Speaker 1 (00:13):
Hello, hello, hello.
This is your host, sahar.
I am your AI whisperer.
So how have you been?
Dear listeners and dearpostcasters here, welcome to the
25th and final episode ofseason one of IAI Cafe
Conversations.
I can't believe we have reachedthis incredible milestone

(00:38):
together.
I just remember my firstepisode and how nervous I was to
start it.
I wasn't sure if I can sustainit.
And one after the other, andnow I'm in the 25th.
They call that the silveranniversary.
I guess, surprise, surprise, next year, 2025, is my wedding
silver anniversary.

(00:58):
25 years, not 25 episodes.
So, uh, it has been an amazing, amazing journey and today we
are making it as memorable aspossible.
But before we do that, as usual, I want to share with you the
newest news that are happeningwith AI in general.

(01:21):
And, if you remember, in thelast couple of or three last
podcasts I had been talkingabout sb1047, which is a
california ai safety bill thatwas on governor newsom desk and
he had to september 30th toapprove it or not.
He actually vetoed it.

(01:43):
He said that he does notbelieve that, though it's well
intended, it was too broad, sohe actually vetoed it.
It's designed.
It wanted, at the surface, safety for AI companies, but it
was opposed by many powerfulplayers in Silicon Valley,

(02:08):
including, believe it or not, house Speaker Nancy Pelosi,
openai and the Chamber ofProgress, who all felt it would
actually prevent the innovation.
Governor Newsom said it focusedtoo much on the biggest AI
model, saying that smaller, specialized models may emerge

(02:30):
equally as dangerous than themodels targeted by SB1047.
The bill senator, scott weiner, said that this decision was a
setback for everyone whobelieves in oversight of massive
corporations that are makingcritical decisions affecting

(02:52):
public safety and welfare.
So here you have it it has beenshut down.
I had a feeling it was going tobe shut down because it's uh, I
see both side of it.
Maybe because I'm a libra, so Isee both sides of it.
Maybe because I'm a Libra, so Isee both sides, but I still
believe in the progression andthe growth of AI because this is
the only way to do it.
Yes, we have to be careful, wehave to look for our safety, but

(03:18):
this looked to me like a veryspecial, interest-created bill,
so we'll see what's going tohappen.
So I promise I'm going to bringyou the results and I do it.
So today it's just like we areOctober 2nd, so that happened
two days ago.
It actually happened on the30th.
On Monday In other news, the UKwas worried about the Amazon

(03:45):
Anthropic AI partnership, but ithas actually been cleared.
Amazon invested Jeff Bezosinvested $4 billion in Anthropic
, specifically in Cloud.
That is a Chad GPT equivalent.
I personally really like it alot.
So your Alexa from now on isgoing to be more or less

(04:07):
governed or operated by cloud, not its own in-house, but they
might start charging money ormembership fees for that.
What else?
The other important news isthat Chad GPT, or OpenAI, is
planning to raise the price ofthe individual GPT Chad GPT from

(04:32):
20 to 22 by the end of the year, and they are expecting by 2029
it's going to jump to $44because OpenAI wants to reduce
its losses and appeal more toits investors.
The thing, the problem is thatthere is a concern that this
rapid price increase couldtrigger a huge backlash from the

(04:55):
10 million Chad GPT customers.
Everybody thinks already that$20 per month is too much.
It reminds me of when Netflixall of a sudden increased the
prices and they lost a lot ofcustomers because of that.
In other news, if we are talkingabout Google, gmail has a new

(05:18):
development where they say itgot smarter.
It has something called SmartReply.
It will provide responsesuggestions so you don't have to
manually type a reply.
The new feature, also calledContextual Smart Replies, it
takes the entire thread of theemail into account when
providing responses.

