Colonel Gene emphasizes that the interest in extraterrestrials did not fade after Roswell due to the numerous sightings in the United States and other countries. He mentions that scientists and organizations have increased their efforts to investigate UFO sightings, especially those over military facilities with nuclear weapons or energy sites. Project Blue Book and Its Findings Colonel Gene explains the establishment of Project Blue Book in March 1951 by General Nathan Twining, which was headed by Captain Edward Ruppelt. The project aimed to determine if UFOs posed a threat and to analyze UFO-related data. The project lasted until the end of 1969, collecting about 12,600 UFO reports, and concluded that most reports were misrepresentations of natural phenomena or conventional aircraft sightings. Many people believe that the real purpose of Project Blue Book was to discredit UFO sightings rather than to learn about them. In August 1951, Carl Hart Jr., a student in Lubbock, Texas, took photographs of an unidentified flying object, which the Air Force claimed were reflections from streetlights and birds. Notable UFO Sightings and Claims Colonel Gene recounts the story of Norma Gardner, an airman at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, who cataloged over 1,000 items from alien sites and claimed to have seen a four-foot alien and a tank preserved in a solution. He mentions the incident in Little M, Texas, on November 2, 1957, where hundreds of people claimed to see alien spacecraft, and the sheriff informed the US Air Force, which later claimed it was due to a storm. On December 9, 1965, the FAA tracked unidentified objects, and a crash was reported in the woods at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a saucer-shaped aircraft found by locals. John Murphy of radio station WJJB reported the crash, but the military arrived, removed the craft, and later claimed it was a meteor, despite numerous witnesses. Investigations and Cover-ups Colonel Gene details how John Murphy interviewed witnesses and planned to present his findings on his radio show, but was convinced not to by several men who took his notes and recordings. In 1967, Murphy decided to reopen his investigation, announced it on his show, and was found dead by a hit-and-run driver two days later. To be a guest on Alien Agenda with Gene P.
