

(15:38):
tip that doesn't quite suit yourtaste.
It's especially crafted for thelate night coding crowd, helps
programmers stay productive andcaffeinated Not for everyone.
It requires a taste fortechnical tasks and is the
perfect accompaniment for longcoding session.

(15:58):
Moving to the next one, meta.
Obviously, facebook, instagram, whatsapp, meta is the parent
company and we call it the opensource organic plan.
It has an open source approachwith Lama Meta's AI.
Initiatives are vast, butfocusing on their conversational

(16:20):
ability.
These tools are built toenhance your social media
experience presence, tailoringcontent and advertisement based
on user interaction.
So great to help you do yourads on Instagram and on Facebook
.
Think of Meta as the cafe thatremembers your favorite seasonal

(16:41):
drinks and suggests them justwhen you are likely to crave
them.
It's a customizable brew Bringyour own cup and adjust to taste
.
Popular among the DIY crowd wholike to tinker with their
coffee Requires some expertiseto get the best flavor.
And great for those who want tounderstand every step of the

(17:05):
brewing process every step ofthe brewing process.
The next platform is Perplexity.
I call it the fresh press.
It focus on the real timeinformation and search
integrations.
It aims to make information, search and retrieval more
conversational and intuitive.
It's like having a barista whonot only serves your coffee but

(17:26):
also provides answers to yourquestions about the origin of
the beans, the brewing processand even advice on brewing
coffee at home, always brewedwith the latest beans, comes
with a side of sources.
No worry info is coming from.
I love it when I'm doing aresearch because it will give me
resources and sources and linksto articles and sources that I

(17:50):
can.
It can actually basicallycredentials.
If I'm trying to do a blog oran article, it gives me some
credentials on how I can go andresearch it in a better way.
It's perfect for those who needthe most up-to-date information
.
Might be too intense for thosewho prefer a more relaxed
sipping experience, but the lastweek it has been accused of

(18:13):
having perplexity hallucinations, so they are working on that to
bring it aligned back to betterperformance working on that to
bring it aligned back to betterperformance.
So each of these AI tools hasstrengths and weaknesses.
Some are better atunderstanding context, while
others excel at deliveringprecise information.
Perplexity, for example, doesn't do images, but Copilot

(18:38):
does actually choose DALI thatis the tool for the paid chat
GPT to do pictures.
So we choosing the rightplatform depends on your needs
and I suggest that you try themall and play with it, whether
you're looking for a creativepartner or a coding assistant or
a reliable fact checker, sowhich ai will help you with

(19:05):
different tasks.
If you want general tasks, startwith the chat.
Gpt house blend.
Need precision.
Try a shot of cloud expressoworking with various media.
Gemini mocha is your best bet.
Coding project.
Copilot cold brew will keep yougoing.
Want to experiment?

(19:25):
Meta's organic blend is verycustomizable.
Need the latest info?
Perplexity fresh press isalways current.
The good in this platforms isthat these AI brews are making a
revolution in productivity.
The bad of it is too muchcaffeine, I mean AI might keep

(19:48):
you up at night.
The bitter some flavors mightnot sit well with everyone.
Specifically, when it comes toethical concerns and job
placement, the future of that isthat we have to wait and see.
No one on this earth today cantell you or predict who is gonna

(20:09):
be the best for the future ai,how it's gonna work, what would
be the ethics around it, youknow, but, um, we need to all be
, uh, very aware and do our duediligence for ethics when we use
AI.
So, this coffee-themed structurethat we shared I wanted to make

(20:36):
sure that I share it because Ihad been having my clients would
always ask me one should I use.
Should I use this or should Iuse that?
Actually, I tried all of themand, depending on what I want,
which one is stronger.
Um, this is what I use, and Icompare and sometimes I even
combine both of them.
We have these tools, so why, uh, not use it?

(20:58):
Choosing the right one dependson your needs whether you're
looking like of whatever youneed in whatever productivity
that you have.
Folks, that's all for today.
Guides through the complexworld of AI models.
Remember, the best AI for youdepends on what you need from
your digital assistant.

(21:19):
Thank you for joining me at AICafe Conversations.
Don't forget to subscribe andshare your experiences with
these AI tools.
Until next time, keep yourcoffee hot and your curiosity
about AI even harder.
This is your host, sahar, yourAI whisperer.
