Speaker 1 (00:06):
I hope you're having a great Wednesday.
Yeah, looking forward totoday's conversation.
Everyone, if you're here tolearn more about AI, what
leading teams are doing aroundAI, you're at the right place.
We're going to spend the next20 minutes talking about trends
in generative AI, what's working, what's not working, etc.
And we'll talk a little bitabout what's in the news.

(00:27):
What are some new things thatyou need to know about when it
comes to AI?
Because there certainly are alot of like really interesting,
cool things.
All right, so let's jump intoit, but let's talk about in the
news.
I'm very curious here how manyof you have tried Claude, which
is, um, which is uh, uh,anthropic, which is, I guess,

(00:53):
like you know, it's another kindof competitor.
Claude 3.5 Sonnet is nowavailable.
Um, many um have shown it tooutperform ChatGP 4.0.
Um, so if you haven't taken alook at it, you know what I
found with Claude is like, likeyou know, it's got a little bit
more personality maybe, whichyou know, maybe less um, like
complexity, things, uh, but youknow, from our team, you know

(01:14):
humor and understanding,handling workflows and
interpreting charts and graphs.
It's pretty strong.
Uh, 4.0 or 4.0.
Just curious, like, like, howmany, how many of you are paying
for a premium, either chat GPTor chat GPT or cloud.

(01:36):
You know, go check it outthough.
It's worth.
You know, curious there.
Just let me know and if youguys want, you know, go ahead
and try.
If you all haven't tried it yetanother kind of in the news I
would go check out some of thenew features on the ChatGPT app,
if you haven't.
One of the things that I reallylike is it now has the ability
to do voice, and so for me,emmanuel pays for ChatGPT.

(01:58):
Great, you know, go mess aroundwith the headphone icon on the
chat gpt.
Um, for most people, I meanit's I've had it for a while.
Um, you might not have it ahundred percent, but I think
it's pretty cool.
I've been messing with it likehey, like um.
You know I got a meeting comingup with so and so, um, you know

(02:18):
, if I want to use one of ourlike custom gpts etc.
There's a lot of really coolyou know options there.
So go check it out Again.
It's right there in the app aspart of it the little headphones
, and you can go have some funwith that as well.
Other things in the news ohyeah, this is really awesome.

(02:39):
If you are somebody who'salready signed up for the custom
GPTs before, awesome.
Make sure you get the new linksas a part of it.
So go check those out.
Brian on the team we've doneBrian and I has spent a
painstaking amount of time torevamp the custom GPTs.
If you are not using custom GPTs, they are the future of

(03:00):
generative AI and you know.
Right now you've got chat, andchat requires you to know how to
prompt.
When you use custom GPTs, youdon't need to know how to prompt
.
We've already written all thecustom instructions on the
backend.
So if you're trying to bookmore meetings, a cool one Brian
put together was the annualreport summarizer.
So imagine it just prompts youwith all the things on the

(03:22):
backend and knows what asalesperson is going to want to
see on the backend.
So go check out the custom GPT.
You get a seven day free trialtoo.
So if, for some reason, youdon't love it, you know we'll
give you your money back, butit's definitely one of the
coolest things that we'velaunched.
We've got.
Book a meeting with.
Help me book a meeting withskill development role-playing

(03:43):
meeting analyzer.
You know I've put up ourmeeting summarizer, up against
Gong.
I think that our custom GBT isbetter in terms of like, just
pulling out, like what's theimportant parts of the meeting,
like writing a better follow-upemail, all that stuff.
So go check that out.
I'm trying to think what someof the other ones are.

(04:03):
Let me just go take a quickpeek Because we've, like I said,
we've really done a good job oflike revamping these the book,
a meeting with one discovery, meeting prep that's another
really popular one.
People love that.
But again, like what thesecustom GPTs allow you to do
social media, like if you'resomebody who's trying to post
and to become an industry expert, linkedin, cold call, role

(04:23):
playing so go take a look atthat.
Sign up, it is a no-brainer.
If you want to stop prompting,we've got a new onboarding
process too that you canbasically train it on kind of
your company, et cetera, so thenyou don't have to constantly
tell it who you are, et cetera.
So go check it out, Sign up.
A lot of cool stuff going downthere.
So that's kind of the in thenews stuff.

