As you read further in the gospel of Matthew, you see how the disciples reacted to all that Jesus went through in the final hours before His crucifixion. In His greatest hour of need, His closest friends scattered and left Him all alone. But before that, Jesus brought His disciples up on the Mount of Olives and told them to sit. As soon as they got to the Garden, Jesus told them to sit. Why is that? Well, that’s the question we’re going to answer in this message.
