What is going on?
Everyone I'm Shanique.
You are now listening to the novisuals podcast you're on edited
take on life.
I am so excited to be recordingthis knife episode.
I'm sorry.
And I apologize.
Y'all for quietly disappearing.
I took some time off in themonth of September to really
reset and rest.
(00:30):
There were some major timelinejumps that I made last month
that I'm really proud of myselffor doing.
Um, it took a lot of steppingout of fear and stepping into
guidance that had been receivingand doing what I really felt
like I needed to do to live thelife I want to live.
So for myself personally, I liketo get quiet and really focus my
(00:50):
energy when change is coming inand transforming things in my
life.
So that is what September lookedlike for me, but I am really
grateful for those that stilltuned into an old visual as
podcast.
I was getting reports of peoplelistening to certain episodes,
which really made me happy andalso something that I was not
expecting.
But thank you to those who didcheck in on me that was not
(01:13):
expected at all, but all goodthings were happening.
And I'm really, really excitedto be getting back into the
swing of things with putting outnew episodes.
I have a lot of people that I'mso excited to have on the
podcast, sharing their stories.
They're doing amazing things forthe collective that I think will
really resonate with thecommunity here.
(01:35):
And another pin that I wanted todrop is that if y'all know
anyone that would like to sharetheir story on the no visuals

And I will do my absolute bestto put those puzzle pieces
together.

If you want more information onwhen new episodes are coming
out, I promise not to quietlydisappear again, but that's just
another social channel to beaware of when new episodes come
out getting into episode nine, Ithought it would be so, so
appropriate to address how weare finishing this year off
strong.
(02:37):
We are in October, we are in thelast leg of this race.
The most turbulent year that2020 has been has felt like a
lot at times, many timesactually like it felt like a lot
of shedding of old timelines formyself and for people around me,
it looked like there was a lotof relearning and healing
happening.
(02:57):
So many things happening with2020.
And there have been many timeswhere I felt extremely exhausted
by all, all that is 2020.
And I know that is the case fora lot of other people is just so
much going on.
We are just so stimulated by thenews and by world events, by
things happening, our family, that I feel like it would be
fitting to, you know, bring itin, have a group huddle, give
(03:18):
each other a pep talk right nowand focus on forward-looking
actions for the rest of thisyear and starting strong in
2021, God willing.
So I thought it was appropriateto talk about this today because
at the end of the year, I thinkit's really easy to feel jaded
by everything that has, has, orhas not happened.
(03:39):
You know, in January we have theNamor of a brand new year.
It's a star of a brand newtraditional calendar year.
It feels like there are newpossibility is on the horizon.
New goals are within our reach.
You just calling down all theseopportunities and praying that
they'll manifest themselves inyour life.
And as the year continues, youknow, you kinda stick with it.
(04:02):
You gave him a mentum, but thereare some goals that you lose
sight of.
And especially the, this year, Ifeel like during the year our
routines were so up routed andit taught me to be okay with
things, not always goingaccording to a structured plan
in it a lot allowed me to reallyembrace quickly pivoting and
readjusting.
My focus that being said thisyear also taught me to have
(04:24):
grace with myself and my ownpersonal timing.
And I can not stress the peaceyou that comes from focusing on
your own personal timing.
And that only as the only thingthat we can control, right, we
can only control what's going onwith itself.
And a lot of the outsidepressure and comparison that we
(04:44):
do to ourselves are really thethieves are joy and don't really
have a place in our purview.
So just really focusing onmyself has really been a theme
for me this year.
And I think the fourth quarterof the year, October, November,
December is really, really acrucial time to balance
ourselves and assess what isimportant to us on an individual
level and a collective level.
(05:06):
Going on a little side tangentright now during the summer,
I've spent a lot of money onbuying books.
I'm not even going to say howmuch, but like the libraries
weren't open.
So I just went crazy and boughta lot of books.
And there was one that I wasreading, it's called ask.
And it is given, I asked her andJerry Hicks and it talks about
purpose being something that'scollective.
And that really resonated withme because a lot of the times
(05:29):
when I used to speak aboutpurpose prior to reading that
book, it was always like, whatis my purpose?
What am I supposed to be doing?
Everything was, I am me centeredand looking at purpose and
passion and life work from acollective standpoint, it's
like, God, put me on the earthfor specific reasons.