(05:39):
I have been kind of skeptical, honestly, about Gemini and
Google.
I love Gemini, I'm sorry.
I love Chrome, don't get mewrong.
I love Google and I use it likeevery single day.
But when it comes to AI, I am alittle bit skeptical about it.
It has had a lot of biases, alot of mistakes, and they

(06:00):
release it and then they pull it.
And then they release it andthen they pull it.
So I'm taking it with a grainof salt and I'm not applying
everything right away.
I just wait to see what's goingon.
Um.
The other thing is um, this isavailable.
Whatever I told you about, which is the smart reply and the
contextual smart replies, um,are now offered only in English

(06:24):
to Google Workspace and GoogleOne AI premium users.
What else I want to share withyou today?
Let me see.
In other news, microsoft willrelaunch its Recall screenshot
tool with improved privacyfeatures, making it opt-in, only

(06:47):
, easy to uninstall if you feellike it and available on your
copilot plus computers inNovember.
Other news AI bots can now passCAPTCHA with a hundred Captures
with 100% success Wow.
The other big news for OpenAI isthat three top executives there

(07:12):
is a shaking of top leadershipin OpenAI because OpenAI has
shed its non-profit status andit becomes a for-profit company.
That's probably why they arelooking at increasing the
memberships.
So Sam Altman, the president, said that leadership changes are

(07:34):
a natural part of companies, especially companies that grow
so quickly and are so demanding.
So we don't know what's goingto happen by that.
I mean, it was great in thebeginning as a nonprofit, but
now, like I said, it's becominga for-profit.
Openai is about to get aninjection of $6.5 billion in a

(08:00):
record-setting funding round.
For better or for worse, we'llsee a lot of high-profile
resignation to slow down itsmomentum.
So we'll see AI is moving fastand we're going to see a lot of

(08:22):
stuff that we didn't think aregoing to happen.
I'll keep you posted as much asI can on that stuff.
What else I want to share withyou?
I want to share maybe a coupleof tools with you.
One of them is SQL and it getsinstant insights and visuals by

(08:42):
simply asking questions aboutyour data, a prompt that you can
use on, and I love it on.
You know how you can customizeyour chat GPT through your
settings, so this way you don'thave to repeat yourself all the
time.
What you can do also is thatyou can go for it on chat and

(09:07):
I'm speaking specifically onchat GPT either the free or the
paid version.
Of course it's better on thepaid version, but on the free
one you can enter hi, my name isso-and-so, this is the name of
my company.
Go in details about what thecompany does in fine boring
details, what it does and thenenter who your target market is,

(09:30):
again in boring details.
If you have to work thesedetails before you do that, do
that right and enter whereyou're going locally and what
are you targeting, say what arethe pinpoints of the clients
that you're going after, andthen ask ChatGPT to remember.
You Ask it, chatgpt, I want youfrom now on to remember who I

(09:53):
am.
Can you do that?
And you ask, can you do thatand see the response it's going
to give you and from now on youcan just go back to that and it
will remember.
You don't have to reenter anyof that over and over again.
I found this actually veryproductive and it saved me a lot
of time.
For me, and now, whatever I askit, it remembers exactly who I

(10:15):
am.
This is what I wanted to share.
Now I want to go to the core ofour episode today.
Again, it's the 25th episode.
I can't believe this.
So grab your favorite cup ofcoffee.
Make it a special one today, okay, and settle in.
It's a very special day for me.

(10:35):

podcast and very dear to myheart.
Together, we have demystifiedAI, making it as approachable
and enjoyable as a cup of yourfavorite coffee.

(11:41):
Remember when we compared AI tothat mysterious new coffee blend
at the cafe intriguing but abit intimidating.
Well, over these 25 episodes,we have tasted and tested,
explored and explained bringingAI into the realm of everyday

(12:01):
conversation.
We have discussed how AI istransforming industries from
healthcare to entertainment, andhow it's creeping into our
daily lives in the form of smartassistance, personalized
recommendations and a lot more.
And we have done it all withoutgetting too technical, focusing

(12:23):
instead on practicalapplications and insights.
As I said from the beginning,I'm not a techie and I promised
you it's not going to betechnical jargon in my podcast.
So how are we making AI workfor us?
Today's episode is not just atrip down memory lane.

