Can you champion AI and protect your people? What does responsible AI leadership look like? How do executives lead AI adoption with integrity? What is honest AI advocacy for CEOs? How do you be pro-AI and pro-human?
This is the series finale of The Human Cost of AI. And it's my positioning statement. My manifesto. My line in the sand.
Because after 4 episodes on entry-level extinction, succession crises, and difficult conversations, some people are going to say: "So you're anti-AI?"
And I want to be crystal clear: No. I'm not anti-AI. I'm an AI advocate.
I use AI every day. I teach executives how to adopt it strategically. I believe in its power to amplify human capability and transform organizations.
But I walk into AI with open eyes.
And "open eyes" means I'm not going to pretend the transformation is painless. I'm not going to act like description expansion for senior roles doesn't mean description elimination for entry roles. I'm not going to ignore that youth unemployment is 2.5X higher than overall unemployment because AI eliminated the jobs that taught people how to work.
In this episode, I break down the 3 executive stances on AI transformation:
- The Ostrich (denial)
- The Dictator (control)
- The Open-Eyes Advocate (integrity)
And I show you why being pro-AI and pro-human at the same time isn't just possible—it's the only stance that works.
What You'll Learn:
- The difference between AI advocacy & AI naivety
- Why "just adapt" isn't a leadership strategy
- The Honest Advocacy Model
- How to position yourself as the leader who walks in with open eyes
- Why integrity beats optimism in transformation leadership
Key Insight:
"You can be pro-AI and pro-human at the same time. Those aren't contradictory positions. But being pro-human means looking at the cost of transformation and asking: What's my responsibility here?"
This is for executives who want to champion AI without abandoning their people.