So what is the collectivepurpose and what is my part in
(05:49):
that?
So side tangent done, but I justwanted to share that, but in
doing an assessment over thelast couple of weeks, getting
onto goal setting, I realized acouple things that are when it
comes to setting goals andenvisioning where I want life to
take me and in doing so, I feellike the most, most, most
important thing yeah.
Is how you caring for yourself.
(06:11):
Self care is somewhatunderstated.
In my opinion, I think we negatethe care that we give to
ourselves.
We are so focused on outwardthings that, you know, sometimes
our personal care takes a backseat, see, and how you rest and
how you reset.
Definitely plays a part in howyou show up and how you do the
(06:32):
absolute best that you can inwhatever it is that you're
doing, our bodies and our mindsneed to rest and need to
decompress.
And, you know, I have completelyremoved myself from the idea of
grind, culture, of being aworkaholic of just really
working myself to the point ofexhaust.
These are programs that weregiven to me that I did not
(06:53):
choose.
So going forward, I am operatingwith ease in mind.
And you know, a lot of thelanguage that we use in goal
setting is like, if you workhard, this is what you'll get.
And I, I just really don'tbelieve that to be true anymore.
I think that when you work inalignment with what you're
supposed to be doing, thingsmove and things happen.
So that is one of the mostcritical ideas around goal
(07:15):
setting that I have personallychanged in has been so helpful
to me in 2020.
Another idea I've beencontemplating is the comfort,
our minds feel with security.
And I see a lot of peopletalking about new normal, new
normal, and the idea of normalin almost handicaps us a little
bit because when things don'tappear to be normal, our nervous
(07:38):
systems are thrown on a whack.
And we spend the time toregulate our nervous system to
adjust to this quote, unquote, new normal.
So I think the turbulence ofthis year going through it, I
didn't appreciate it, but Ithink it called out a lot of
blind spots of complacency inthe way I was approaching
situation.
So that is another paradigm ingoal setting that has shifted
(08:01):
for me and finishing this yearand for the foreseeable future,
I'm challenging myself to thinkbigger.
And this week I stumbled upon areally good tweet that said the
creator created energy, stopbelieving this nonsense, that
energy can neither be creatednor destroyed it is alive.
Get your magic up.
When I read that, I was actuallykind of shocked.
So I had to read it back acouple of times and really sit
(08:23):
with it and meditate on it, butit made so much sense and
resonated with me so much, likethinking energy can be created
and energy can be destroyed.
So thinking about that andknowing that I can destroy
energy, how am I destroying?
What is holding me back fromachieving what I want?
Yeah.
It made me think of how is whatI'm doing.
(08:45):
Catalyzing collectiveprogression, and that's the
creation piece.
What am I creating right nowthat is catalyzing collective
progression.
Am I married to outcomes?
Meaning am married to some sortof outcome that I expect when I
achieve a certain thing.
Because if you get married tocertain ideas, then it's a lot
harder for you to destroy thosecertain ideas.
(09:06):
Once you, once you are in theswing of things, it also made me
think, am I consciouslydestroying programs?
I no longer want?
In my reality, a program that Iactively seek to destroy is that
I am separate from my goals andreally sitting and thinking
about this.
Anything that I want toexperience, I envision myself
already there.
(09:28):
Um, I talked about a timelinejump that happened for me this
month.
I was really praying on it.
I was fasting on it and I was avisioning myself already in the
situation.
So there's a universal lawcalled the law of divine
oneness.
And it States that we are allconnected through creation.
So every single atom inside ofyou is connected in some way,
(09:49):
shape or form to the rest ofcreation you move through.
So knowing that I'm already onewith what I want to get, why am
I not acting with thatpermission in mind?
Why am I not moving?
Like I already have it?
Why is there a doubt?
Why is there fear?
Why is there hesitation?
Another idea that I sat withwhen I read that tweet of
creating energy and destroyingenergy is looking at what I need
(10:12):
to destroy in order to achievewhat I want.
Do I need to destroy a certainhabit in order to get my time
back?
Is there something on your heartthat you want to start?
Is there a song or a story thatyou need to sing?
Are there boundaries that youneed to set in order for
yourself to do what you want?
I think it's so important tobecome an absolute master at not
(10:33):
giving people access to yourenergy.
