Project Crystal Knight and the Roswell Crash: A Full Breakdown

In this episode, Colonel Gene P. Abel delves into the fascinating connection between the 1947 Roswell crash and Project Crystal Knight, an extraordinary exchange program between Earth and an alien species known as the Evans. Drawing on sources like a classified 1981 briefing to President Reagan, a YouTube transcript, and the book Secret Journey to Planet Serpo by Glenn Kassen, Colonel Gene unpacks the details of this alleged interplanetary mission.

The Roswell Crash and Even One

The story begins with the 1947 Roswell crash, where one of the Gray aliens, later named Even One, survived and lived with a nurse. Even One communicated with Earth authorities and proposed an exchange program between Earthlings and the Evans, setting the stage for Project Crystal Knight. The proposal was approved in 1962 by President Kennedy and later reaffirmed by President Johnson, leading to the program's initiation in 1965.

The Exchange Program: Project Crystal Knight

Project Crystal Knight involved 12 U.S. military members traveling to Planet Serpo, located 39 light-years from Earth:

  • Team Composition: The participants were assigned three-digit numbers for anonymity, and the mission was overseen by MJ-12 and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).
  • Journey Details: The 10-month journey utilized wormholes as a mode of transport, with Even Two, another Gray, serving as the liaison. Even Two spoke English, facilitating communication.
  • Initial Skepticism: Many were skeptical when details about the program were first shared via emails starting in November 2005. However, subsequent disclosures through August 2006 and later from 2007 to 2011 added credibility to the story.

Life on Planet Serpo

The team spent 13 years on Planet Serpo, observing its unique environment and culture:

  • Planet Characteristics: Serpo had two suns, resulting in near-perpetual daylight. The Evans were friendly but had no vegetation or children. Their society used color-coded uniforms to denote military roles, and they wore belts with attached boxes.
  • Communication Challenges: Despite Even Two’s assistance, language barriers persisted, complicating interactions with the Evans.
  • Strange Observations: The team noted a lack of intelligent life on Serpo, though the Evans retained samples of deceased intelligent beings from other planets.

Incidents During the Mission

The mission was not without its challenges and losses:

  • Team Member Death: Participant number 308 died during the mission, and Evans retained his body for health studies. Three team members visited the site where his body was kept, finding it housed in a building containing glass jars with strange animals.
  • Extended Mission: Initially planned for 10 years, the mission was extended to 13 years. The team returned to Earth on August 17, 1978.
  • Casualties and Choices: Three members died during the mission, two chose to stay on Serpo, and seven returned to Earth.

The Aftermath

The team members shared their experiences upon their return, though much of the information remained classified. The story of Project Crystal Knight became a cornerstone of UFO lore, and its authenticity is still debated.

Colonel Gene concludes by encouraging listeners to delve deeper into this remarkable story by reading Glenn Kassen’s Secret Journey to Planet Serpo and watching the Reagan briefing on YouTube. He also invites those with UFO experiences to share their stories with the podcast.
