Offline with the Radio Bros
Welcome to our monthly podcast co-hosted by the Radio Bros - Dan and Shaz. Not only are they good friends, the Radio Bros are experienced in developing and consulting for a particular cloud software. Or, as they like to put it, they are Consultant Developers. Every month, they go offline from the daily grind and wind down, casually discussing topics around their work and own experiences with anything that touches the cloud: like web dev, gadgets and everything in between. Dan and Shaz will be sharing their journey. There will be a mix of detailed content (with a bit of ranting) and interviews, so hit subscribe and join the Radio Bros every month for the fun ride!

In this episode, Dan and Shaz look at the announcements made at the Apple "Let Loose" event, the pricing and a particular fallout. Everyone's doing it, so we would like to share our opinion on it, too. Dan's relationship with Alexa has got complicated, then Shaz has an announcement of the Windows kind.

Today is a bit of a rant day. We revisit some interesting news what with Tesla issues and range anxiety. There's also Microsoft's continued advertising experiments, leading to talks about ditching it. Shaz has created his own music streaming experience. Yes! We admit it. We're lazy. The latest episode is overdue and Shaz asked AI to create a script on quantum computing. The results were, well... we'd let you be the judge of that.

What's a Radio Bros episode without a rant? Boring. Website designs are nice but do they come at a usability cost. There's also discussion around getting off the cloud. Then we finally unbottled our rant about the Chief Twit.

It all started with this Hyundai ad. So, Shaz asks would you talk to your phone assistant in public like an idiot, and then experiences shenanigans with his. Dan eloquently rants about the darn freemium game ads on his phone. Then the conversation just spirals into advertising chaos on the phone and in the browser, settling on a tricky subject of encryption because of a new bill introduced by the UK Government.

An apologetically late episode this. However, the shenanigans continue. Now that Apple has announced more devices based on the M2 chip, we look at the trade-in values. Then we revisit phones again, but for a different reason. Aaaand the shenanigans continue with browser issues.

In this episode the Radio Bros are joined by another Dan. This Dan specialises in cybersecurity and let's say this interview is an eye opener, from talking about his project with IoT and staying safe online.
