Speaker 1 (00:13):
Hello, hello, hello
and welcome to the episode 20th
of your AI Cafe Conversationspodcast.
We are hosting an AI taste test.
We will be sampling five freeAI tools that can add some zest
(00:35):
to your work and personal life.
No techie expertise required, just bring your curiosity.
Today's episode is actuallycontinuous a focus on specific
free AI tools that you can startusing immediately.
It's like I'm offering atasting menu at our AI Cafe
(01:00):
conversations, allowing you tosample different AI flavors
without any cost or commitment.
That means you have you gotthree samples in here, and
that's what we do at our ai cafeconversation.
But, as usual, before I startour um podcast for today, let me
(01:22):
share some of the AI news thathappened this week.
Then I will give you a coupleof tools and then we'll go into
the episode.
If you have any questions orany comments, you can always
email me at sahar atsaharconsultingcom.
Sahar is S as in Sam A-H-A-Rsaharis assassin.
(01:49):
Sam a h a r.
Please like, share andrecommend our podcast to your
friends.
This is how we can increase ourlisteners.
We're still in the beginning.
It's only 20 episodes, so Ijust want to make sure that I
get your help and your supportto make it bigger your ai cafe
conversation, where no techskills are required.
So Google has, as we all of usknow have, started launching
(02:11):
their AI summary that gives youan overview, with whatever
results you are looking for, though it has been known
sometimes to have somehallucinations and it had some
questionable early results.
So google actually announced anupdate that will change how it
displays links to cited websites, and they have the two new
(02:35):
features in actually beta, andthey are expect expanding it to
six new countries and how it'sdoing that.
Especially that it received abig backlash from publishers, as
they feared providing moredetails on the search results
would reduce the number of usersvisiting their sites.
(02:58):
So Google wanted to make surethat they are following the
right way, and they wanted tomake sure that they are
following the right way and theywanted to make it easier for
people to visit their sites andto reduce the friction.
They are going to display thepublisher links even more
prominently so people can seethem in a better way, and the
(03:20):
early testing actually showedpositive results for that that
it has driven higher numbers ofpeople to publisher sites.
So this is, I consider this, awin for both google and the
publisher.
The next big news is that ftchas banned fake ai reviews.
(03:42):
There were a lot of people thatwere kind of buying or enticing
people with free product to useai tools to write human like
fake reviews, and they found outthat probably 40 of online
reviews have been doing that.
So ftc, to protect americansand put businesses that are FTC,
(04:08):
to protect Americans and putbusinesses that are playing by
the rules in a better positionthan those that are in lawfully
gaming the system on notice, they wanted to create a market
that are fair, honest andcompetitive, and they actually
issued penalties for those whoviolate the rule, with fines
reaching up to more than $51,000per offense.
And it's awesome.
It's great because actually, amazon has removed and blocked
(04:35):
over 250 million suspected fakereviews in 2023 and actually
filed a lawsuit against a brokerof fake AI.
Please, please, please.
Don't buy anything that youdon't have.
So don't buy reviews on Google.
Don't buy followers on socialmedia Instagram.
(04:55):
The minute you buy followers oryou do like for like or follow
for follow, instagram algorithmscan actually catch you and they
will grab, ban, shadow you, meaning that whatever you do
after that with your profile isas well as if you closed it or,
(05:16):
uh, lose it.
So it takes work.
Everything takes work and takestime.
Please spend the time to do it.
The other news from Google isthat it released an upgrade
image tools.
It will generate images withbetter, a lot more detailed,
better lighting and fewdistracting artifacts, and it's
(05:42):
using Imogen 3 and it's waybetter than Imogen 2.
So there are people that havebeen using it and they actually
said that there are someguidelines put in place, like it
will not generate images ofcopyrighted of public figures
(06:03):
and weapons, but it will stillcan create images that resemble
copyrighted figures, just not ofthat.
So I just wanted to share that.
And it's again.
It's still on beta.
The biggest news for Chad GPT isthat the search GPT is actually
(06:23):
starting to.
I'm on the waiting list, like Itold you the last time.
I will let you know how thatgoes, but people that have been
already invited into use searchGPT, they're finding out that
it's actually compared toperplexity and Google is doing
way better.
It's more comprehensive.
It just doesn't give you textand that's it, but it also gives
(06:47):
you tutorials, embedded videosand, provided screenshots, you
can even ask it to teach you howto use search gpt, which is
like actually uh awesome.
It also will give you citationconsistency.
