Welcome to a special episode of Ain’t That a Pitch! On the podcast today we invite our very dear friend, David Blake JR. (AKA Blake) to be our first guest pitcher. Blake takes us down some hilarious and thought provoking paths as he pitches a concept centered around one of his favorite hobbies. And his mom.
First up, Bryce has an ice breaker all lined up, but a random story leads to an interesting pondering of our favorite tv shows which at first we loved, but, as we all inevitably grow, we’ve come to hate. Or, we at least think it’s interesting,
Next up, we open up the dossier on Blake as he shares a board game idea he has based on the world of entertainment, touring and the lifestyles of bands from all genres of music. Blake is in good company, too, as 4/5ths of ATAP are avid gamers, while 1/5th of ATAP’s last name is Solomon. Despite that fact Brownie finds out he’s actually not Blake’s best friend, we all end up having a fun-filled discussion of how this idea could be developed into a kick-ass game, only to realize that a roll of the dice would probably only end in this never happening.
Wait a second! What’s this? Blake has one more pitch?! What could it be? Tune in to find out! We promise it’s not THAT weird. I mean hey, if MTV did it, why can’t Blake?
Wrapping it all up: UPDATES! We all share that the only thing we’ve been up to, like Elvis, is a whole lot of T.C.B.! Don’t know what T.C.B. means? Well, can you google it for us and let us know, please? We didn’t feel like Taking Care of that kind of Business.
All that, spot on impersonations of Lizette’s car noises and more on today’s exciting episode of Ain’t That a Pitch! Enjoy!
