El acné, un problema común en la adolescencia, se ha vuelto también una fuente de ansiedad, baja autoestima y autoexigencia en un entorno donde la imagen se edita, se idealiza y se compara constantemente. Al mismo tiempo, los trastornos de salud mental como la depresión, la dismorfia corporal y la ansiedad social encuentran terreno fértil en plataformas que refuerzan estereotipos de belleza inalcanzables.
Desde la medicina, se propone un enfoque integral: tratar la piel con empatía y ciencia, y acompañar a los adolescentes en el fortalecimiento de su salud mental, promoviendo un uso más consciente de lo digital.