So it's like if it's like itwas the child of perplexity and
(07:10):
Google together, which is I'm afan of chat, gpt, so maybe I
have some bias there and and itsays one of the testers said
that it's like having theability to search through the
first three pages of google, compile all the information and
write a summary.
Um, again, I'm getting a lot ofinformation from the neuron.
(07:32):
Like, like I said before, Ilove them.
I get their newsletter and theyare.
It's so cute and so simple, uh,to read that.
Uh, I basically just uh love it.
Eric Schmidt that was the formerCEO of Google had a talk.
He was speaking at Stanford and, all of a sudden, whatever he
(07:53):
did went viral.
Why?
Because he had a take on howsuccessful AI companies can
steal content and hire lawyersto clean up the mess.
Content and hire lawyers toclean up the mess.
So, uh, it didn't go too wellwith a lot of people.
So I just wanted to let youknow that.
The other thing is that thereis a california law that is
(08:15):
starting to go to prevent the aitools for certain functions
that some people in the Senateare looking at it, that it might
actually stifle the growth ofAI.
So it would be interesting tolook at what the local
(08:36):
government will do towards theSenate on how to use AI and a
new research that Deloitte hasdone, they found that 79% of
business leaders reportedfull-scale deployment of three
or more types of AI applications.
I personally use chatGPTcontinuously and for my slides I
(08:59):
use presentationsai, the paidform, and I know that some
people told me that if theydon't pay for it it's not
helping, and we need to realizethat most of the ai tools these
days you have to pay for them.
But presentationsai, if youwant to use it, it can be you,
you can download.
If it's the free version, youcan download it on either pdf or
(09:21):
png.
You can edit it on the websiteitself on presentationsai and
just download it as a picture ifyou want.
But for me, just like even itcan give you ideas you can just
enter a prompt and it will showyou how you could do the slides,
the content that you need to doon the slides and also the
sequence of the slides.
(09:42):
I tried it a couple of timesfor pitch decks and it actually
worked really well.
So the different functions thatpeople are using AI for is data
analysis, writing codes, crms, writing emails, grading websites
, using it for SEO and keywords, social media calendars,
(10:05):
advertising, financial analysisand management, transcripts and
summaries, business plans,marketing plans, customer
service.
All that actually is what youcan do using AI, any of the
platforms, like I said, and theyare mainly the six main ones
(10:30):
that I actually use.
So one of the tools that Iwanted to give you today before
we leave is Fiction Fusion, andit creates stories with ai.
You have also nd andi.
That is an ai powered searchtool.
(10:52):
The other thing that I forgotto mention really quick is that
actually, chat gpt has stoppedum people that are using AI for
negative political propaganda.
They actually stopped them.
They found a couple ofinfluence groups called Storm
(11:13):
2035, and they actually stoppedthem to prevent any interference
with the elections.
Prevent any interference withthe elections.
Another tool is Langwifi, andit's an AI-powered web extension
that optimizes copywriting.
One of the Chrome extensionsthat I really love is called
(11:33):
PromGenius, and it actually youcan save I don't know if I
talked about it before.
You can save your prompts inthere and just revoke them with
a stroke on your keyboard, sothis way you don't have to keep
repeating the information.
So I'm going to help you with aprompt that you can use if you
need to reschedule.
Obviously, we kind of dodgerescheduling because it's like a
(11:57):
little bit unprofessional, unless we have an emergency.
But we can make it a little bitbetter.
So you can say we agreed onmeeting, and then the date of
your meeting or scheduledmeeting or whatever, and say so
we agreed into a meeting on thisday at this time, but I have an
(12:22):
unexpected family emergency andI need to reschedule.
Please write a professionalemail requesting a reschedule
that maintains a positiveimpression.
The tone should be appreciative, polite, professional,
courteous, but not overly formal.
Professional purchase, but notoverly formal.
(12:47):
The email should be simple, tothe point and not reveal too
many personal details.
So this is a way on how to useAI with a prompt engineering,
and I always like to give you atleast one example of prompt
engineering in the podcast.
So let's move to the actualepisode with the five tools that
I shared with you before.
The first AI flavor is thecanvas magic right, and, as you
(13:11):
know, I love Canva.
It saved my life a few times.
There is a free version of itand there is a paid version for
it, but they have somethingcalled magic right up that that
know that magic right.
It's like the smooth, reliablehouse blend for our AI cafe.
What does it do?
(13:31):
It helps you write anythingfrom social media post to
presentations outlines.
It generates ideas and expandson your initial thoughts.
How to use it?
Go to canvacom and sign up fora free account.
