Welcome back all you, beautifulsouls, to another episode of
Aligned and Alive.
I'm your host, chrissy May, andhere's the thing we need to
talk about, something that hasbeen way too glorified in the
personal development andspiritual space for way too long

And that is the idea that youhave to be high vibe all the
time to be magnetic, successfulor aligned.
It's a myth, and I'm here totell you why it's keeping so
many people stuck in a cycle offorcing and chasing and feeling

like they're never doing enoughto manifest the life they desire
.
So here's the truth.
I'm going to give it to youstraight, because I always do.
Your magnetism isn'tconditional.
It doesn't disappear when youfeel low, uncertain or just out

of place.
You are magnetic just becauseyou are, because it's who you
are magnetic Just because youare, because it's who you are.
You are a spiritual beinghaving a human experience.
We all are.
We are all spiritual beingshaving a human experience and

just by that alone we aremagnetic.
This is just a meat suit.
It's not going with you.
Your soul is what passes onyour body, your hair, all the
things not to sound morbid butthey're either going to be
buried or burned, and that's thetruth.

Your soul is what goes on, andthis is why we want to get so
intimate with our soul, becausethat is where the magnetism lies
.
It's not in radiating joy andbliss and all the positive stuff
every single day, 24, seven.

It's in every state, it's everyseason, it's every version of
yourself state.
It's every season, it's everyversion of yourself.

So in today's episode, I'mgoing to make this very quick
presence and effortless flow.
I'm also going to share twosimple steps that you can

So let's get right into it.
We have been conditioned tobelieve that our magnetism is
only activated when we're highvibe, joyful or radiating
positivity.
It's everywhere you look it.

Just be positive and I get it.
I'm literally a very naturallypositive person.
But yeah, the last few months Iwas in the depths of hell.
For a lot of days I didn't justfeel positive, I felt grateful
to different things, I feltgrateful for life.
Every single day I wake up.
Thank you, god for eyes to see,ears to hear, lungs to breathe.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Gratitude always Positive, notalways.
Sometimes life just sucks.
It doesn't mean I'm still notmagnetic.
It doesn't mean that mymagnetism is gone because I'm
not spewing positivity andthat's the thing.
We've been conditioned tobelieve so and that if we're not

in a state of overflowinghappiness, we're somehow
disconnected from our power.
But let me tell you.
That's a lie.
Magnetism isn't something thatcomes and goes with your
emotions.
It's not a fleeting momentbased on how high your vibration
is.
Your magnetism is a state ofbeing.

It's an awareness, aconsciousness, an undeniable
truth that you are always whole,you are always worthy.
Truth that you are always whole, you are always worthy and you
are always powerful, no matterwhat mood you're in.
So we need to break away fromthis high vibe, or else

mentality.
It makes us feel like we haveto force our way into alignment.
That's not the case, becauselet's be real Life isn't always
picture perfect and just a flowof bliss.
We experience contrast, weexperience challenges, we
experience deep, heavy seasonsof life and through it all, we

still remain magnetic.
Your power does not diminishwhen you feel low.
Your ability to attract, createand embody your highest self
doesn't vanish when you're sador uncertain or if you're in the

depths of healing.
Magnetism isn't conditional.
It is your birthright.
So, instead of chasing a perfectvibration I always think of,
like the Marky Mark song, goodvibrations.
I love that song.
I'll rock out in the car oreven in the gym with that song.
It's so good.

So, instead of chasing theperfect vibration, what if you
shifted into deep self-awareness, into the knowing that you
don't have to grind or hustleyour way into feeling worthy?
What if you just stoppedforcing and started flowing,

understanding that your presence, your truth and your energy are
enough?
True magnetism comes when youembrace all of yourself, every
bit of your beautiful, badassbeingness, just embrace every
bit of it, every bit of it.

And when you drop the pressureof constantly trying to be high
vibe and instead stand firm inthe seat of your soul and just
understand that you are alreadymagnetic, you are worthy, you
are whole and you are powerful,just as you are.
And I'm going to give you twosimple steps right now to shift
from force to flow.

That's what we want.
Force to flow.
Number one drop the shoulds andtune into your body.
Stop forcing yourself to feel acertain way or to follow a
rigid routine just because youthink you should.
Okay, this is really important.