(04:45):
Check out what Claude's doing.
Go check out some of the app,the ChatGPT app stuff, which I
also think is pretty awesome asa part of it.
So and then check out our newcustom GPTs.
So, knowledge documents.
So main topic for today isknowledge documents.
So think of custom instructionsFor those of you.
A lot of you are already payingfor ChatGPT Competitive deal

(05:08):
winner that's one by Brian, andI have been really beaten up.
You know how many times are youin a competitive deal where
there's a CFO and you're likehow are we better than this
competition?
Or how are we better Likecompetitive deal winner will
literally like do all the workfor you.
How many of you who are payingfor it are using custom
instructions?
If you're like Jake, what arecustom instructions?
Custom instructions are theability to tell either all of

(05:32):
your chat GPT chats or specificcustom GPTs to always remember
certain information.
So that's like the gist of it,of what it does, and so think
about these like knowledgedocuments, okay, as the
opportunity for you to, insteadof having to tell chat GPT or

(05:54):
even doing the custominstructions or maybe you have
different use cases instead ofhaving to do it over and over
and over again, imagine justbeing able to upload a document
or add it to one of your customGPTs and it always remembers
like very specific information,right.
So for us, we do a lot of thison the back end with the custom
instructions for the custom GPTsas well too.

(06:17):
So, again, like, the key is,with knowledge documents, you
don't have to start over everytime, and I think for a lot of
people, like how many of you, isit really annoying where you
feel like God, I've got to tellit the exact same thing over and
over and over again, right, whether it's your value props,
your products, your services,you know.
That to me is like, I think, like you know, it's already

(06:39):
pretty awesome that you can justdrop a link to your product
page, but imagine not having todo that as well.
Imagine not having to do thatas well.
So there's one, I mean thisone's pretty cool.
It's like, basically, it's likea basic, like a link tree, you
know, kind of example, and soimagine what I can do is this is
for scaled right, so this islike all the important pages
that I would want it to go andlook at.
So understand, whenever yougive it a bunch of links,

(07:04):
different websites will allowyou to crawl things differently,
but this is a really good oneof like, if I wanted, if I
wanted chat dbt to know, likethe products that we sell at
scale.
This is the example of like alink tree example, and so feel
free.
But again, what it doesn'tnecessarily do is get to the
nuances, right, it's just goingto read the pages, say great,

(07:25):
and then you know, I guess, do agood, you know, do a decent job
of like pulling together, youknow what it can find for that.
Then the next version of thatis basically a more detailed
document.
Let me I'm going to pull upthis example real quick, where
what you do is you start totypically and this is the
example of it basically start topull out the relevant
information from those pages andagain, this is all in just one

(07:48):
document, fyi.
So this is, you know, for usthis is a more general knowledge
document that we use for a lotof our own custom GPTs
internally.
So if we want to be able to,you know, quickly get it up to
speed on a buyer persona etc.
And whenever you buy the customGPTs, we actually help you to

(08:09):
create a knowledge document as apart of this.
So, yeah, that's a prettyimportant, important part of
this.
So just think knowledgedocuments.
Why I bring them up is anytimeif you find yourself doing
repetitive tasks.
If you find yourself, you know, always looking at, like you
know telling it the same thingover and over again, knowledge

(08:31):
documents can really, you know, really help you out.
So the other side of knowledgedocuments is memory, right, and
I don't know how many of youstarted to see chat GPT say,
like, oh, adding to memory.
So memory is kind of chat gpt'sversion of like creating
knowledge documents on the fly.

(08:52):
The thing that I found is thatit it doesn't necessarily
remember everything you chat.
You can teach it to remembersomething like hey, like by
saying you know, if you don't, Iwould, I would suggest creating
a knowledge document.
But you could also like do iton the fly, hey, remember that I
have celiac disease, forexample, right, so whenever I
ask for restaurantrecommendations or something,

(09:12):
make sure they've got optionsfor me, right?
That's something that I couldtell it.
And then the other piece isjust to understand what it has
committed, because the otherthing I'll notice is it will
like store random things and I'mlike no, no, no, I don't want
you to remember that for everychat that was specific to this
chat.
That would be.
My advice is with memory inparticular.
It doesn't work in custom GPTs,which is kind of a pain in the

(09:35):
butt, which is where theknowledge documents can come in.
It doesn't replace knowledgedocuments.
It's like a, it's like alightweight version of it, right
?
So just think of ChatGPT'smemory function as a lightweight
, you know, version of that, andall right.
Last but certainly not least, isChatGPT.
I mean, I don't know how manyof you know this or not.