And this is a really crazy cheatcode and I can attest to this
limiting access to your energyis so, so important because you
have to set that boundary of, Iam not going to do what I don't
need to do and what I don't wantto do, especially if it's
leeching on my energy and notgiving anything back, I don't
(10:53):
need to be somewhere I don'twant to be.
And I don't need to transmute myenergy to match an energy that
doesn't align with mine.
That is all energy that could beused to get you to where God
needs you to go.
So honor your energy and use itwisely.
And other thing that you candestroy, like I mentioned
earlier, are distractions.
And are you respecting your owntime?
(11:14):
Because I think time is such aprecious gift that we don't
necessarily always look at itthat way, but how are we
creating with the time that weare giving and going forward?
These are the questions that Ibelieve will help me to achieve
anything that I want to in life, knowing that I have the power to
create and destroy differentthings in life should make
(11:37):
impossible goals, seem doableand push every paradigm that we
know to be true.
It's a really good way to lookat okay.
Knowing where I want to get, howdo I reverse engineer the steps
I need to take to get to where Iwant to go?
Another crazy premonition that Ihad for year is just thinking
about being in community withpeople that inspire you and have
(11:58):
achieved what you want toachieve.
And I always get into thesemoods where I really sit and
like get so thankful andemotional about my community and
the people that I know becauseevery single person I know is a
boss in their own way is soauthentic to themselves.
I'm always blown away and fallin love with these people's
actions and Zell for life.
(12:18):
And this backs us into anotheruniversal law that I love and
resonate with.
And the law of inspired action.
The law of inspired action istaking action.
So you can bring what you wantinto fruition being around this
sort of community.
Really just really just removedany type of mystery around how
to get to where you want to get.
(12:39):
You're able to create a roadmapby borrowing best practices, but
you can also leave space forcocreation for infinite
potential of what you want to dofor new opportunities to be
created.
That inspires you to act beingaround people who are doing
amazing things.
It inspires you.
It doesn't create lack.
It creates an environment ofabundance environment.
(13:02):
That's supportive to cheeringeach other on.
And the last idea I want toshare is how we are disciplined
in making life happen.
And the older I get, the more Isee how things work in this
reality game that we're allplaying.
The trick I have seen that worksis that you have to move your
feet and you have to make thingsshake for yourself.
(13:22):
You know, like it says in theBible, like faith without works
is dead.
And I think that's so true.
And we have to really evaluateour subconscious patterns that
we repeat every single day.
And these patterns either serveus, or they hold us back and
becoming aware of your patterns, whether it was based on how you
were raised or based on justhabits you formed over the years
(13:47):
and really taking time toconsciously break them down and
to call them out.
And also having accountabilitypartners who will do that for
you too, is a way that we canachieve our goals.
Because if we know what's goingon in our subconscious, we can
consciously work to break thosethings down and guys human
beings.
We're really tough on ourselvesand how we speak to ourselves in
(14:10):
our mind and how we speak of ourgoals and how we speak of what
we want to achieve.
That is a part of the processthat often gets overlooked
things.
Sometimes as people, we can bereally hard and critical of
ourselves.
So talking to God and remindingyourself of the positivity that
exist is a crazy way programs.
What's going on in thesubconscious.
(14:31):
You want to eliminate harmfulcommunication and ideas about
ourselves and what we can andcannot do.
And something that has beenreally beneficial to me is
starting like an affirmationjournal.
And really, I think thataffirmations are magic because
word medicine really can alterhow you look and feel about a
day.
Like if I'm having a difficultday and I just started saying,
(14:53):
you know what?
Life is good.
You start to believe it.
You start to be grateful for thelife that you do have and
realize, okay, in this certainsituation, it might not look
like exactly what I wanted tolook like.
But at the end of the day, lifeis good and life is only getting
better.
So being deliberate with yourthoughts and how you speak to
yourself is what can important.
Staying in high vibration andrunning, not walking.
(15:15):
When you start to get aroundpeople who have low vibrational
energy, don't let anyone's lowvibration mess up your day,
remind yourself of who you are,of what you have achieved and
continuously build on thatmomentum.
And I really think that fromspeaking personally, it's very
easy to keep going.
Once you get started, that's allI have on this episode.
(15:37):
I hope the rest of this year isfruitful for everyone listening.
I hope that you achieve yourgenes and all your goals.
I hope that this messageresonates with someone and
please share with the community, how you hack energy to really
reach your goals.
