- D1 Boys: Colony, West Anchorage, and Juneau-Douglas are leading the charge.
- D1 Girls: South Anchorage, Dimond, and Wasilla are dominating the pitch.
- D2 Boys: Ketchikan, Soldotna, and Palmer have their sights set on state glory.
- D2 Girls: Kenai Central, Soldotna, and Palmer are proving they’re a force to be reckoned with.
Softball Spotlight
- D1 Cook Inlet: Bettye Davis East and Chugiak are slugging their way to the top.
- D1 Railbelt: Juneau-Douglas and Colony are making noise.
- D2: Sitka’s making a statement with some big wins, and Kodiak and Soldotna are right there in the mix!
Baseball Breakdown South Anchorage just snapped Service’s unbeaten streak, making things interesting in the standings. Keep your eye on Service, South, Wasilla, and Sitka – all looking like state contenders!
ASAA Board Meeting Bombshells Major postseason shakeups!
- Hockey: RPI rankings will now determine state berths.
- Baseball: Palmer, North Pole, and Soldotna are moving up to D1, while D2 State Baseball shrinks from 8 teams to 4.
- And that’s not all—more changes are on the horizon for Alaska high school sports!