See, I love my routine.
I wake up at three, 34 o'clockevery morning.
I pray, I meditate, I take anhour walk with my dog Halo, I go
work out in the gym, then I doa sauna dip for half an hour,
then I do other things.
Like, I have my morning dialedin because it feels so good and

none of it feels forced, none ofit feels like I should.
I do it because I love it,because it just it allows me to
show up and serve every singleday at such a high level because
I want to.
And then, yeah, like every now,and then I'll wake up and I'm
like God dang my I.
Just my body hurts, or becausemaybe a really hard training
(09:37):
session or maybe I just want tosleep in a little bit longer and
I don't want to wake up atthree, 34.
I don't say I have to, I shouldwake up at three, 34.
I listened to my body and if mybody says you know what, chrissy
, let's make it a soft morning,let's just put some music on and
dance and light my whitecandles, which I always do every

morning.
But a lot of times I'll justsit into that spirit, into that
mode Right morning.
But a lot of times I'll justsit into that spirit, into that
mode right, and I'll do my walka little bit later, or I'll do
the gym a little bit later, or Imay not do the gym at all.
Holy heck, can you believe it?
God have mercy.
Lord have mercy.
I didn't work out that day.

Yeah, I still move my body, Istill nourish myself and nurture
myself and all the things, andthat is my point.
I am so intimately in tune tomy body.
I don't do things because Ishould or have to.
I'm so engaged in what I needfor that moment, and so that's
where I'm taking you right hereis, instead of forcing a rigid

routine, thinking you should bedoing it.
What if you just got verycurious and sat with yourself in
the morning and asked yourselfwhat do I truly need in this
moment?
Like, what does my body reallyneed?
Do I need an extra hour ofsleep, if you can have that?
Do I need to maybe just sit inprayer?

Do I need to go take a walk?
Like, just ask your body.
Only you know that, see, flowbegins when you honor your
natural rhythm, whether thatmeans resting, moving, creating
or just simply being.
The more you trust yourinternal guidance, your internal

compass, the more effortlesslyyou align with your innate
magnetism.
So drop the shoulds, tune intoyour body and go from force to
flow.
Number two detach from theoutcome and just focus on
(11:48):
presence.
This is so important, friends,and I know this is something
I've had myself work at for many, many, many years, and I still
find myself slipping back intothis every now and then.
And then I'm like, okay, youknow better Check yourself
before you wreck yourself.
I do.
I have those conversations withmyself Because forcing comes

from gripping too tightly on howthings should be, how things
should unfold, and this is theoutcome you're supposed to have
and you want to have.
But flow happens when yourelease the need to control
instead of obsessing, like, letgo of the obsession of all of

the results that you think youshould have or the person you
think you should be with.
You're supposed to be with them, right?
No, just shift your energy intobeing fully present in the
moment and allowing.
And I'll give you a tip thatI've been using and it works so
well Give it over to God.
If it's so heavy in your life,just give it over to God.

There's been a few things thelast couple of months in my life
that have been so heavy andinstead of ruminating about it
and trying to figure things out,I'm like God, this is freaking
heavy, this is heavy and I don'twant to hold it any longer.
I am releasing control andgiving it to you in your mighty

hands, your mighty loving arms,to take away off my heavy heart
and just take it from me, and Itrust and know that you will
guide me, you will transmute allof this heaviness into the
right path, and all I need to dois focus on the present moment,
focus on showing up and all thethings that I do and just

sitting in my flow, right, like,instead of obsessing over
everything.
There's such a freedom in thisprocess and so when you let go
of the resistance and allow lifeto just unfold naturally,
that's the sweet sauce, that'sthe ticket, because that's when
the right people come in, that'swhen the opportunities flow,

that's when the experiences showup without strain.
Detach from the outcome andjust focus on the present moment

And let's be clear Flow isn'tabout, you know, sitting on your
couch and just you know,downing a box of bonbons and
watching soap operas If thoseeven exist anymore, I don't know

, I don't watch TV.
It's not being a lazy ass onthe couch waiting for the magic
to happen.
That's not flow.
You still have to show up, youstill have to take action, you
still have to be open to receive.
The difference is you're nolonger pushing from a place of
force.
You are moving with trust, youare moving with ease, being in
(14:46):
alignment where you need to be,and that comes from becoming
more in tune with your body.
And that comes from surrender.
Like the art of surrender isone of the best practices that
you can learn and master, andthat's been mine.
Like my go-to is like surrender, just surrender.
I'm still showing up in mygreatness.

I'm still showing up and doingall the things, but I am
releasing the need to controlany longer, because guess what?
At the end of the day too, ifyou're really tuned in and
dialed in, you really only wantwhat's meant for your highest
and best good anyway, right.
So why not give that over toGod?
Let him do his magic and youcontinue just shining bright and

moving through life.
And if you need some more restor need some time to yourself,
do it.
If you want to show up big go,do it.
Just start sitting in the seatof your soul and flowing with
the rhythm of life.
It becomes so much more magical, so much more enjoyable.
It really really does.
And just allow the less youpush, the more effortlessly

things will align and in yourfavor.