(12:44):
I want to leave you withsomething tangible, practical
ways you can harness the powerof AI to improve your business
or personal life.
One AI in personal life.
Let's start with how AI canmake your personal life smoother
and more enjoyable.
First one you can use it as asmart personal assistance.

(13:09):
Devices like Alexa or GoogleHome can help manage your
schedule, set reminders and evencontrol home appliances with
some voice and simple voicecommands.
Two personalized contentStreaming services use AI to
recommend movies, shows or musicyou might like, saving you time

(13:35):
and introducing you to newfavorites.
Three health and wellness appsAI-powered apps can track your
fitness, suggest workouts oreven provide meditation sessions
tailored to your needs.
Now let's talk about AI inbusiness.
Let's talk about leveraging AIto give you your business a

(13:58):
boost.
1.
Customer Service Chatbots thesecan handle basic customer
inquiries 24x7, improvingcustomer satisfaction and
freeing up your time.

send personalized email, increasing engagement and sales.

(14:23):
Three inventory management AIsystems can predict stock needs
based on past trends, preventingoverstocking or stock outs.
Now I want to share with youreal-life success stories.
To illustrate, here are somestories of individuals who

(14:44):
embraced AI without being techexperts, and I'm proud to say
they are some of my clients.
Sophia's online boutique.
Sophia integrated an AI chatbotinto her website.
It answered customer questions, guided them through the
purchase process and evensuggested products.

(15:05):
Her sales increased by 30% injust three few months.
Mark Mark's fitness journey.
Mark used an AI-driven fitnessapp that adjusted his workout
plans based on his progress andfeedback.
He achieved his health goalsfaster and with more enjoyment

(15:29):
than he ever thought possible.
Simple steps to get started withAI.
You might be thinking thissounds great, but where do I
start?
I'm not a techie.
Hey, remember, I'm not a techieeither.
So here is a simple roadmap, one step one identify areas for

(16:02):
improvement.
Look at your daily routines orbusiness processes.
Is there a task that isrepetitive or time consuming?
That's a good place to consideran AI solution.
Step two research user-friendlyAI tools.
There are plenty of AI poweredtools designed for non-techies.
For personal use, apps likeTodoist or Todoist T-O-D-O-I-S-T

(16:26):
use AI to prioritize your tasks.
Grammarly or Quillbolt helpsimprove your writing in real
time.
For business use, platformslike Hootsuite employ AI to
optimize social media posts.
Quickbooks uses AI for smarteraccounting.

(16:50):
And on a personal level, you canopen your camera, go through
your pantry and your fridge andask AI to put a dinner menu for
you based on what you haveavailable, and then you can ask
it to give you individualrecipes, step by step.

(17:10):
This is how beautiful it is.
You can also ask it to give youa regimen or a diet for three
weeks that is keto or dirty ketoor low carb, or how can you go
into ketosis, and it can give itto you and you can ask it for
recipes as well.

(17:32):
You can also ask it.
I have a busy schedule, but Ineed to work out 20 minutes to
get the best results in the nexttwo months.
I want to lose so many poundsin the next 60 days.
I have 20 minutes three times aweek.
I am that tall.
I weigh that much.

(17:53):
This is how old I am female ormale.
How can I achieve it?
Step by step.
The next thing that we need tolook for, after identifying
areas of improvement andresearch, user-friendly AI tools
.
Step three is start small.
Begin with one tool orapplication.

(18:14):
Get comfortable with it beforeexpanding to others.
This prevents overwhelm andallows you to see tangible
benefits quickly.
Step four engage withcommunities.
Join forums or groups wherepeople share their experiences
with AI tools.
Websites like Reddit orLinkedIn groups can be valuable

(18:36):
resources.
Looking forward to the futureby the way, I'm not an affiliate
with any of that.
So to make it clear, world tothe future by the way, I'm not
an affiliate with any of that.
So to make it clear, as westand at the cusp of this new
era, remember that AI is notabout replacing humans, but

(18:59):
enhancing our capabilities.
It's like having that perfectcoffee companion who knows just
how you like your brew andanticipates your needs.
Exciting announcement coming up.

yourself, who will share theirunique perspectives on AI in
various fields.