Click on any design template.
(13:54):
Look for the magic right button.
It looks like a magic wand.
Type in what you want to writeabout.
For example, if you type fivetips for staying productive
while working from home, it willgenerate a quick outline for
you.
It's like having abrainstorming partner available
(14:15):
24-7.
Remember, always review andpersonalize the content it
generates.
Think of it as a starting point, not a final product.
Always personalize the thingsthat you do.
The second ai flavor is midjourney.
It's free on discord.
I personally have somechallenges with it, but I'm
(14:39):
gonna send, I'm gonna share itwith you.
So it's a little bit different.
Mid journey is like theartisanal pour over of our AI
cafe.
It takes a bit more effort toprepare, but the results are
stunning, it's true.
What it does?
It generates unique imagesbased on your text descriptions
(15:00):
and it can create anything fromlandscapes to abstract concepts.
How to use it join discord it'sfree.
Go to mid journey discordserver.
Use the slash image commandfollowed by your description for
it.
For example, type slash.
(15:22):
Imagine a cozy cafe with booksand a cat in the window and
watch as it creates a uniqueimage matching your description.
It's like having a personalartist who can bring your ideas
to life in seconds.
Remember, the free version haslimitation on how many images
(15:45):
you can generate, so use itwisely.
Ai flavor number three chat GPT.
No AI testing menu would becomplete without ChatGPT.
It's like the versatilecappuccino of our cafe.
(16:05):
It can be whatever you need itto be.
What it does?
It actually answers questionson a wide variety of topics and
it helps with writing, coding, problem solving and more.
How to use it?
Go to chatopenaicom and sign upfor a free account.
(16:28):
Type in your question orrequest.
This is what we call a prompt.
For example, you could ask canyou explain quantum computing in
simple terms?
Or help me plan a weekend tripto New York City?
It's like having aknowledgeable friend who's
always ready to chat, or anexpert or a business advisor on
(16:50):
your side.
Remember, while ChatGPT isincredibly helpful, always
verify important informationfrom reliable sources, as always
, because again, some of theplatform might have what we call
hallucinations.
Now for AI number four, or Icall it AI flavor number four, I
(17:16):
would recommend removebg.
Removebg B, as in boy G, as inGeorge, we have that tool that
is removebg.
Think of it as the efficient,no-nonsense espresso shot in our
AI lineup.
What it does?
(17:37):
It removes backgrounds fromimage instantly.
It works with people, productsand or any object.
How to use it Go to removebg.
Upload an image or paste animage, url or link.
Download your image with thebackground removed.
Url or link download your imagewith the background removed.
(17:59):
It's perfect for creatingprofessional-looking product
photos, cleaning up profilepictures or making custom
graphics.
Imagine being able to putyourself on a beach in seconds,
at least in a photo form.
The free version of course hassome limitations on resolution,
(18:22):
but for most everyday users it'smore than sufficient.
Our fifth and last AI flavor iscrisp K-R-I-S.
As in Sam P, as in Paul, kripsis like the noise cancelling
headphones of our AI cafe.
It helps you focus on what'simportant by filtering out the
(18:46):
background noise.
What it does?
It removes background noisefrom your audio in real time
during calls.
Works with virtually anycommunication app like zoom,
skype, teams etc.
Can also cancel echo andenhance your voice.
How to use it?
(19:07):
Go to crispai and sign up for afree account.
Download and install crisp app.
Open your preferredcommunication app.
Select Crisp as your microphoneand speaker in the app's audio
settings and I think I'm goingto try that for my next podcast.
And you tell me the difference.
(19:28):
Okay, imagine being able tocall from a busy cafe without
worrying about the espressomachine noise in the background,
or joining a video meeting fromhome without stress of your
neighbor's lawnmower or darkbarking do.
I know both?
The free version gives you 120minutes of noise cancellation
(19:48):
per week, which is plenty formost users.
A pro tip.
Use crisps not just forprofessional calls, but also for
recording podcasts, voice memosor any audio content.
It can significantly improvethe quality of your recording.
(20:12):
So this has been our AI tastetest for today.
I hope you have found a few newflavors to try in your work and
life.
Remember, just like coffee, thebest AI tool for you is the one
that suits your taste and needs.
Next time you are facing a task, ask yourself is there an AI
(20:43):
tool that could help with this?
You might be surprised at howoften the answer is yes.
Until next time, keep exploring, keep tasting and keep brewing
success with AI.
Remember to share, like orcomment on my podcast.
That would help me a lot.
I would really appreciate it.