(09:56):
Chatgpt can't read LinkedInprofiles.
It's really fucking annoying.
Like I really wish that.
Like it's so funny.
Maybe I've told this story toyou guys before, but I had the
head of I won't mention thegroup that she's the head of
sales at.
This is maybe eight or ninemonths ago.

(10:17):
She's like Jake, I'm doing someof your prompts and I can't.
It's not working, and thisperson may or may not work at
LinkedIn.
And I was like, yeah, it'sbecause LinkedIn blocks the
profile.
She's like, oh, he's like, yeah, the company does it.
So what we can do is this andwe're going to share this kind
of prompt of the week with youall right now is there's some
LinkedIn prompts that you canuse, which is step one is to
know quickly how to download aPDF from LinkedIn.

(10:38):
It's really really simple.
All you have to do I don't knowif how many of you know, I mean
, I'm sure you've done thisbefore you just go to somebody's
LinkedIn profile in the topright corner of your Google
Chrome.
But you just go to the topright corner, you hit print,
print, save as PDF and thenthat's what you do.
It's like prettystraightforward.
But these, like these fiveprompts for the LinkedIn PDF, is

(11:02):
something.
Really.
It can really help you to, likeyou know, you don't have to use
all the prompts at once, but, like hey, like you know, you
want to think, like what I wantto do with someone's LinkedIn
profiles?
I want to try to get tounderstand, like you know, what
are the things they're talkingabout, if they have posts, what
are some things they've beenposting about, and I can
download all of that.
You know I can download allthat into a PDF and then upload

(11:23):
it and go from there.
So go, check out these kind ofprompts around.
Like you know, researchingpeople's LinkedIn pages If
you're somebody who wants to,you know, get better up to speed
on, you know, how to leveragepeople's LinkedIn profiles and
use AI.
Those prompts are really goodexamples of how to do it, you
know again.
So I want you to think aboutwhen it comes to why you should

(11:44):
be attending for this to yourcoworkers.
Staying on top of this is thefuture of being productive in
sales, and so if you're somebodywho wants to continue to get
better, you have to stay on topof these trends and hopefully,
what you're seeing in thisseries is that we're doing
everything that we can to keepyou all there and to give you
the best insights, to give youwhat we see, what's working,
what's not working in the marketas well, too.

(12:06):
So that's what I got for youthis week Make sure to check out
, if you again, if you have notsigned up for our custom GPTs,
go check them out Honestly.
Like.
They are really good, like, andthe cool part is now you
actually don't need to pay forLinkedIn or for a chat GPT
premium to use them.
You can actually use them inthe free version, so you're just

(12:26):
paying for the custom GPTs.
Also, I'll do just a quick plug.
If your company already usessomething, so maybe you already
use Microsoft Copilot and youwant to take some of these best
practices, but you don't want touse ChatGPT, please DM me.
We've got some opportunitiesfor that as well too.
So if you're not a big ChatGPTfan, I don't know why you
wouldn't be, but there's still alot of companies that are very

(12:48):
nervous about ChatGPTunnecessarily but I hope that
helps a lot of you out there.
Go take a look at what we'redoing.
Like I said for today, thinkknowledge document, knowledge
document.
If you find yourself doingthings repetitive over and over
and over again, there's the linktree style and then there's the
like, copy and paste, moredetailed style.
So go check those out.
Think about creating knowledgedocuments.

(13:09):
Mess around with memory.
Go check out the app and that'swhat I've got.
That's my latest on AI.
Hopefully this little quickhitter, 20 minutes as your kind
of daily or weekly dose of AIinsights.
Thanks for joining us everyone.
Make sure if you haven't signedup for the newsletter uh, free
resource goes a little bit likenerdier on some of the topics to
where, if you're somebody whowants to kind of dive into more

(13:30):
of like the latest and greatest, the newsletter is great for
that.
A couple other links to checkout in the show notes as well
too, just some differentworkshops and things that we
have available.
So make sure, go check thoseout.
